@BigMexico993 The drums are supplementation. There is music already playing, and the instruments they're using add extra depth to the song. Gives it a bit more OOMPH. ;)
You've clearly never been to a show where a DJ uses Ableton Live and an APC40 pad or anything similar. Look it up. It's VERY possible to play electronic music live. Glitch Mob has their style, Pretty Lights has theirs, Big Gigantic has theirs,... Thinking Electronic Music can't be played live is like thinking that the world is flat.
The instruments are there so they don't just hit a fucking play button and stand there doing nothing because if they did what would be the point of going to their live shows? I wondered how these guys were live and it's fucking impressive if they use instruments to make all or most of those sounds up there. @JoshuaBoyle
I don't understand what they are doing. It really doesn't seem like what they do on the drum things has any effect on the music, sometimes I hear beats when they don't hit them and sometimes there aren't any beats when they do hit them.
Is it just me or does anyone else feel like they're watching the backstreet boys with neato samplers/electronics? This is just cheezy coming at it from an artistic perspective imo.
I sort of see what you mean. Some cool music. but what is with the instruments. theres no need. plus they look gay live. electronic music doesn't work when its played track by track.
When I first heard Animus Vox, I wondered to myself how they would perform that kind of music live. Now I know! XD
Definitely the most unique way of making music I've seen lately!
they are the best electronic group of all time
Gosh, how I wanna be there right NOW.
FIGHTING GRAVITYYY + THE GLITCH MOB = DOPEE!!!!!!!
Excellent.

you are right they do everything live
The Glitch Mob makes the angel's scream and the devil's cry ;)
Always reminds me of the "How it's made" TV show intro song...
@gerben050291 Go to 3:07 and notice how he misses a beat on the lemur and it isn't played. It's not fake.
Music is always better when played live
@KareemElgindy it's an iPad with jazzlemur mutant :)
Guy on the left has an MPD24, older version of the 26
No, they have the old Lemurs, the original hardware ones.

Yeah, I noticed it after my post and I forgot to change my comment :)
Beyond Right Now (Remixed by The Glitch Mob)
I Want that Drumpad.
what i dont get is, i searched lyrics, and theres apparently lyrics for this song.
Whats the last song
Does anyone know the song that starts at 4:48?
@gerben050291 How is it a fake?
They play almost every sound live, they play the lemur live, the drums live, the midi pads live
lol at 2:28, listen for the weird scream
"techno" is the term for people who have no idea what they are talking about to describe every genre of EDM.
Except they do? This setup isn't even that crazy. Orbital takes their entire studio up on stage.
I feel like techno music isn't really the type of music you go out to see as a concert. I feel like its more of music you go clubbing to.
What kind of tablets are those?
They used Lemur back then. They're touring with a very different setup now.

@Hotsaucerobface
i guess its pretty much all "fake", but i dont blame them,
you cant really "play" electronic music "live"
