I'm waiting for turbo :) this is what your MTZ need :)
:-)

Looks good and no more leaks! 🤘☺
Yes. It started leaking like a birch in the spring - even from the middle of the radiator.
I can operate and repair these machines
Excelent job. You turned that 82 into a beast. I have a question though. Mechanics here in Croatia don't like Belarus (52 and 82) tractors, they say their rear side axels get twisted like a screw and break the bearings with time because they are made of some soft material, and front drive turns on randomly during transport or turning a corner and breaking the bevel gears on front end.
Now, my question is, in your experience, have you ever seen stuff like that and what do you think could be the reason for these failures?
Thank you in advance.
I am curious, what tractors do the mechanics in Croatia like then?
Belarus is quite reliable. I have no experience with 52 but I know that 82 will last a long time if you maintain it properly. But you must love the mechanics and everyday small repairs.. If you choose not to repair it you will damage the front axle (like you mentioned) and (all) other parts. Also older versions were made from better metal and alloys - I always try to use original parts and not the counterfeit from Asia. If you stick with the original it should be OK. But if you buy price (choose cheaper) then you will probably suffer.
Mechanics don't like any because they get to fix them hahah but people in general mostly like Zetor, Ursus, or IMT as affordable tractor and Massey or JD as the best. But hey, Belarus is fine for me, my family has the same tractor (IMT 533) for 50+ years and it runs like brand new while the rest in my village are beaten up and falling apart.
I am curious what are the "Original" belarus parts suppliers?
..asking because i have a chance to buy MTZ 52.
I love MTZ!4! like!
😊👍
After a few "roundabouts" I also bought a radiator from Orenburg for my MTZ, and never regret it! But now You must have a very good thermostat in your tractor, or the engine will not reach the working temperature.
I hope you got the 'original' one. They are usually much more expensive and made of some copper alloy. The cheap aluminum knockoffs will not work under heavy load.
Yes, it is the original one. It was 2x more expensive, and 3x more heavy than the others on the market. Earlyer I tried an other radiator made of copper in Turkey, but it was too weak, and after maybe 500 engine hours I had to sell it. This russian one after round 1000 engine hours looks and works like it was new. It didn't fit to my MTZ-50, so I had to modify it slightly.
Great to hear that it worked out for you. The original will last a long time.
Nice video, great job. As someone else mentioned, maybe a TURBO is next :) Do you know what year your tractor is manufactured? Hyvää juhannusta :)
I don't know. I have been looking at the plates on engine and transmission. No glues so far.. but probably in the early '80-s. Hyvää juhannusta itsellekin ;)
I never understood why Belarus had those front axles, it just looks too complicated, a zf or carraro style axle is far more simple and effective
I think it's a clearance issue. So you can ride on some crops for example. Lowest point on belarus is the back axle but on my other tractor (t-40) clearance is 50+cm - very nice on snow and crops.
The Belarus tractors were designed for crops like corn, or sunflower, where the back differential fits between the rows, so the tractor can work in plants that fit under the front axle.
Clearance is great, and don't forget there wasn't the large choice of tyre sizes when they were designed. Four wheel drive was a new concept.
Man how to change Lower water connection without removing the radiator?
It is possible to change it. I have done it. It's not an easy job but it's possible.
Can you give me some tips? We try to do this but it crush or It folds and the water can not pass and the tractor overheat.
Use warm water. Put the hose in warm water to make it soft and use some (graphite) lubrication on the fittings. If that does not work then it's time to loosen the radiator and lift it up.

Where did you buy radiator?
Bought it just from a local tractor parts dealer. But it's 'original' radiator and not the cheap aluminum one.
