Thank you for posting this video. My biggest problem is my neck area the measurement doesn't necessarly work with custom made patterns for sewing a shirt. Kyddoemiko.
Hello, I personally like to wash my shirts either by machine or hand using a fabric softener. Then I like to air dry them because some fibers can get damage by the heat from the dryer. Light starch and a good press with the iron. May be you are using low setting that may also work with the dryer?
Do you guys in the UK hang your clothes to air dry? Or generally in the dryer? I'd love to have a bespoke shirt, I just worry that if I put it in the dryer it will shrink. Maybe it's just me, but I LOVE how soft the shirts feel when they come out of the dryer!
This was the 3rd video I watched trying to figure out what each measurement meant. Wish I started with this one. I thought you measured the shoulder across the front, good to know you do not. 👍
Good advice but spoiled by background music being so loud that it is not in the background, but the foreground, and in competition with the speaking. It's silly to make the music so loud that it makes it harder to understand the important information! I did not choose the video for its (irritating) music but for the information.
!!! You have done a great video.!!! but why can't you show how much is the actual measurements, your fingers were hiding the actual measuring tap value!!!!! Good one though!!!
"Always measure in inches" Have you ever seen the date in the calendar these days? Are you 60? NOBODY UNDER 50 use that shitty archaic thin, let alone stylish youngmen willing to pay for the perfect fit... you guys are mad, mad, MAD!!!!
Thanks so much
I love the simplicity of the video

Very helpful information about shirt measurement
No bicep width?
does these measures gaurantees comfort when a person sits. I am sure at tummy it will be tight.
I’ve seen a few videos on this. Fingers vary from one to two behind the tape measure. Is there a definitive answer?
I think it varies from tailor to tailor, when it comes to buying off the rack I'd typically say two fingers is best
Thank you
Are you still there after 10 years old? I am interested

Why are hits cuff links missing?
What about measuring the armhole? Shouldn't this be included as well?
Its 4th of your total chest
If the chest is 40
Armhole will be 10 inches
If want full fit you can reduce half inch

it's not the dryer, it is the refrigerator that is making your shirt tight

Please take no notice of this, It has no chance of fitting as a bespoke shirt.
So rude! Why couldn't you just state your case?
