Great stuff as always Gary, it would definitely make sense the crater being an old pond….hence all those coins chucked in for luck I reckon! Helpful as ever & the 13” is on the Xmas list! All the best
Thanks Gary for another insightful video. I have heard the new 13 inch has about 4 inch more of a sweet spot on deep targets vs. my 11 inch Deus coil. Al, NJ, USA
That was my findings on a 12 inch 14 k gold ring it the Wet Salt Sand at the Beach...3 to 4 inches coverage advantage over 11 inch coil at 12 inches is what I was seeing on the Gold 14 k ring size of a USA DIME.
Reminds me of a pasture field of mine Gaz you know the one it just fills up as you dig being next to a small river. Still get some really deep coins and artefacts. General is best there aswell 👏
Hi Gary, more on EMI. I suspect that radio transmissions on power lines and wi-fi might be the cause because it is not so bad under some power lines. But EMI rejection could be improved anyway by using smoothing. The EMI is much faster than the normal signal hence why we know it is EMI 👍
Hi Gary. I have just been watching your older vid: XP HF COIL TESTING HIGH FREQUENCIES. I wonder if you fancy having a go again but making a direct comparison using two Deus 1 machines, one with 9" round hf coil and one with 11" x35 black coil? I have been doing some experiments using your sonar programme and a buried lizzy penny. I kept getting better results with the x35 black coil when I thought the white coil would have been better. Next time I will use a cut quarter to really test things but what do you think?
Gary, what is the weight difference between the 11 inch and the 13 inch coils? In your personal opinion, is there a significant difference in depth targeting between the two coils?
cant wait for the second part of your video. what is your opinion on this coil? it's a must have? or i can get away using only the 9 inch? on open land i feel like i'm loosing precious time with the 9". thank you!
Hello Garry A lot of questions about choosing the first disc for the purchase of a DEUS 2... I would like to have your opinion if possible, which one to take?? knowing that I detect on fields, forests, sometimes polluted and mineralized .. The large 28x35 disc may not capture a coin having a lot of iron around. Thank you in advance for your advice and see you soon. Toch, Gironde, France
good evening Garry thank you for taking the time to answer me and give me your opinion that will be useful to me the day I could afford to buy the DEUS 2, my darling has the 22cm and the difference with my ORX is impressive as much with the 28cm disc or the 22hf, and she too wondered if her choice was the right one... thank you again for your opinion which is precious to us, good luck sincerely, Toch and Alexandrine (my dear) Gironde, France
hi Gary. As you are a specialist in xp detectors, I would like to ask you a question, not about deus 2, but about xp orx. I had the problem today in the field that during a cigarette break my detector suddenly switched off. On switching it back on, the display showed a flat coil, but after a while, the coil showed over half a battery again and since then the detector has worked as it should. This has happened to me once before, so I am asking for your help (x35) coil. Have you encountered a similar problem before ? TIA.
When pairing coil to the remote can you have multiple coil serial numbers installed and just select the required coil that you are going to use rather than deleting the original coil and having to re install it should you want to change back?
How much depth does the new coil give me compared to the old coil? I know this depends on the program but lets say general program same ground as here. Normal 1 euro coin.
Sorry to bother you Gary, but do have any recommended readings to help accelerate the learning process? If you ever get the chance, I have a wonderful Dey’s II , but it is still clearly more intelligent than I (and likely will be for some time, but I love it)!
Not 13inch, 11inch is the smaller dimension, so its the 11inch coil and the 9inch coil, and thats it i think. Id love a 15” coil for the Deus 2. Man o Man.
You videos over the years have taught me so much ! THANKS!
Many thank sir
Gary, many thanks for a wonderful and very informative video,,, all the best Dave.
Thanks Dave 🤝
thank you for the informational video. cant wait for part two. always a pleasure to watch you, sir!
Thanks Gabriel 🤝👍
Great video, Gary! It picked up that small dogtag pretty well on that depth! Thank you for uploading!
You are welcome my friend 🤝
That coils a bit of a beast mate. Nice to see it hit those deep coins out. That relic program was impressive. Thanks for sharing 👍
Cheers Paul
Catch you soon
Good demo thanks Gary. I use the 11 inch on my D2. I used to have the 13 inch for my D1 and I did enjoy the coverage
Great feedback thanks
Thanks for another informative video Gary
Thanks T&T md
Hi Gary great test been going through all your videos for when I get my Deus 2 thankyou 😁
Thanks for your support 👍🤝
I'm getting like you, I keep telling myself to make a list to go over before I leave :))
Cheers Dave 👍

It's possible on certain targets.

Let's try the big coil in Relic mode next time.
@@The-skillschool Definitely mate, that would be interesting for sure. Reckon we'll need longer spades.
Thank you for the video Gary but I think I will stick to the 9 and 11 inch coil great for my pace of detecting. Len
Cheers Len
Can we expect a smaller elliptical soon ??
That would be so cool
I agree. Just like I have for my orx.
I hope so!
For sure!
Please do

The technical specs will be on the XP web site.
I gave my thoughts in the video. The 11" offers a good compromise between the 9 and 13.

A lot depends on contamination, there are lots of contaminated pasture sites where the 9" coil will be a better option.
@@The-skillschool ank you for the answer

I prefer the 22cm coil, but that's just my personal choice.

That sounds very strange, I have never heard of that problem.

No you can pair multiple coils, but just 1 set of headphones and 1 pin pointer.
Thank you sir 👍🤝

Gary, what is ur cuurent soft version in D2? I feel like I has better results before uprading to recent one...
I am using the latest version
Can I ask why you usually use the 9”over the 11 ?
@@draco9y9 because I prefer it
Hello Gary can I use the orx coils the Deus 11 . Are they comparable .
No
Hola. Que plato me recomiendas 28 o 34x28
It really is a personal choice
Forgetting Hand diggers come with age. LOL. Jerry.

I have amazing thoughts i know what is under ground.
Xp orx of price sir ji 11* Inch coil
A larger coil detects larger items deeper and a small coil detects smaller items more shallow.
Thanks

1-3 cm

Looking at the numbers will seriously slow down your learning curve Robert.
Try to just focus on Ferrous and Non Ferrous sounds.
