Not necessarily, the a380 has a three stage spool up until it reaches its takeoff thrust. The first spool up is to stabilizer the thrust as usual, the second goes to abt 78% n1, then the 3rd spool up is to the selected takeoff thrust. The a380 does sound amazing though!
The Trent 900s on the A380 have an area of the thrust curve that cannot be exceeded when aircraft speed is too low. Depending on the take-off thrust setting, this often results in two 'pauses' during spool up. The first is the pilots stabilising all 4 engines at ~30% thrust, the second pause is the FADEC protecting the engines by limiting thrust until sufficient speed is reached, before finally spooling up to the commanded thrust. It stems around fan blade flutter and prevents any disrupted airflow through the core.
Nothing beats the Concorde Olympus engines. The greatest jet roar ever! The 🇬🇧 lion roars and it was spine tingling

G-BOAB; never made it iside T5 as was originally planned during T5 construction; corroding away in the rain. Sad, with -AA in Scotland and -AC in Manchester, both under cover.

Once was on the tarmac at JFK Bound for LA and looked outside, there was Air France Concorde ready for takeoff, didn’t manage to film it though. Flew the A380 recently Manchester to Manilla and was smoothest plane I ever flew.
