Please if you can help me with another video or explenation, how to see the fault codes on the small screen (right down), since I only see the book and I have a problem with the tractor. I know that I need to enter in factory mode and swith from off to on (to see the fault codes), yet I cannot find to way how to enter in this mode. Thanks a lot!
Do you have any videos of cleaning the solenoids on the side of the transmission? Tried to calibrate our 8870 but it wouldn’t work the dealer said try cleaning the solenoids first then calibrate.
just watched this and I found out early on that the lever needs let loose early on or it wont go into flashing CC. There is a difference in adjusting the upshift and downshift between the 16 and 18. I have the 18 in an 8870. bought a Buhler CD which had some extra stuff in it .

If it cranks but doesn’t start, then it could be the fuel shut off solenoid. If it will not crank at all, it could be a bad relay, fuse or battery cable.
Hello I have intention to buy a new Holland g 170 But the tractor have a problem, he didn't shift just until the 10 speed What do you think it's electrica problem or something inside the gearbox Thanks for answer
I would be careful. I have heard that it’s $20,000 to rebuild the gearbox. Does the display show it shifting through the gears? What are the error codes? Maybe have a look at the calibrating the transmission on a genesis tractor video I made. That video will show you how to see if the clutches are wore out. If they are wore out I would stay away.
Hi! My G240 in F1 stops to 23 , F2 stops to 29 and R to 99 . When i check the hole calibration holding R to the left it shows F1 23 , F2 29 and R 50... When i drive the tractor shifts normally to 9 gear , when put 10 gear it jumps ? any ideas?
Almost all of these tractors shift hard from 9-10, and 10 to 9. This is especially true if you have the 18 speed Funk transmission. Other than calibration I don’t have any other advise.
To 9 to 10 shift quality improves isn't there advice even shown in the book in this video?? "Calibration of shift constant" In neutral, lever to left, key on, change the digits and so on..
F330- Transmission reverse circuit open. The solenoid is 2nd to the bottom on the right side of the shifting solenoid block F333- Fuel shut off solenoid error. This is the solenoid that shuts off the tractor on the right side of the engine above the injector pump. common problem. F410- Exhaust temp sensor. This is right on top of the engine connected to the exhaust. F16- Left draft pin failure. check the plug for dirt or corrosion on the three point.
