We were out at the legendary IMG Academy for the week chilling with the best athletes in the world. We got a chance to get the tour from point guard Noah Farrakhan who showed us what it's like to be an IMG Academy athlete. It is TOUGH! Noah is hilarious but his day to day is serious! I got a scholarship there for baseball and how it works is that we have 3 hours a day for school then we the rest of the day of practice for our sport. After that we have mor study halls and classes

So I spent nearly 3 years in IMG, as a golf player we have training section thru 7 am to 11.30 am. After that we go have lunch and break till 1.15 pm, then we are going to have classes all the way to 5.30 pm, if you have free period, you could have 1 and half hour less during the class time. BTW lost year the class starts 1.20 pm and ends 6 pm.

I go to prep school and have 1.5 hour on ice hockey practice before school and then 1 hour off ice training. Shits hell lol. Only have like 3-4 hours of actual school but sometimes wish there was more school and less practice lol

Those are college credits, the school is based on how colleges operate which is why it costs 60k a year. They also have a postgraduates program, this shit is mad expensive which is why some students wait until senior year to transfer there to build on what they have before college.
J O A lot of the guys that go there are eligible like center who tried to get the rebound he’s now at college at Kansas

There's two where I use to live by. A bud of mine went to one for ski/snowboard type stuff and it was called NSA, short for national sports academy. Then there's one that focuses on more sports like soccer, lacrosse and hockey. I know anyone with money and not interested in sports could still attend to that specific school. So to answer your question yes I think a student needs to benefit by going there somehow aka yes they have to play a certain sport in order to enroll. Some schools might acquire a scholarship or a strong past with a specific sport.
