one trick you can do on animations is render each freame in a different computer. eg: one computer render frames 1 to 10 while the other render 11 to 20, you can even put the final result on a network and inform blender to create the file as soon as it start rendering but not replace existing files, with that setup you can put both machines to render from frame 1, but the second machine will realize another machine is already rendering the first frame so it will start from the second, and as soon as one machine finishes it will see what is the next non existing frame and render it. this setupt is especially usefull because you dont know how much time it will take to render each frame, but it dont matter because as soon as one frame is finished the other will start automatically, unlike in an scenario where you put one machine to render say, from 1 to 10 and the second from 11 to 20, this other scenario would be very bad if the first 10 frames are faster to render but the 11 to 20 are slow (or the opposite)

The junk blender scene is too big for the 3080 2. For the single work station, did you have all four cables connected to the workstation's host card?(Does that matter?)
Happy to hear that! 1) yes 10gb is enough for most GPU rendering, you can address Ram limitations when your skill reach the level you are creating scene that require more ram. 2) yes i did test 4 cables and also 2 cables to see if there was a performance reduction. It we about the same results for the basic benchmark testing i did. But in theory, there should be a reduction for complex scenes when using just two cables.

You will have to connect with H3 directly for pricing.
Thanks for watching
@@MediamanStudioServices So in other words, bloody expen$ive. Nothing turns me off from a product more than a company that doesn't list their prices.
Hi, I appreciate your video. Will you gonna test a 1 minutes of 3D animation video for rendering in same way?
dude i bought one of these, and it flew out my window! at 100% load.
lol its a plane on your room
Make a video on 4090 graphic card
Cries in Intel iGPU
what kind of monster PSU did you use in this computer? assuming that all 4 graphic cards were drawing maximum power of 450W, that means a PSU of at least 1.8kW(!) to function at full power draw.
it has dual 2kW PSU
@@MediamanStudioServices Jesus!
Good god almighty...my lowly 1060 cowers at the sight of even one rtx3090....it just overclocked itself and disabled the fan when it saw 4 of them. RIP 1060.
hahahha thanks for watching, please share on your facebook.
God i wish that was me
Not even sure I'd like to have those cards with that fan noise.....
Ever heard of server fans? Think next time
@@stevenlevernier7357 he expecting to play games with it. hahahaha
@@nickcdrw LOL. Yeah these setups are for big boy things.
why does rendering take so long anyway?
thanks a very complicated question. maybe the render gods can explain.
thanks for watching
asking for a friend? :P
but seriously... just imagine that for each and every pixel of the image, the computer has to calculate millions of light bounces considering, refraction, reflection, translucency, color, indirect lighting, subsurface scattering, different light sources, geometry displacements, normal maps, and many other things on the fly. (and simulations, animation, rigs, and so on...) These renders use "real life math" to get realistic lighting... these are not light-baked game renders
@@AArmstrongC thanks for sharing your comments
@@AArmstrongC You're mostly right, it's however rarely more than 20 bounces, "millions" wouldnt render in a year.
holy shit. but then your breaking the bank just to get 4 gpu's and that chassis. But very cool
Blower style 3090s = awkwardly loud.
ya the turbo fan are loud at full speed.
don't you wanna change those noise fans on 120-140mm ones?
1. Can I do the same with a DGX A100 (DGX-OS/Ubuntu only) ? 2. is it using cuda cores or tensor cores or RTX cores ? 3. can I do the same with vray 5/cinema4D in windows 10 ?
yes you can use the DGX A100 but at a cost of about 199k USD. The render I did was on Win10 with redshift, but the H3 Chassis does not care what OS or software you are using, It is just an extension of your host computer with 4 GPU to use.
blender 4.02 15s with 3060ti :D 50' samples ; 128 sampels 24.6s :D
How much is the H3 Falcon 4205?
And where can I get one?
just look on amazon or something lol
