Cannot thank you enough for uploading this game!! Gibbs 2.0 games have been incredibly tough to find! This game takes me back to my senior year of High School. The 2000's era was simply the best for the NFL.
I was a junior in HS during this particular season. Oh man the football was amazing at the time.
Same I was a junior in highschool as well. I remember right before the playoffs the colts gave up like 300 yards rushing to the jaguars. I remember thinking we had no chance to win in the playoffs. We ended up getting Bob Sanders back for the postseason, and our defense really stepped up I'll never forget how stoked I was when we finally beat the Patriot in the AFCG. I was so happy for Peyton to finally get a ring. He carried a lot of sorry teams to the playoffs..
Damn. We're making each other feel old as shit. I was 2 years into college for this season, and you're right. 2000s football was great! Actually, I'll say 2000-2012 was some of the best football. Just because my Ravens won a couple Super Bowls in that span...

34:25 the play where the neck issues began
That was a fucking _garbage_ move by Daniels. I don't care if the tackle was legal. You don't wrap your arm around a guy's neck to try to put him on his back as he is falling forward onto his knees. Carter had already gotten to Manning and was bringing him down. Daniels held on _way_ too long, too. No wonder Manning wound up with career threatening neck issues. Jesus.
How was that not roughing the passer is beyond me?!

These were some fun times. As a Colts fan during football season and an STL Cardinals fan in baseball, the World Series was on FOX right after this game (hence no Joe Buck) and there was no need to change the channel. Both my teams won it all that year. Fun times!

Little did anyone watching realize that this game would mark the beginning of the end for Peyton Manning as a Colt-although it took YEARS before the effects would be fully realized.

How TF can they call a Roughing the passer on that weak facemask touch by Freeney? THEN when Peyton Manning DAMN near gets decapitated and his carrer ended with a SAVAGE roughing the passer. And these Stupid refs don't call anything? . And why do I feel like it looks like football in the 70s, but its only 15 yrs old? 😅
