In the interviews after Nightmare Before Christmas came out, it was funny to see how both Tim Burton (who conceived and produced it), Henry Selick (who directed it), and Danny Elfman (who scored the film and sang in it) each considered it 'their' movie. From memory there's even a story about Elfman walking up to (I think) Selick and basically saying, "You did an amazing job bringing my songs to life." I wonder if, after scoring Toy Story, that's how Randy saw the movie - with not too much care about the landmark CGI, and seeing Toy Story more as a visual vehicle for his badass soundtrack.
