I think Chantecaille products are really nice. I used the line more when Slyvie first brought it out. It seems to keep getting exponentially expensive every decade, to the point where the product value does not justify the cost. With the internet, we have access to products that we wouldn't have heard of twenty years ago, when most beauty products were discovered in the local department store, so we can compare cost and value. I love Rosewater, so I get organic handpicked rosewater from, Alteya, where I literally can get a half gallon of it for the same price as 6 ounces of the Chantecaille rosewater!!!
For the melanated beauties, I have a medium deep complexion and the rose tint looks beautiful on my complexion…more so than the bronze tint imo. If it wasn’t such a sheer product, it would not work for me because it would show a cast. But it works beautifully. It gives a sheer glow and the contrast helps it stand out a bit more.
I wait for this sale every year to stock up on the Future Skin Foundation which for me is my absolute favorite. On sale, I can justify the price. Light, unscented, glass skin-like - it is perfection. I haven't really liked the other products except for the concealer which is also fantastic. Thanks for the honest review!
My first purchase from Chantecaille was the cheetah pallette. I am really enjoying the formula and the shades. I just ordered the gel foundation so I'm anxious for it to arrive. I did order the stick eye shadow base, but was not impressed at all. Seemed very drying appearance on eyelids. I would love to try the body cream with retinol, but just can't see spending that kind of money. But, when you mentioned scaley legs, I am so tempted. Thank you for the review. Really enjoyed.
I agree with you on this brand. I love the Future Skin and the Skin Tint. I wear Alabaster in winter and Vanilla in summer. I also use the Rose Face Tint and mix it with the Bronze Face Tint for a summer look. I've seen some people use it as a primer, but that's too greasy for me. As for anti-aging skin care, unless something happens to your skin, like too much exposure to sun and wind, or a serious illness, you probably won't see much benefit in that type of skin care until some time in your 40s or 50s. So you really can't test those products. They fix things you simply don't need fixed. So, for you, no results. That's a good problem to have. I miss it. I spend a lot of money on products to repair damage and retard aging. They help a lot, and my face looks very different when I don't use them. Enjoy your mid 30s. It's a great time of life. Old enough to get respect in the office, but young enough that you are still hot and look cute by doing practically nothing. Thanks for the video. Happy Thanksgiving!💚
Great overview. I really hope Chantecaille expands their shade range 😕the lightest shade in the gel foundation looks so dark muddy on me it makes me look tired and off. I wish I could use it...
Thank you for calling the prices on those products and information on what's worth to consider. There is nothing to justify the price tag on rose water. All rose petals are hand picked, daa. And most of those come from France Grasse region because it is known for top class raw product. Plus, there isn't a cream or serum in the world that will stop aging. It is better to spend that money on quality nutrition which your skin will thank you for. I may try the foundation or the bronzer but not the skincare even though I am a target market for this brand and I have the budget for it. Great video as always❤
I take advantage of the Chantecaille sales to stock up on the rose face tint and the gel foundation because I LOVE them. This time, I’ll try the gold fact tint…but that’s really it. I, too, was underwhelmed by the biolifting line. There are so many terrific and effective skincare lines out there now that I’m not really tempted to drop that much cash on products that don’t really change the game for me. Thank you for your takes!
Great video. Tried few products from Chantecaille. Not my favorite and pricy for what they are. I do like the gel foundation but not really like the packaging in the pot. Monaco is a good eye shadow shade too. Considering the price and other options of luxury make up, chantecaille is not an immediate repurchase.
Thank you!! Always appreciate your honesty, both for your loves and for the things not worth $$ but then also balancing it with why you think so, or who it might be good for. Thanks for this :)
Hello Sofia, I hope you enjoyed your visit to Paris (my city) despite the bad weather. As for skincare products whose claim is clarity, perhaps we shouldn't expect a visual effect on skin surface but a longer-term effect on skin cells, therefore coming from within. For the brands I work with, the ingredients in products similar to the one you mentioned at Chantecaille act on melanocytes, regulating melanin production. This is where the promise of clarity comes from. That is why they should be applied before moisturizer, not after, and above all finishing our skincare routine with an SPF. This is a long-term action. Combined with immediate illuminating make-up products, it's even better. Perhaps in the case of this Chantecaille product, it was the same principle. May you have seen improvement in potential sun spots after 3 or 4 weeks (cell cycle)? Love from "Surfing Family in Paris"
Hi Sofia, I love, I mean LOVE the Future Skin Foundation. I think it’s an unique formula, very light texture, blurring effect, no bad reaction (my skin is very reactive, prone to breakouts to many skincare/complexion products), natural perfected look and no fragrance (I don’t know other luxury foundations without fragrance). I’ll be devastated if this foundation will disappear. I like the blur powder as well but not more than Sisley Phyto Poudre Compact. You didn’t mention anything about their makeup brushes. I really like the buff & blur brush (regular and mini size) and I use it daily for setting powder. The blush brush is good as well. And I have a lot of fude brushes plus tones of Rae Morris brushes. In my opinion the Buffer Pro from Sonia G. is good for finishing powder and Buff&Blur from Chantecaille is (very) good for setting powder (pressed powder). Their lip products are very nice and good for dry lips. I bought the mascara and I returned next days because I could stand with the very strong smell plus panda eyes “bonus” 😁. Thanks for sharing!🙂
Loved this honest video, dear Sofia, thank you!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩Not allowed on that Chantecaille website, living in The Netherlands, Europe, so, from here, i do not support animals, but it's my favorite brand, no matter how bad the customer service is, they never reply. I love most of their skincare and their makeup. I always mix and match with Barbara Sturm skincare, La Mer, and a bit Bio Effect from Iceland, their power cream i love as well. But about this video, you're always so clear and honest, thanks! And you're young maybe for this type of skincare, could be true. Born in 1970 here, no designer type of person, but love to see it on you! But late here, what did i want to say, well: more is more, for me, when it comes to skincare. So i love all Chantecaille serums, cannot help it 😂That gold mask is also sooo good! Take it off? No, leave it on during the night, Sofia, and it mixes perfect with their oil, or whatever oil! But when i was younger? I used decades Clinique, Clinique and Clinique, until it became to dry for my skin. It's without fragrance but still has alchohol. And when very young, teenager, i used Yves Rocher, it was perfect! Thanks, Sofia, enjoy your Thanksgiving there!!!❤
Excellent video, Sofia. Thank you! I just ordered the future skin gel foundation using your code, and look forward to trying it. For viewers who are tempted by the body retinol but find the price tag off-putting, I highly recommend the Gold Bond Age Renew Retinol Overnight Body & Face Lotion. It's not a luxury product, but is highly effective.
Thank you, will try for my extremely dry legs. Any advise you can give on shades for the Future foundation I want to try, I am fair to light a bit warm but cool-pink undertone. Thanks.
I haven’t tried their skin care because I guess I was afraid I would love it and hated to spend the money on an ongoing basis. I have the foundation, the rose and gold face tints, love the mascara (sorry, but have had issues). There may be other comparable products, but haven’t embarked on the journey. I agree with you about the single shadows, but do love the Cheetah and Sea Turtle trios. You didn’t mention their lip gloss, which is what got me started on Chantecaille in the first place. I play the flute and am really picky about lip gloss. This is very hydrating, but not sticky at all. That is what I just picked up more of in the sale. Oh! That bronzer is something I use every day - the color just seems to be right for my skin tone. Thanks for the review, Sofia, and thanks for taking us to Paris this weekend!
I've become a big fan of Chantecaille's makeup....at 65, I like their eyeshadows, eyeliners and lip veils & chics. I've tried some of their skincare, but I'm going back to some less expensive, but still good Clairins & Shiseido products. I'm curious about the Gilded Garden Lip Cristals, which are already sold out.
I LOVE Chantecaille. Their products make you look effortlessly elegant. I also love their bronzer the formula is the absolute best. I just wish they’d come out with a color for fair skin tones-something light and maybe with a pinky undertone ala Gucci Fair bronzer. I was hoping Sunstone would be that but it was too warm on me 😅.
It’s so funny because I resisted buying the cheetah trio as well for a long time… just thought it was a basic color story and could not bring myself to spend that much. I did eventually give in when I had a discount. And it was worth it… I love the everyday looks you can get from it. Same with garden collection, I purchased the cassis duo which was a different color which I don’t usually care for reddish-burgundy tones but that shimmer shade is gorgeous! I love both face tints and so appreciate your take on the gold. Now that mustang eyeshadow is calling me… I’m trying to resist as I think I’m looking at Lisa Eldridge eyeshadows, palettes and liquid eyeshadows to try. Love your thoughts on this. Great video!
Mustang eyeshadow is one of my favorites in the entire collection, absolutely stunning!! I have new Jasmine duo as well. I like it because it is quick and easy, but I wish the shimmer shade was less chunky and more smooth in texture like Mustang is. Almost 40k Sophia 👏💕
this video literally came in the perfect moment in my life, love you

I love the Future Skin and the bronzer! The rose face tint has been on my wishlist and I might pick it up in the sale. Hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving!
Thanks for this video! I purchased the gel foundation based on your recommendation earlier this year, and i love it! I was thinking about picking up the new gold tint, but since i have the dior star filter, i'll pass. I agree with you on the powder blushes; they are nothing special and not worth the price. Really do appreciate your videos!
Thank you Sofia:) I have been thinking about buying the rose gold cream, but then the gold came out (I already have the bronzer and I feel it's too dark on my light olive skin tone).. and I haven't been able to find any swatches where I could really see the difference but I definitely could tell when you did the side by side.. so thank you!!😊 And I totally agree about the packaging.. some of them drive me absolutely nuts because they stick together if stacked on top of each other (like the small eyeshadow quad's packaging and some of the highlighter/bronzers). Great video:)❤
@ it was very helpful! Thank you!! I always check out your channel before I buy anything now because I know you'll have swatches and you go over all the pertinent information I need. You da best;)🥰
I really like Chantecaille. As a fair person the fact they are actually natural I find them so classy. Big fan of the Just Skin tinted moisturiser. I did not like the mascara either. I bought it for my wedding day to justify the splurge and found it flaked. I did not use it and threw it away. I love their blushes with shimmer in. I previously really liked their butterfly blush but have found Suqqu has really come in with diverse shade ranges for very fair people. Better for cool tone leaning skin too. If I had the money to splurge I woukd get the jasmine face mask. Its the only one I've tried but is lovely and hydrating so perfect for my dry skin in winter.
Always love your videos thank you gorgeous have one question what do you think about mixing the new gold skin tint with the bronze skin tint to lighten it up a little bit. B
Totally agree w you on the Biolifting Serum and some of the skincare..overhyped..didn't work for me and I'm a mature viewer w normalish skin.😂 Ty Sofia! Looking to a few lip products and the bronzer? And gold highlighter...thoughts?
The blur powder is really nice too. I have had a sample of the gold mask and I agree with you, it is really good. I’m not buying it though. LOL. The illuminating serum is another thing I had a sample of, but I like the charlotte tilbury serum the best of anything I have tried (which is odd because it is from a makeup brand), and you can get the supersize one of that for less money. It has a super subtle pearly effect like the magic cream does.
Lip veils are my favorite, rosé de mai cream and glowy rose tint , Jasmin mask are favorite skin care. Primer with spf 45 is also good but at first looks a bit greasy.

Sofia, you hit a lot of my faves like the gel foundation, bronzer, lippies, the gold mask. I love hearing your fails. Even though I do I have some of the single animal shadows & blushes I do agree they are very expensive for the little product and most of the time you are just purchasing because of the packaging. I do agree with one of your subscribers you are too young to see any benefit of the bio lifting serum which you should be so lucky 😆. I do see some benefit with the bio lifting serum but I have not tried the 24k Gold serum. I do like some of their products. I think they are expensive so when they have a sale that’s when I stock up. Thank you for the video!! 😊❤️
Hi Sofia! How does the sunstone bronzer compare to the RMS bronzers? I have Beachwalk Betty and Bikini Beach. Just want to make sure I don’t buy the sunstone bronzer and it ends up being super similar to the RMS ones. Thanks for the great video as always!
I own wayyyy too much Chantecaille. LOL My holy grail Chantecaille products that I reach for regularly are the Rose Face Tint and the gel foundation in Alabaster. 🙂
I want to order those 2 as well, any help with the shades? i am thinking Alabaster or Camomile. I am fair to light with cool-pinkish undertone. Can't do anything that pulls yellow or peach. Thank you in advance.
Hi!! Is the tan lines bronzer from rms too similar to sirena from chantecaille? I have sirena so dont know if it will be too similar to tan lines to justify the purchase. Thanks!
I have bought Chantecaille products regularly. The foundation, the Rose and Bronze face cream, the Lip Veil and Lip Chic and especially their holiday collection of lipsticks with a faint sparkle so much better than the Dior ones and some of the eye palettes: the gorgeous Giraffe 4 pan and last years holiday Precious Metals was stunning. However their skin care is eye watering expensive and I have not bought any of those products. 🙋♀️🇬🇧
@sofia I have the Chantecaille Future Skin Foundation. I was curious since it has the jar container which is different from most other foundations that I have. Have you noticed it expires any quicker than a more typical foundation containers which only have a small opening for product to be dispensed. How long have the ones that you've had lasted for. I'm asking these questions because I have an older Lauder Double Wear Foundation that someone accidentally sold me the maximum coverage (I was trying to buy Double Wear Light) so I've been dickering with that one with the Chanel Les Beiges primers to make it less like a death mask. I had originally thought I would have to toss the Lauder foundation so I bought a Chanel Foundation and the Chantecaille Future Skin earlier this year. In the meantime, I've been finding foundation alternatives instead of wearing foundation much at all. I'm just trying to figure out if I should think about rearranging my priorities for foundation use next year, especially since for the most part I'll only be in person at work once a week.
Hello! I would like to pick up a Chantecaille foundation or two to try. Do you find you’re the same shade in both the Future Skin Gel Foundation and their Tinted Moisturizer? I live in a small town, nowhere near a chantecaille counter, and have the worst luck picking shade matches online (in general). Findation is really hit or miss for me.
In my experience, the skin tint runs a bit warmer. I’m shade Vanilla in Future Skin Gel foundation, but Alabaster in Just Skin. Maybe try the chat feature on their website and see if they can assist.
@@safrica229 Thank you for your experience with the formula shade differences. I didn't notice the chat feature option but I'll give it a try today. I appreciate the suggestion! ☺
We need more people like this telling us truth! Just finished reading 'The Skin Radiance Recipe' by Mrs. D. Its fascinating what they hide from society.
To me Chantecaille really faded. The only products I like are both rose and bronze tints and Jasmine camomile mask. That mask is amazing and only the one who helps to heal faster after overdoing with actives .
I like Chantecaille and I don’t know that the extra cost is always worth it. I like to spend the money on the makeup. I only allow myself one bougie mascara a year.
I highly disagree about the Cleansing Milk review. I have hashimotos and dealing with super dry hair, skin due to recent diagnosis. I splurged on this product and saved my Skin,I swear by it ! I have not repurchased it ,however if in a crisis again,I know this will do the trick. I did try drugstore whatever other products, nothing worked .
I think Chantecaille is expensive for what it is. Many of their makeups are made in Korea. I’m not saying Korea is not good but it is cheaper to produce in Korea
I think Chantecaille products are really nice. I used the line more when Slyvie first brought it out. You are 100% spot-on with the Lip Chics and Lip Veils. I have very dry, mature lips, and Chantecaille is hydrating and does not accentuate fine lines.
Thanks for sharing this, now I feel more confident about trying this as I have mature lips too and the lines are frustrating.

Now that mustang eyeshadow is calling me… I’m trying to resist as I think I’m looking at Lisa Eldridge eyeshadows, palettes and liquid eyeshadows to try. Love your thoughts on this.
Great video!
Your makeup is very pretty today. 😊
Excellent review. I think I feel very similarly, on many of the products. But as a whole, yeah it's a lovely line.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Thanks for this video. Always appreciate your take on makeup. Hope you have a lovely Thanksgiving 🙂
Thank you for watching! 😊 Happy Thanksgiving!
This videos is so good ❤❤❤
Thanks for this video! I purchased the gel foundation based on your recommendation earlier this year, and i love it! I was thinking about picking up the new gold tint, but since i have the dior star filter, i'll pass. I agree with you on the powder blushes; they are nothing special and not worth the price. Really do appreciate your videos!
Thank you for the code. I just bought the rose sheer glow as mine is almost gone. 😊
I love that Cheetah palette! It’s prettier than it looks I thought 😃
So glad it was helpful!
@ it was very helpful! Thank you!! I always check out your channel before I buy anything now because I know you'll have swatches and you go over all the pertinent information I need. You da best;)🥰
Just bought the mascara on the Black Friday sale
I adore the Luminescent Eye Shades! I have every single one except for Rhino. They are pricey, but worth it for me as a single shadow 😅
Beautiful video
Thank you for your honesty
Always 😇
Nice review
Nice rec!
Really nice video
Lip veils are my favorite, rosé de mai cream and glowy rose tint , Jasmin mask are favorite skin care. Primer with spf 45 is also good but at first looks a bit greasy.
Ooo I like the Jasmine mask!

Beautiful ❤❤
Excellent product

Nice Review
Nice review keep it up baby
Wonderful ✨
Beautiful 😊🎉
Hi Sofia! How does the sunstone bronzer compare to the RMS bronzers? I have Beachwalk Betty and Bikini Beach. Just want to make sure I don’t buy the sunstone bronzer and it ends up being super similar to the RMS ones. Thanks for the great video as always!
Amazing 😍
Good job
for all girls that love skin care, reading 'The Skin Radiance Recipe' is a must
Never heard of this brand until today!
good Cosmetic... 💓💓💓
Awesome 👍🏻
Best and best
Just looking like a wow

Beautiful perfume
Thanks!
Nice product
I have bought Chantecaille products regularly. The foundation, the Rose and Bronze face cream, the Lip Veil and Lip Chic and especially their holiday collection of lipsticks with a faint sparkle so much better than the Dior ones and some of the eye palettes: the gorgeous Giraffe 4 pan and last years holiday Precious Metals was stunning. However their skin care is eye watering expensive and I have not bought any of those products. 🙋♀️🇬🇧
Thanks for sharing!!
Good
Wow beautiful 😊
Beautiful
As a dry eczema prone person, I personally find their makeup to be worth it.
Wonderful
Good products
Very nice
the biggest game changer for me was reading 'The Skin Radiance Recipe' by Mrs. D
I have cool coloring and I like the green "tiger" eye shadow but the price still bothers me. The price was too high.
Future Skin Vanilla!
nice🤩
We need more people like this telling us truth! Just finished reading 'The Skin Radiance Recipe' by Mrs. D. Its fascinating what they hide from society.
To me Chantecaille really faded. The only products I like are both rose and bronze tints and Jasmine camomile mask. That mask is amazing and only the one who helps to heal faster after overdoing with actives .
Hello
❤❤❤
Nice
💜💜💖
😍😍😍
its hard to put into words, but the book The Skin Radiance Recipe by Mrs. D transformed my skin literally
💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
I like Chantecaille and I don’t know that the extra cost is always worth it. I like to spend the money on the makeup. I only allow myself one bougie mascara a year.
nice
I highly disagree about the Cleansing Milk review. I have hashimotos and dealing with super dry hair, skin due to recent diagnosis. I splurged on this product and saved my Skin,I swear by it ! I have not repurchased it ,however if in a crisis again,I know this will do the trick. I did try drugstore whatever other products, nothing worked .
So beautiful 😂
Awesome ❤
wesome
👍👍❤️❤️
Woww
Wow
I think Chantecaille is expensive for what it is. Many of their makeups are made in Korea. I’m not saying Korea is not good but it is cheaper to produce in Korea
