Nice wind audio of the car.
I like ur dedication since from part1 to part5!
Thanks for your comment which is a major motivation to keep moving forward 🤙🏽
Mi sueño es tener un corolla asi!! Felicidades y que sigan los videos! Saludos desde Paraguay
🙏 thank you
I guess it is pretty off topic but does anyone know of a good site to watch newly released movies online?
I did this on a older corolla pretty much the same setup with a top mount intercooler
Excellent video mate. Makes me want to turbo my KE70 more and more...
epic246 thanks mate. Go the turbo...makes the car a little more fun 💪
I am swapping my 4k with 7k healthy motor twin side drafts with 5speed manual in my ke35, will share it once done
Nice. I’m just about to rebuild my 7k with GT28 turbo.
Sir you are a true inspiration and really motivated me to work on my ke70
Appreciate your comment 😀. More videos to come. I’m doing more upgrades today on the KE70
@@vinnierolla CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE VIDEO!!💪🙌🔥
helo sir.thanks for sharing your build from phillipines...
Greeting from u.s.a.... n.y.c...Nice progress on the toy dude.....liked the work on the plenum too....💯👍.
Cheers Herbie...it works a treat
nice work 💯
❤nice work brotha very inspiring 💯
Thanks bro
Really inspire video 👍i can feel your sense of satisfaction, awaiting for your next project 👍
Thanks Dody!
nice work. how far or how many inches from the exhaust manifold did you install the 02 sensor?
On this one it was about 3-4 inches from the turbo but it was too close. My be dump pipe the O2 is about 8 inches away.
@@vinnierolla thanks. what about if I don’t have a turbo, just the regular exhaust manifold. how far should I put my 02 sensor
@@roncordero4155 about the same 8 inches from the head
Fuck yeah bro! Great to see it putting a smile on your face. Looks pretty quick now!
How have I just seen your comment now 😆 It’s so much quicker now bro. Heaps more fun to drive
@@vinnierolla dunno mate. Other things to worry about I guess!
Happy new year anyway!
@@davechambers2998 yeah been a weird year. Hope a great 2021 to you and the fam.
They got plenums
Nice video, greetings from Indonesia
Thanks For watching. Love the Indo corollas
greetings from Philippines
Hey Kuya, thanks for tuning in
greetings from Indonesia ... I am very happy to see your content ... really creative and there is a lot of knowledge that I can take from your content ... because in Indonesia Corola DX uses a 3k to 7k engine, if I may know by adding turbo or not the piston is broken, bro, if you don't use a special turbo piston ... creative greetings, prosperity and success always for you ... I always look forward to your next content, thank you.🙏
The pistons are standard. All engine internals are standard. The pistons seem to be ok running turbo at about 7psi
@@vinnierolla great friend ... greetings from batam indonesia, and i will continue to follow you both on youtube and your instagram i follow healthy and successful greetings always, by. gastam arfan✌
great video as always vinnie!
Cheers for the feedback Alex.
My little knowledge about carburettors tells me that they work with depression, vacuum of the engine sucks the fuel, if you inject air with pressure it will reduce aspiration effect of the fuel, carbs don’t inject fuel, they aspirate.
There are cars that use especial modified carbs that can equalise boost pressure with the pressure inside the floats. I think that carb is not ready for that, but you can try to make a box with the carb inside and pressure it all.
Research it you will find info about it.
But...... nice work, don’t give up
Nice bro from Malaysia
Love it Vinnie
Maybe time for a track day !?
Yeah it’s getting close. Suspension first though. I was planning on suspension over Xmas break but I just bought another project car.
Thanks only criticism is music is much louder than commentary sections.
Thanks for the feedback. Improved music volume in new videos
good job bro....nice ke70
kadora8186 kadora thanks bro 👍
Turbo Gemini do off the shelf boost ready 32/36 webers
Yeah I’ve seen them. Apart from the choke, not sure what makes then boost ready. I’m using their fuel pump and regulator...it’s ok but I’ve had a few issue like pump pressure variability. Just not stable.
How did you set up the carburetor for Boost ?? I'm trying to boost my BMW M10 with the same 32/36 help
All I did is remove the choke, block off choke section on the top hat, changed to plastic floats was a must and ensure you’ve got a good needle and seat to hold the extra fuel pressure.
Make sure your plenum is air tight 👍
Hey mate, do you have a cheat sheet for the jet sizes for the 32/36?
Love to see the progress!
Wish I did. I went on all the forums and everyone one runs a little bit different.
I’m still adjusting and messing with different jets but I was very surprised with how big I needed to go.
What I’m currently running is primary jet 170, secondary jet 185, idle primary 42, idle secondary 50, air corrector primary 170, air corrector secondary 150
I’m also going running copper floats but I’m going to change to plastic and see if it makes a difference to fueling levels
@@vinnierolla That should give a decent starting point for myself anyhow, thank you for the reply. Can I also ask, how many pounds of boost are you running through that sr20 turbo? Which forums do you use? Is it still a stock motor?
Sorry for the bombardment of questions, can't help myself :)
Chees
@@jackobyrnes6320 No probs happy to help.
Turbo: I’m running 7-10psi that’s on stock wastegate
Forums: Rollaclub and toymods
Motor: it’s completely stock with 140k on the clock. I don’t thrash it too much much and seems to be holding up fine but I’m prepared to rebuild If she dies
Love your videos from Jamaica keep up the good work
Kelvin Smith thanks 🙏 big up and cant wait to visit Jamaica 🇯🇲 one day
Hi! How did you set up your weber 32/36? Did you modify it? Sorry for may questions. How do you set up your turbo?
Im from PH! And the engine im using is 4g54 hehe.
What did to the carb was:
-Removing the choke as it may interfere with boost
-Sealing the top housing so it can hold boost
-Replaced the metal fuel floats with plastic float
I haven’t done anything to the turbo apart from a small t-piece as a boost controller
What's your current jetting mate? Inhear that you can go up to 10psi boost if the engine is NA right? Thank you so much!
@@alexishernandez5200 you’ll find my jet sizing here vrolla.online/how-to-size-carburettor-jets-whats-in-the-turbo-ke70/
10psi is safe but if you get arp head studs, you’ll be able to run more
Thank you so much sir! ❤️
I like your Corolla, great proyect greetings from El Salvador 👍👌
Appreciate the comment Alexis
Sir can i know the specs of your carburator the main jet sizes and how many psi or boost you running ?
It’s a 32/36 Weber and I was running about 10psi. On my new motor I’m hoping to run about 15psi with the same carb
@@vinnierolla im building a 1.3l suzuki samurai with 7psi supercjqrger amd 5k carburator i dont know what to put jetting sizes hehehe
@@rafaeltorres678 jet sizing will be hard to work out without a wide band air fuel gauge. Definitely invest in one
Oh ok i might buy a afr guage as well thx anyways 😅
Successful👌
Hey mate so what size jets ended up working best
go to the bottom of this post to see my current jet sizing vrolla.online/how-to-size-carburettor-jets-whats-in-the-turbo-ke70/
Out of interest did you modify ent of the carbs to handle boost like blocking passages and weird things like that
Just removed choke and blocked off the where the choke lever when through the top of the carb. Apart from that, just messing with float levels and needle and seat options to handle the higher fuel pressure which is still not perfect.
Yeah I'm sure there are other things that get modified internally
Saludos de uruguay 🙌🔥
Hey Franco..thanks for watching the video
Great video 👌🏼 next time close the windows wen test driving could hear nothing 😭
👍
How high it revs?
I haven’t pushed past it past 6k but it has more in it
