Wow, loving the autumn colors in the background!🍂🍁And thank you for the accessory ideas. There is a company that now makes an “in-camera” filter, meaning the filter attaches like a teleconverter at the front of the camera’s sensor. I’ll update with the company’s name. As also, looking forward to the next vlog (weather disaster?😧)! Have a great rest of the week!👍🏽🙏🏽

Oh thanks! I think Canon has some lenses with that feature built in too. Yeah the weather created a disaster...

Hi Monique. Good stuff. One tip and one accessory to add. On the neoprene lens covers, if you get stuck out in the rain, slip them off to let everything dry. If moisture gets under them, it won't dry quickly. On an accessory, if a person does not want to go the bean bag route, a piece of pipe insulation (the foam stuff that looks like a pool noodle) available at any hardware store. Cut a piece about 6-8" long and slip it over the window. It already is slit to fit over a pipe. It works great, is light weight and cushions the lens from the window if there is any vibration coming from the car. Not as stable as a bean bag (meaning don't let your camera go or it may fall but I don't turn loose of my camera even with a bean bag over the door). A piece long enough to do every window in your car and every window in your other car will cost about $5.00 or so.

Peak design slide is good buy, I also use clear 95mm filter to protect front element.

I have the arca Swiss foot replacement and prefer it to the Sony as it’s longer, same can’t be said for the 100-400 the gap between the foot and the body is too shallow to get your fingers in. I have the peak design clips and strap mostly in case I put the camera on a black rapid strap, their anchors can come loose and I dropped my sigma 150-600 because of that. Now use a peak design screw in fitting on the base of the camera if needed which seems more secure. I have the swinging gimble tripod head it is good but heavy to carry. I have a bean bag not so much for the car but for hides so you can rest on the sill, it would work on the car too. Have disposable rain covers not so worried about the 200-600 as when you zoom the length stays the same more concerned about the g master 100-400 where you could get water inside as you zoom. I was given skins as a present but don’t use them feel they are a but posy, wildlife are scared of me not my equipment. What you have forgotten is camera bags! Finding ones long enough to take the lens with a body attached is a challenge! So I have a Lowe pro whistler 450 which is big and takes two bodies and multiple lens plus some life stuff but can be very heavy when full, and a mindshift back light 26l which is smaller and lighter but will still fit 2 bodies one fitted with the 200-600. As for filters I had a day light one on the lens but took it off as was not clear if it was affecting the focus on the A7RIV lots of discussion in user groups with that body and poor focus with a number of users…. 😊 Glad you have got some nice autumn colours !

Thanks for the great suggestions! Sorry you dropped your lens, ouch! I hadn't thought of the length of the foot, will keep that in mind. Oh camera bags are a something I am always on the hunt to find the perfect one. Steve re arranges his bag for the big lens but with my camera and lenses and all the filming gear I never put the 200-600 in my bag. Will check out the Lowe Pro. Thanks!

I can recommend the Rolanpro covers for this lens. They are not the cheapest but I tried a cheap one and it started to disintegrate within a few weeks. The Rolanpro one has bound edges and is much better quality.

Careful for helicopters, I hear they can be windy and knock over cameras
