this is cool but if you want hydrated under eyes, why would you put an oil under a water based cream? any moisture from the cream is locked out by the oil. oils don’t moisturize they seal in moisture. so if your skin was dry to start all that did was the opposite lol
yes, but people really underestimate the difference it can make. sometimes JUST an oil is enough for your skin to be hydrated since the reason it’s dry is because it loses so much moisture to the environment. often times occlusives are better than humectants
@@ZipporahRian44 no, it doesn’t moisturize or hydrate. it locks in the moisture that your skin already has or any moisturizer under the oil. it’s an occlusive layer.
I got this on clearance from my grocery store a month ago, and I've been loving it! That said, it's real easy to love something that you spent 2 bucks on! 😂
Way too much and too many products used. A simple eyecream for hydration, I use the Elemis Peptide one, dot a concealer and blend, .I use this Maybelline one, have done for years. Complete makeup and use a decent setting spray...job done. 😊
This is just now going viral? It’s been a holy grail for majority of peoples since it was launched, regular concealers too, particularly since they have expanded the shade range and undertones to lean more inclusive finally. It is so strange what goes viral when. You’d think the Age Rewind foundation would be what’s viral now that people are beginning to use and love it’s formula. Initially people disliked the foundation, but recently have been loving it and the Maybelline 4 in 1 Instant Age Glow foundation
If you're gonna keep using the concealer i recommend just pulling the sponge out! I also hate it lol, it also saves more product and isn't as disgusting that way
May I suggest trying the Flower Beauty Get Real concealer. That is such a hidden gem as well as the Joah Brightener Concealer (and the foundation sold at CVS) in the twist sponge tip packaging like Age Rewind. Kokie Perfect Skin foundation another great one and it has such great undertones that you can actually find your exact match instead of it leaning orange or too pink like a lot of drugstore foundations do. But the Flower Get Real has a great buildable but natural coverage while having a slight powdery formula that allows it to blend beautifully and seamlessly into the skin while drying to a powder finish so you can forego setting it if you prefer. It is great for any age but particularly mature skin where you need the coverage without having it be too dry or too emollient, but something right in between.
I've been using this for years. It's amazing for neutralizing undereye circles on my fair skin! Sometimes, I don't need additional concealer when using this product. ~Anastacia in Cleveland
Use it any way it works for your look. This would be too much makeup for me. I just use it under the eyes and where I want a natural highlight then put the age rewind foundation on top🎉
Oil is a stealant, dorsnt hydrate. It locks in hydration. Also, we use oil to easily take off makeup, so technically wouldnt this make it not last long?
Seems like it must have been at least 15 to 20 years ago that I tried this concealer and didn’t like it, especially the colour on me. I tried the lightest shade and it was either too pink or too dark for my complexion.
Try twisting it lightly several times, there is then product inside of the sponge tip that comes out when you apply it to the skin. I wait until it doesn't apply well, then twist a few more times again. I've been using this product for many years with no issue.
Me and my mom got a bad reaction to this one. Our eyes were burning , watering and were red after an hour. So I don’t recommend or be careful with it at least

I was thinking the same thing 😂 like w are u trying to do?
Ugh, thank you. That made me crazy, went to the comments to see if anybody else caught it
Yeah always start with lightest skincare products: toner, serum, moisturiser then oil. Heaviest product last 😅
I was thinking the same thing lol At least her eyes are moisturized😂 maybe?
Exactly she tries to act smart but fails 😂
I think oil doesn’t moisturise, it locks in the moisture 😊
yes, but people really underestimate the difference it can make. sometimes JUST an oil is enough for your skin to be hydrated since the reason it’s dry is because it loses so much moisture to the environment. often times occlusives are better than humectants
You mean oil is mosterizing but not hydrating.
@@ZipporahRian44 no, it doesn’t moisturize or hydrate. it locks in the moisture that your skin already has or any moisturizer under the oil. it’s an occlusive layer.
Also putting on a mask after oil? Not productive
That product has been out for at least 20 years. As a person who is always used high end beauty products, this is an extremely good substitute.
Age rewind came out 2010, but yeah it’s nothing new. I used this concealer all the way through high school and still use it now sometimes.
I too have been using it for years.
You don’t have to use that much product if you don’t want to, it depends how many times you turn to get the product out…
Yeah this is the dumbest video..why would you twist it so much like you don't know how the container works?
Probably cuz it was newly bought. They always erupt on me cuz I'm too impatient with the twisty thingy taking forever 💀
Gorgeous! But oof, I wish there was a tip for what to use instead of Elemis products, because that's a chunk of $$.
Me too
I love the ordinary oils like rosehip for the same purpose
Just use a damn oil you like

Your wings and eye makeup are so flattering on you! gorgeous look. You really nailed it
Just add blush to your concealer
oil shouldve gone on top of the eye mask
Love all the Rewind products. At 64 it’s a dream…
Try IL Makiage- saved my under eyes.
Best concealer on the market
Hydration definition is to cause something to absorb water.
Use the pink one first, it's color correcting. Then go in with a very VERY light amount of concealer.
Oils don't need to be "locked in."
Oil is the last product that should be applied, as an oil is what would do the "locking in," as you say.
I just put it right on and it looks amazing. No extra steps
Hydration with oil. You’re keeping cosmetic companies in business 😂
I've used that for years!! Great stuff!!
Just pull the sponge tip off.... you're welcome!!! 😂
@Emily Gilbey You made my Sunday morning 😅Thank you! I’m a bit of a MacGyver myself. Happy Memorial Day to you and your family ✨💖

You’re skin is flawless!
I've been using this concealer for years. Pretty funny to see it "going viral" now. It's great tho.
Ik me too, I saw one influencer say it was new....ummm no, no its not lol
It already "went viral" 12 years ago in the the beauty world 😂

Her skin is flawless.
Maybelline need to bring back the concealer shade 145 😢
You have beautiful eyes
😮 great job
Like many other alrdy said, u don’t put an oil before your cream because it’ll just repel it. Oil and water don’t mesh!
What eyelashes did you have on? Beautiful
Be careful of using oils around your eyes.. those tiny bumps under your eyes, i think is caused by oil. Like milia..
Thank You for showing Me how to do these things. I really appreciate it.
What is your nail polish color please? Looks like those are your natural nails? Amazing!
You have so much face space! I feel like I have half the cheeks
That shiz burned my eyes so bad I cried dunno why but nopers was like Vicks was under my eyes
It’s one of my favourite products
Don't fuss...eye cream, moisturizer and then vaseline..it works.❤
Very nicely done!
Marlena loves Elemis too prior to Foundation
Love Elemis!!
Use it and love it I'm using it about 3 years and you get a lot in it . I loved using the sponge applicator gets into fine lines good 😂
Use it any way it works for your look. This would be too much makeup for me. I just use it under the eyes and where I want a natural highlight then put the age rewind foundation on top🎉
According to how much you squeezed out, no wonder the sponge is going to apply more than you need.
Oil on top of the cream will lock in that hydration 😊
The pink concealer is literally just my skin tone 😂😂 it's the best matching concealer I've ever found
I wonder how long she’s been wasting her eye cream😂
i recently bought that concealer, had no clue it was viral❤
What’s the number of the pink concealer?
Oil is a stealant, dorsnt hydrate. It locks in hydration. Also, we use oil to easily take off makeup, so technically wouldnt this make it not last long?
I use that stuff with loreal infallible foundation
I usually tear off the sponge applicator; it normally wastes a lot of product
I've used it for years lol
Same i bought one and it was on my shelf for like 2 years forgetting to try to use it cause I didn’t know how to use it😂
Seems like it must have been at least 15 to 20 years ago that I tried this concealer and didn’t like it, especially the colour on me. I tried the lightest shade and it was either too pink or too dark for my complexion.
Which exact one is this?
Thank you so much I stopped using it because it puts too much on. I'll use it with the brush now
Try twisting it lightly several times, there is then product inside of the sponge tip that comes out when you apply it to the skin. I wait until it doesn't apply well, then twist a few more times again. I've been using this product for many years with no issue.
Take off the sponge on the concealer. Much more manageable with product dispensing
I'm ever using Maybelline again.
Your nose is the most perfect nose ever
This short reminds me of a commercial
Milani has a duplicate pink concealor and it is cruelty-free!
Thank you! I wish more people used cruelty-free!!!
What is the point of putting oil under your eyes, it's not meant for that
Oil doesn't hydrate, otherwise we would be drinking oil when thirsty
Oil?
Applicator is not hygienic
You kinda look like Victoria from how i met your mother
You look like alyssa milano
Oil under the eye….NOPE
Viral?
But it's really old
U didn't show final result.whats the point of this video
Why would pepole call it pink when it's litteraly my skin color..
The only thing I can say is all this face cream don’t do nothing when you reach a certain age, it’s like you never even tried, boy am I pissed
My sister stole one of those from a store when she was 14 💀
Was this just an ad for Elemis?
What's the point of trying out a concealer if you don't have anything to conceale
She seems Like “miss know ít áll” 😂
Yet she has no clue what she's doing 😂
These burn the shit out of my eyes
"the sponge will apply too much product"....
Proceeds to apply ten layers of other gunk....
Oil before ??? Noooo
How can you do half a drop a drop is a drop no matter what size it is.

You've got a lovely nose so jealous
I wish I could afford the elimis eye mask. #elemis make a mini so we can all try it. 85 is a lot of dollars
