Ahh, got you. Yep, renting a Condo on a flexible contract is the way to go until you see something you want. We only viewed 2 properties in total. The first was around 12000 a month but was not up to the standard we wanted. I think it’s more a renters market as opposed to a landlords market as there certainly seems a fair choice out there.
Hi Nick, I had seen this property online while back and thought it a very nice property. Did you use an agent or deal directly with the owner? I'll be looking for a rental house near Udon Thani during the February-April timeframe. Any advice you have would be greatly appreciated!
Hi there. We used the contact details provided which were actually the agents. (we found the property on Facebook Marketplace). It was handled very professionally with the agent as there was quite a lot of paperwork to deal with, lots of photo's to take showing current property state and any snags etc. In hindsight I would not want to deal direct with a vendor. We were looking for at least a year which I believe most would be looking for. When we arrived in udon we just rented a condo for a month allowing us to get settled etc. before choosing a property. If your only looking at Feb-April I think you will be hard pressed to locate something or you will be paying a premium given only 3 months. There are plenty of properties out there. We have our own transport so location wasn't particularly important so you'll have to take that into consideration too.
@@nickdavies3334 Hi Nick, we currently are renting a condo in downtown Udon Thani. What I meant was we'll begin our search in the Feb-Apr timeframe for a long-term rental. Thanks for the advice!
