I took the photo at the 41:07 mark, there is no sky replacement in the photo and in the foreground is just blowing snow, it was a really windy day and a qucik snapshoot turned out to be one of my favorite picture of the year. I’ll be sure to leave a comment to all my submitions from now on, sorry about that.
Hey guys! I’m very honored to have my photo selected! I had the one with the motion blur waves. I should’ve put more info in the description. I thought you’d be able to see the meta data. My shutter speed was around 1/6 second. F/22. I just waited for a set of waves to come in and panned with them from atop the pier and released the shutter when the waves were perpendicular to me. The only thing I did in photo shop was some dodge and burning. Just standard edits and color grading in LR. Finished it off in color effects pro to add some more contrast. Trust me. I’m not good enough at PS to fake this 😂 I love that y’all thought I did though!
i took the shot at 42:30 at the lighthouse. Some answers about what Lee and Patrick said. The lighthouse is battered with strong swells around 3 to 5 times a year (meaning, only on really big stormy swells). The Ocean breaks in a peer that is about 8 feat ahead of the lighthouse, so most of it doesn't hit the lighthouse directly. It is indeed a cloud on top and not the horizon line or Chem trails (hehe). The horizon line is a bit lower than where i took the shot from, and you can't see it because the wave is crashing way higher. Thanks for the selection. Cheers guys.
19:10 on her forehead I’ve seen shows where they put something under the skin in order to create shapes and I think a ring ⭕️ shape was one of the ones that they showed. I don’t know the exact name of it but it’s a body modification.
This is just the one data point, but I love Patrick's image. It has a "fashion" feel, it has character. Lee's work is usually much less inspired and I don't think he's in a place to say whether it should be seen or not.
Yeah, lee is pretty robotic in his photography. It's not a masterpiece photo but it does get your attention. Patrick has always come off more artistic than Lee.
18:00 - Come on guys.. have you never tried panning on live action? The goal is to get a sharp part of the image (like a race car or something, and blur elsewhere). Also, you really know that little about TVs?! :) OLED burns in, yes. There's other stuff out there too tho.
Who's Tyler ...... come on Patrick, pay attention 😝😂😂😂. Putting tape on your sensor to pull off dust, are you fricken crazy Lee, are you a few french fries short of a McHappy Meal, what is wrong with you 🤣🤣🤣 you know I joke!

The 15min mark photo is just amazing. Blurs the line between painting and photograph.
Wish you guys would give a heads up as to when you're going to go live with these, it'd be fun to watch it live.
You gotta subscribe and hit the notification bell! -P
@@fstopperslive6318 Lol, I've done that! But I meant a post on the contest page about the date you'll be doing the critique.
Love the photo of the cicada😍

"You know you are high, but are going down"
Must have been a bad trip. Stay off jamaican mushrooms, which is a good competition. Best mushroom photo.

The 27:00 minute shot.. has an absolutely horrible sky replacement, how do you give that a 3/4 star?
Reviewing 2 composites from one person in a contest that is called "your best photo from 2022". Cool.
That standing on a box photo is awful.
