Like, writing the lyrics and performing it is one thing, but as soon as someone asks them to talk about it, you see them trying to scramble and piece together the most PG family friendly explanation as possible. Pretty sure Taeyong said he was inspired by his older sister or something like that for "Whiplash" saying "she whips him in to shape (like she disciplines him). Of course, I'm sure he was just trying to come up with a more family friendly explanation for the song, but it just didn't quite come out the way he intended so fans joke about that. At the end of the day, songs are always open to interpretation. If you want to keep it innocent and PG, they can be. If you want to read between the lines and interpret it in a more suggestive way, they can be.

I feel like most modern sexy kpop songs are really tame compared to older kpop songs, the songs you've listened to are pretty much extremely tame compared to kpop songs out there that are blatantly about sex, except Switch It Up, but even that isn't bad, especially given what label the man signed with......
Most artists now do it all with innuendo, & then there's Jay Park, who's never tried to sugarcoat anything, & I also feel like the gg Rania would have never been able to debut with a song like Dr. Feelgood today, especially the English version...it also always seems like kpop soloists are like more free when it comes to sexy lyrics, like Jessi-Wet, Chungha-Bicycle, Hyolyn's entire discography, lol, & an older favorite being Jang Hyunseung's solo debut Ma First, & the boy is definitely not talking about his 1st love, lol

First, from the kpop LEGENDS - B.A.P, with their 'Body and soul', 'I guess I need u', and 'Try my luck'. A little heads up/warning if you don't know B.A.P, like MONSTA X have JooHeon and I.M, B.A.P has ZELO and YongGuk, those rappers with fast, smooth and deep raps..
Second, another legendary group, some OG's in kpop and my absolute faves - SUPER JUNIOR. Another group of MEN. Most of their songs are pretty sweet and comforting, but they DO have a couple of THOSE songs... like 'Closer' and ESPECIALLY the subunit D&E's 'Take it slow'! 🫣🫣
SHINee's "Body rhythm' is a pretty obvious one too 😉

I think Whiplash shocked cause MarkYong were baby rookie rappers when they wrote it! The TITLE say it all, the VERB "to whiplash" alone has DOUBLE dirty slang meanings, (one for a boy another for a shorty (girl) both requiring advanced skill sets.
For sure mark's straightforward verse expresses a healthy libido "bulging" with suggestions. Btw you missed his mention of more space above (Girls on Top!!) for HER long ass ride. And the Whiplash chorus does not elaborate on what HONESTY entails but Jaeyhun makes it clear that he's a quick responder and what he urgently wants Shorty to DO about it.
Whiplash takes its deceptively dark turn with Taeyong's super sly rap which slips past cause, as is his way, he couches filthy thoughts in cutely asian slang & lofty arts metaphor. Coyly calling himself "otaku" (a soft nerdy emo gamer sorta boy) he's badly in need of a strong hand to "tame" him preferably by administering a harder...whipping...so he can feel it more.(!?!) Typical of his duality, he's a loner but also...exacting in his erotica...collecting artists models & "working" in centimeters (as in priding himself on knowing where ALL the HOT spots are). & I'm gonna slide past on that knife verse (won't even go there!) straight to how his momma says "date a nice girl" and he answers that he has SOLID taste (he KNOWS exactly what he wants) then dad says "be the best of the best" so he..."practices late at night" and so on... as for his offer to whisk his lover away to his "cocao oasis" given Taeyongs dark dangerous raps (in baby don't like it and/or stop) they would be wise to pack...weaponry.
All in all pretty..."honest" (whatever they define that as) there's no sweet talk going on here...
