i'm 51 and like a lot of older people, I haven't stayed up to date with music nowadays. however, I've become a big fan of joey bada$$. tracks like 'Norwegian breakfast' and 'Trap Door' really take me back to this era of rap, and 'Christ Conscious' is just one of the best tracks I've ever heard.
