Why was the monkey @ 3:30 trying to mark her with her own scent just to abandon her like literally 20 seconds later? Monkeys usually only act like this to an infant if it's from a different troop or it's royalty within their own. She looks too skinny to be the daughter of an Alpha but that's how they are acting.

Monkeys do not smell scents. They are primates, they do not have good senses of smell it's their worst of their senses. They are just like humans. That's like saying a human mother didn't want her baby anymore because the babysitter held her and got her scent on the baby like no. It doesn't work that way they aren't dogs or birds
