    J.S. Bachs music always feels so devotional, a glory to God. That is the mood you set with your playing

    • @lachi1905
      @lachi1905  8 місяців тому +2

      Yes, he himself wrote that "the final cause of all music [...] should be nothing more than just the glory of God and recreation of the mind". And I'm very glad that, despite me being atheist, this foundamental aspect of his music came through

    I want to thank everybody who takes the time to write something about my playing and Bach's music. Most of the comments are really touching and show a deep understanding of feelings, phrasing and style; some of them, like the one of Bert Carter, touch levels of communication that are maybe possible to be reached only through music. My most sincere thanks to you all for your sensitivity!

    I'm glad you like it! .the problem of "being authentic" is pretty complicated, here just a few lines:
    You shoundn't make the mistake (as many do) of considering the authenticity of the instrument as relevant, forgetting what the word itself - "instrument" - means: something we use to reach a goal - and not the goal itself (when you eat you don't enjoy the fork, don't you? You serch for the cutlery which is more suitable to your meal, but you still enjoy the food...).
    It's a matter of style.

    The UA-cam algorithm appeared to recommend the personification of perfection this evening. I am no musical expert, but sir, your playing was so moving. Your fingers gracefully fluttered across and plucked the instrument with such elegant poise and assurance. The sound you created from this lute, written by Bach, was such a wonderfully nuanced experience. Grazie signore.

    I asked Oscar Castro-Neves to watch/listen to this, and now he's acquired the Koonce transcriptions of the lute suites for guitar, having been completely taken by Maestro Contini's performance. I was first acquainted with BWV998 through the Koonce edition and now I return to it, inspired by the tears brought by these performances.

    La música es maravillosa,
    He comenzado escuchando una sesión sencilla de John Hopkins en una Boling Room, luego Squarepusher ha hecho un poco el indio a lo drum&bass con cuatro trastos añejos en el cuarto de su casa, me pongo a escuchar unas grabaciones maravillosas de Anton Webern, me entra el gusanillo y decido buscar algo de serialismo para guitarra, escucho a Leo Brouwer, y acabo encontrándome con La Fuga, la cual toqué mediocremente hará como 20 años, y que ahora a duras penas logro recordar. Y este señor lo borda...
    Y nuevamente me enamoro perdidamente de la musica...

    Superbe! Le son du luth est beaucoup plus ténu que la guitare, mais plus émotionnel, et là on ressent vraiment ce que JS Bach a voulu composer pour le luth!
    Et Monsieur l'interprète est génial !!! Je suis admiratif !!!

    • @frenchiecocorico1
      @frenchiecocorico1 10 років тому +1

      Il n'est pas prouvé que J.S Bach ait réellement composé pour le Luth car:
      1°) L'intitulé des pièces est "auf den Lautenwerke" ce qui signifie "pour un instrument fonctionnant comme le luth".
      2°) Les tonalités utilisées par Bach pour ses "pièces de Luth", sont pour la plupart impraticables sur l'instrument de l'époque (Luth baroque à 14 choeurs)
      3°) Les partitions originales de ces pièces sont écrites sur une double portée de type clavier avec clés de Sol2 et Fa4 (voir les originaux sur IMSLP).
      En tenant compte de toutes ces données, les spécialistes en sont arrivés à penser que Bach ne savait pas jouer de Luth et qu'en tant que claviériste virtuose, il les avait composées en réalité pour le Clavecin-Luth (d'où le terme de Lautenwerke), instrument qu'on trouve aussi dans l'inventaire de ses biens après sa mort.

      Bonjour et surtout grand merci à vous pour votre commentaire éclairé; je m'aperçois qu'en prenant de l'âge j'apprécie de plus en plus la musique de J.S. Bach, que je trouve intemporelle et tellement riche et diverse, mais je suis assez inculte en histoire de la musique et donc vos remarques tombent à pic, merci également de m'avoir indiquer IMSLP que je ne connaissais pas.
