@user-jl4jx9hl3c I'm literally using them right now, and yes, I love them! I've had them act up on me a couple of times. Messed up wireless controller connection. Static. Not perfect but definitely worth less than $40.

@@dragonbloggerany update on PS5 testing? I am thinking of getting this for Christmas. My nephew plays on PS5 and I want to know how this works with it
Are you using Wireless Bluetooth, USB Wireless Dongle or 3.5mm plugged in, and what controller/system? I have never heard ever of a headset any model causing controller drift.
Now I'm confused about something & you might know how to guide me ... I've paired my headset Bluetooth-wise & all. Now, if I'm playing an online game with a friend & chatting/talking, the lower button will be at the 2.4G position. If I receive a phone call I'll see my phone light up in front of me. Now, will I hear it in my headset or will I have to switch that button to Bluetooth to be able to take the call with the headset? Thank you
@@dragonblogger tyvm ... so if my phone is not in view and/or its sound is not loud enough for me to hear it with my headsets on, I can miss the call!! 😂
Yes, that can happen as it is Bluetooth off when in 2.4ghz mode. I don't really use my GTHEOS in Bluetooth at all, I use it solely with the 2.4ghz dongle for PS5 and PC when I use it.
@@dragonblogger When I bought them, I thought that you could still hear the phone while playing online. Oh well, no big deal, I'll get used to this & thanks for your patience & replies.
For reference not even the Logitech G Pro X2 Lightspeed wireless headset can do Bluetooth & 2.4Ghz at same time, it also has to use a button to switch back and forth.
So overall, would it also be good for Discord calls? I play games with my friends and we all tend to talk about the game while gaming. I want a better "main" pair (the pair I have is literally just some I got from the store, so they'd be a back up pair)
I have no trouble with this headset when talking on Discord with it while gaming, just note this headset does not have Sidetone so you can't hear your own voice like you can with some headsets with sidetone.
Yes, you can charge it via the uSB C while it is powered on with dongle in USB port on PC or pS5. I just confirmed it, I have my Jackery Explorer 300 with USB C charging it, and it is powered on and connected to PC just fine or PS5.
Hello, I'm not a gamer, but was given this headset. You mentioned a splitter for those who will be using them on PC: Which is how I'll be using them. What is a splitter and how do I install to make these work on PC? My PC discovers Captain 300 and my audio out is set on same. No sound through headset. I updated software on PC, so I am stumped. I will not be using the microphone, so I don't think I even need a splitter. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks
If you use USB port for wireless you don't need a splitter, you only need a splitter if using it wired 3.5mm to where you have both a red/green 3.5mm port and you need to split the single 4-pole. Something like this amzn.to/4dKpmKZ #commissionearned but again this is only needed if you aren't using the USB dongle to be wireless with PC. Laptops typically have single pole and don't need to split to dual input.
@@dragonblogger Thank you for responding. After much troubleshooting with the transmitter/dongle for wireless connection on my PC, I’ve decided to return them.
