My wife and I really enjoyed watching your work on your mobile home, I remember all that work when we lived in a noble home and all the work that it takes to keep them up, your little family is so precious, may the lord truly bless you all
I love the soap I ordered from y’all!! My husband is so picky about his soaps and he absolutely loves the apple and sage! He said it’s the best soap he’s ever used! It’s a winner and will be ordering more very soon 🧼
Sam, you're such a cutie patootie. To publicly say that what's yours is also your sweet, dear, fantastic, fabulous, beautiful, caring, smart and I can go on and on, wife just made me appreciate you more ❤. I think you and Angela make a great partnership. Your feral children sure are the cutest boys.
I'm so glad y'all found the bare wire and fixed it. Electrical fires are scary. On a lighter note, I love when you speed up your video while using tools. The hammering at high speed makes me laugh.
I dropped it while putting the cover on and NO ONE can find it since! Going to have to get more next time we're at the store. Sheesh.. like it evaporated here. :-\
I gave thanks to God for keeping you and the family safe, and for showing you the faulty wire. May God continue to bless you and your family 🙏❤️.. you both did a great job with the electrical and installation. ,👍👍
With your new roof and all the new wall insulation in the bath/boys room/entry I would imagine the efficiency has much improved as well as overall sound dampening. Can't wait to see the finished product!
May not have been fun, but proved to be more than necessary! Proof that you were wise to check out ALL electrical as you reno each section of the house. Kudos❗👌🙂 At the beginning, when Sam is deciding whether to put the gang box on the right stud or the left stud... Count how many times he says the word "right". 🤔 Sam, the winning count guess should get a prize I think❗🤔🤣
Our old mobile home in Delaware was a 1979 Burlington. The electric bill was never under $200 and we heated with a wood stove. I remodeled the kitchen and found the wires to the dishwasher were arcing on the metal on the dishwasher. The place was a moldy nightmare lol. We moved to north western North Carolina last July and our electric bill has never been over $130. 16 acres and a view of the Blue Ridge Parkway was all worth the wait. Y'all make some great videos thanks for sharing and stay safe.
Amazing the rats nest of wiring, one hot wire and jumpers to each switch. The fun part is tracing where each wire goes. Looks great. Nice to see it fixed right easier to sleep at night.
So glad you found the wiring before there was a fire. I was in my in-laws mobile home when it caught fire. No fun. They were able to stop it before any big damaged. She lived in it for another 10 years after it.
Would you mind having a before and after of the door and wall of your living room? We would love to see that if it is not too much trouble. Great work you guys!
Just kind of a look back at the whole side there of that side of the living room with the original wall and door and then a look at the new wall and door finished. Like a flash back look of before and then after when you have it complete. You have been doing such a great job and you are going to have a real sturdy, safe and well made home after you are done. We enjoy watching your videos so much and getting to know your family through your every day life events. Thanks so very much for sharing, it really means a lot. I know it is a lot of work behind the scenes for you to do and we really appreciate it. Great work.
Hi Sam & Angela,I am so glad that wire did not cause a fire!A miracle for sure.I must say you live in the most beautiful area.Beautiful property!Have a wonderful tomorrow!Your channel is awesome 👏☺️👍
Great work on that box rewire. Would love to see more of what you used to do that..... the various "connectors" you used. I've not seen those before. Really joy your channel.
I have the same light switch set up at my front door. And my wife wants you switch’s put on and I cringe every time I look at it. I really enjoy you all’s videos. You have such knowledge about things that I wished I had. And your wife is such a great helper. I also like how are you in love your children and working with y’all.
Our house was built in 1984, and we have discovered the ran one wire from the kitchen to the living room, and connected each outlet and light switch that way. I guess they were trying to save space on the breaker box.
You guys are doing such a great job with the home and videos, not only are they very informative, but you two are so entertaining. God bless. Stay safe.
Omg!!! I completely understand. We had some switches that weren't working at all and ended up opening the wall and found the same exact things, only we also had bare wire not boxed up. It has made me a bit paranoid of what's going on between the walls even more.
I’m glad you found this, I found several ground issues in our trailer, one the ground was snipped back and not attached to anything, which was done at the manufacture over 50 yrs ago, it a good idea to hire a professional to go through and check on these older homes. Thanks Chuck
Big thing about electrical boxes is to bump it out to the thickness of the drywall going in. I found this out the hard way since I've never done this before. Won't make that mistake again. It's amazing what mobile and modular home builders get away with. Paneling is incredibly flammable. Add boxes not attached to the wall and wires not stapled, plus them using the quick connects in the back of the outlets is a recipe for DISASTER. As far as that wire goes, that looks cut to me, it's very smooth. I spent 3k on getting the main feed box, wiring and service panel (and a couple other things) replaced and it really paid off. I was only getting half my feed. Funny how the hot water is hotter now. Up to date breakers plus a built in surge protector. Yeah, baby!
i am glad that i was not the only one to buy a fixer uper mobile home and find hidden surprizes behind the walls.we could also mof having a fire with bare wires that we foung
I was just on Amazon to order some WAGO nuts when I remembered you might have a link. I just ordered some through your link to give you some pennies. I'm installing a light in a crowded junction box and they will be handy. There will arrive tomorrow. If you are looking for content I would love to hear how you found your property and your home and what the moving and set up experience was like. I know you probably don't have videos of it. You have a beautiful view.
Thank God above you discovered that and Thank God above it was not a fire. The door looks amazing and the whole house is going to be a beautiful home when you both finish it all. No bloopers this time miss them but it okay .love the vlog an God bless.
Sam & Angela, For this application, I think you want ARC FAULT protection. I'm not a certified electrician but some people tell me that I am certifiable.
Love your videos. Such an inspiration to me. So many of the things you have done, I need to do to my own home. I wish I had your confidence and could just do it. Thanks and may God richly bless you and your family.
I'm hesitant to use Wago connections in follow-on circuits, I spend so much time replacing old "back-stabbed"to switches and outlets that are arcing and those used to meet Code. Not an electrician. But AFCI/GFCI circuit breakers are a great investment.
GOD WAS SURELY WATCHING OVER YOU AND YOUR FAMILY SAM AND ANGELA. GREAT JOB SAM AND ANGELA ON GETTING THE INSULATION IN AND THE ELECTRIC DONE. I LOOK FORWARD TO YOUR NEXT VIDEO. GOD BLESS Y'ALL
Love you guys. Our double wide is coming soon and its a mess. You give me hope that me and hubby can do all the work needed. Wow does it need work! 🤯😂 thank you for your videos.
Man, when you uncovered that gang of switches a few videos back, I remember thinking, "What a disaster, I'm glad I don't have to work on that." Sure looks nice now though. GFCI for the win. You only need one per circuit.
I'm so glad you discovered that wire before there was any trouble. You're good, Sam. I would have missed it. We have the old knob and tube electrical wiring in this house so when we put a new roof on we had an inspector come out to make sure everything was good before we buttoned it all up cuz we know nothing about wiring.
It is scary when you discover you have been living with something electrical that is faulty, I had luckily had new breakers put in the year before but I was told that the plug socket [ the one I use for my kettle ] would have given me a severe electrical shock. Think of the breakers like your roof no point in doing everything in side if the rain comes in. Good luck
Great job, you guys make it look so easy! I’m amazed at how well you get along during these projects lol My husband gets annoyed because I don’t know what he is talking about so it takes me a minute to figure it out lol
My husband said it is rodents that did that. He is an electrician and electrical inspector. He said put AFCI/GFCI combo breakers in to protect your 110 circuits.
Sam that’s mice chewing on your wiring I found same thing including dead mouse electrocuted inside wall if you look in cavity where wires come up or down inside cavity you will find more of same thing I found entire sections that had to be replaced it’s like they were attracted to the magnetic field or just super hungry, I decided to pull all panels down replace insulation and spray foam any holes that allowed excess to the next cavity and oh yea be careful about hidden bee nest hidden in old insulation can send you thru new opening thru wall when discovered. Great videos keep em coming
Thank you for recommending the ear buds that don’t go inside the ear canal!! It wears my ears out to wear things inside my ears. So thank you thank you ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Looking at that mess of wires - I’m surprised your head didn’t explode 🤯 figuring it out ! 😱 Sam Da Man does it again !! 😘❤️ Hello Ms Giggles 🤭!! You are always hands on ….. you are amazing 😊😊😘
You are powering through, it is looking great! Are you going to paint the landing and steps? Or will you be extending that eventually to a larger porch area that you can sit out on? Fabulous job though. Take care xx 🐻
Was it an option to just install two horizontal blocks above and below the switch, and then put a small vertical piece in between those as your support piece?
Good that you found the bare wire , it never shorted out thats the main thing potential catastrophe averted , family is safe . Excellent . . Love it guy's, great job ! That will be so much better for you in the winter time. Good find on that bare wire Sam. 🖒 yeah, now the drywall gets to go up...😁💙💛👍
It is not saving the mobile home that is top priority but saving your family’s lives that is more valuable than $1000.00!
My wife and I really enjoyed watching your work on your mobile home, I remember all that work when we lived in a noble home and all the work that it takes to keep them up, your little family is so precious, may the lord truly bless you all
Gutted a mobile home years ago . It’s amazing the things you find behind the walls . Found many wires chewed .
I love the soap I ordered from y’all!! My husband is so picky about his soaps and he absolutely loves the apple and sage! He said it’s the best soap he’s ever used! It’s a winner and will be ordering more very soon 🧼
Yay!!! So happy to hear that! Thank you so so much for your order, and we're so glad he likes it!

Perfectly said, and I concur!!!😊😊
Well worth the money. With all the time and money you have invested in making your house beautiful. It would be a shame to lose the house to a fire.
I'm so glad y'all found the bare wire and fixed it. Electrical fires are scary. On a lighter note, I love when you speed up your video while using tools. The hammering at high speed makes me laugh.
Saw that screw missing from switch plate He! He! Good Job 😎💯
I dropped it while putting the cover on and NO ONE can find it since! Going to have to get more next time we're at the store. Sheesh.. like it evaporated here. :-\
Plus im crazy to make sure each screw is exactly vertical lol
When we bought our 100 year old house, our electrician installed GFI breakers. It is SO worth it!
Knee pads rock. Now if I could get a pad that would help me get back up at age 71!
🤣🤣 Soooo true❗👌🤣🤣
amen to that!!!
Amen to that too at 72...
I gave thanks to God for keeping you and the family safe, and for showing you the faulty wire. May God continue to bless you and your family 🙏❤️.. you both did a great job with the electrical and installation. ,👍👍
Love the new door. Can’t wait to see the outside match the soap shack lol. You guys make me smile. Thank you. Stay safe
Safe and sound…🤣😂great progress…a little drywall and that corner is going to look great…I love that door! ❤️🙋🏻♀️🇬🇧💕

Amazing the rats nest of wiring, one hot wire and jumpers to each switch. The fun part is tracing where each wire goes. Looks great. Nice to see it fixed right easier to sleep at night.
We are building our house as well and doing the electric work it’s probably my favorite part. Great job finding the stripped wire. Thanks for Sharing
So glad you found the wiring before there was a fire. I was in my in-laws mobile home when it caught fire. No fun. They were able to stop it before any big damaged. She lived in it for another 10 years after it.

I hope you get a chance to check more wiring Sam, that must have made you gasp in horror at finding that dangerous cable .
Hi Sam & Angela,I am so glad that wire did not cause a fire!A miracle for sure.I must say you live in the most beautiful area.Beautiful property!Have a wonderful tomorrow!Your channel is awesome 👏☺️👍
Your boys are so sweet. I'm glad you homeschool. I Homeschooled both of my girls.
So glad you discovered that bad wire! Love your door. Blessings

Those boys are so cute! Love watching the oldest one working along beside you’ll. He’s really good for his age.
Great progress! So glad the wire didn’t arch!!
They make GFCI/AFCI combo breakers which code required in some areas for kitchens and bath areas. Good for safety concerns.
Thank you Sam and Angela fir sharing your lives and your home with us, to teach us something new with every video, your kids are so cute ❤
Hello Angela & Sam and boys! Great job! Now the fun with the drywall! ♡♡♡
I’m glad you found this, I found several ground issues in our trailer, one the ground was snipped back and not attached to anything, which was done at the manufacture over 50 yrs ago, it a good idea to hire a professional to go through and check on these older homes.
Thanks Chuck
I’m glad you found the bare wire to avoid any fires. I love the new door it looks so good. I can’t wait to see what’s next. Great joys you guys.
I love your channel it gives me the courage to fix my single wide mobile home. You all are inspirational ❤!
Aww, thanks!! You got this! :)
Please do! Fix that baby up and make it to You tube fame!!

I hate messing with electrical wiring. You have more patience than I do
I was just on Amazon to order some WAGO nuts when I remembered you might have a link. I just ordered some through your link to give you some pennies. I'm installing a light in a crowded junction box and they will be handy. There will arrive tomorrow. Cant put a price on your family safety ...... Thank goodness you found that damaged wire. Great job TFS
Thank God above you discovered that and Thank God above it was not a fire. The door looks amazing and the whole house is going to be a beautiful home when you both finish it all. No bloopers this time miss them but it okay .love the vlog an God bless.
You two are perfect for one another! I watch your videos because I learn so much- but also to watch the two of you interact!
Sam & Angela, For this application, I think you want ARC FAULT protection. I'm not a certified electrician but some people tell me that I am certifiable.
Good work you too...can't wait to see the hallway finished🤗

GOD WAS SURELY WATCHING OVER YOU AND YOUR FAMILY SAM AND ANGELA. GREAT JOB SAM AND ANGELA ON GETTING THE INSULATION IN AND THE ELECTRIC DONE. I LOOK FORWARD TO YOUR NEXT VIDEO. GOD BLESS Y'ALL
Love you guys. Our double wide is coming soon and its a mess. You give me hope that me and hubby can do all the work needed. Wow does it need work! 🤯😂 thank you for your videos.
You have learned so much since starting this projecr and it shows. It"s a shame that the pros don"t follow your examples. Keep up the good work.
Nice job lining up the top of the stud!
Man, when you uncovered that gang of switches a few videos back, I remember thinking, "What a disaster, I'm glad I don't have to work on that."

My dad has found wireing like that before sacry. However you found and it is fixed.
It is scary when you discover you have been living with something electrical that is faulty, I had luckily had new breakers put in the year before but I was told that the plug socket [ the one I use for my kettle ] would have given me a severe electrical shock. Wow that's scary! Glad I'm rewiring my whole house right now. Gfi arc breakers are cheap when it comes to saving your house
My husband said it is rodents that did that. He is an electrician and electrical inspector. He said put AFCI/GFCI combo breakers in to protect your 110 circuits.
You make me laugh😂 .... "I'm glad that actually worked!"... I almost choked on my supper.😂
THAT CLEANED UP ALOT OF MESS IN THE WALL FOR SURE AND YOU FOUND THAT WIRE AS WELL IT WAS WORTH IT FOR SURE
Wow so glad you found that wire. wall switch looks really nice now. but door is really nice love it.
I have seen the same sort of damage to the wires in australia usually mice or rats they will chew wires randomly. Love the videos keep them coming.
Nice work, Sam and Angela...really nice. How could anyone install such a tangle of wires?
Thank you for recommending the ear buds that don’t go inside the ear canal!! It wears my ears out to wear things inside my ears. So thank you thank you ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Nice progress. That last step will help the new mini split work less hard.
I love you guys the home is really coming along nicely. Love your new front door. Thank you both for the gift we love them.❤️
You are so welcome!
Love the scripture at the end of the vlog 👏👏👏 keep them coming! 😊
Mouse chewed the wires! I found the same thing in my wires, looked the very same!
New door still looks great, Its all coming along nicely, great job !!
So fortunate the naked wired didn’t arc and cause a fire. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Looking good, and nice job to the both of yous👍😉😊...
That rat's nest of wiring!! Thank God you found that fire hazard!! Looking so good.
Looking at that mess of wires - I’m surprised your head didn’t explode 🤯 figuring it out ! 😱
Sam Da Man does it again !! 😘❤️
Hello Ms Giggles 🤭!! You are always hands on ….. you are amazing 😊😊😘
As usual you all do the great job. I love love love your front door. See on the next one.... Hugs
I love the door...can't wait see all your videos.
Thanks guys, you're great teachers. Looking real good. We so enjoy your company.
Great great job. The house is so much more sturdy! 👍🏼
I 😍 the new front door!
Can’t wait for the next video…let’s go! 😀
Getting closer to the finish line ,going to be Beautiful when done . Blessings to your Family !
I ordered your soap received it yesterday absolutely love it, will be ordering more. Thanks 😊
I
Love watching you two y’all are absolutely adorable 🥰
You are powering through, it is looking great! Are you going to paint the landing and steps? Or will you be extending that eventually to a larger porch area that you can sit out on? Fabulous job though. Take care xx 🐻
Love your channel, so wholesome! Blessings
Wall and door is beautiful.
Was it an option to just install two horizontal blocks above and below the switch, and then put a small vertical piece in between those as your support piece?
That would probably work too.
Good that you found the bare wire , it never shorted out thats the main thing potential catastrophe averted , family is safe . Excellent . . Wiring was like spaghetti junction , atrocious work by the original electrician , they made a right hash of a job , disgraceful . . Well done sam , your the man . . Keep up the excellent work and content guys . See you all in the next one .
You’ve just earned your certificate for electricology! I said a prayer of thanks that your house didn’t burn down.
Yes! Thank you!
Demopalooza lol Wiring nightmare to be sure. I’m thankful you found that before we read about it in the newspaper. Those ear phones work somewhat like a cochlear implant so cool
the wear on the wire at that spot could allso be from vibrating the wall when slamming the front door , simple way to prevent it would be you put sleeves from corrugated flexpipe through the holes made in the studs
not quite sure the gfi breaker would catch the abrasion as it doesnt short to ground , if the abration wouldve ground away about half of the copper the wire wouldve become hotter from the resistance of the current running through it and you likely wouldve smelled the insulation melting , at a certan point the copper would snap and spark some and cause watever is hooked to it to flicker , thats when the real firehazzard coms in
Looking good guys ❤️😉👍🏼🇨🇦
Love it guy's, great job ! That will be so much better for you in the winter time. Good find on that bare wire Sam. 🖒 yeah, now the drywall gets to go up...😁💙💛👍
