I really like how night can factor in how battles in the missile age can go. Most of the time, these Nanuchka missile boats can spot the harpoons quite far away and can defend themselves accordingly. However, because they were at EMCOM at night, they never knew they were under attack until the harpoon was right above them.
Echo that on the RN. They had better food than us, but they were a good bunch. I was posted on to HMS Beaver for a week in the RMR in the early '90's and we spent most of the week sniggering. "This is the biggest beaver that I've been in since that weekend your dad was away" was my personal favourite.
Game really needs the ability to save/load missions before I buy, and where is Royal Navy?, yes I'm British. Great content, let's hope Devs get a lot of the bugs ironed out before 12 Nov.
The aircraft don't seem to try and evade missiles? Is that right or am I just missing it/they wouldn't IRL? (Great videos btw! can't wait to play this)
@@BrotherMunro yea I just looked it up. The Sea Sprite has a max range of 360 miles, and that is stripped down, with extra fuel tanks, not with a war load.
@@josephknaak9034 they’ll need auto return to base when aircraft are bingo on fuel for the ai or it’ll be quite annoying. Which is probably a lower priority atm but would be good to see

The last attack boat rather grounded itself than letting you sink it … :)
One thing needs to be added: acft should use fuel,. In this scenario, they flew for 20+ hours.
I think fixed wing aircraft do (as I've seen them bingo fuel), but rotary wing aircraft don't

They will but not on weapons free mode where they seem to just have a death wish 😅
Would be cool if they added more voices ingame. So we can easily identify which is speaking

Yes they do! Pretty handy, not sure if they are going to change that in the future

We are to believe that an incredibly huge target like a helicopter is never engaged.?? Talk about fixing the game. Totally unrealistic
