JSU is starting to sound like SU lately. over the years they have switched there style of play!!!!! I miss the old Boom that had that tail at the end of every song!
we have 2 totally different sounds.... don't know what you have been listening to ...smh
Jsu has a tonal center. Even when they blow too edgy. Clearly they have better musicians attending there. Su is loud...jsu is loud...that is where the similarities end. In the swac su is the MAIN band where everyone is out of tune on every song. Right down to tone quality jsu aint tryna to be su. They even sound 10x better on the field. Im Ocean alumni...i have no reason to root for either one. Loud doesnt=su.

AAMU Trumpets Are Slept On... I have To Admit AAMU Has No Power... Trumpets And Tubas Are The Strongest Sections To Me.
Agree aamu has power it's just everywhere except the mid brass (mellos and baritone horns) where they lack but a very good band. Trumpets and the divas for aamu slayed jsu trumpets and jsettes for jsu tho
Aamu are known for their trumpets n tubas. They tbones be pushing some but every thing is blended soft.

I do like to give credit where its do. AA&M did show alot of class. They waited on da boom to come in first, they didn't cut through the percussion while going up ramp. Su would have marched right through that especially as long as the percussion played just standing there and in the zero quarter when da boom plays dat melody of songs they didn't play at Same time. Im not saying they where right or wrong because there no rule about any of the above but it did show the maturity of there staff and band as a whole.

AA&M was horrible. They should have saved those thousands of dollars and went to a holiday parade or something. They where a waste of hearing. I mean i would rather had some high school from Huntsville to had came. There band members couldn't even talk shit. They just waited until it was there turn. Lol. What a joke.....

I think its apparent that Jackson is just being rude, not even letting the other band get a song in. what's the purpose of a Zero Quarter if you aren't going to exchange tunes, no one wants to hear both bands playing at the same time. Terrible Jackson.
