The aesthetics have a really cinematic feel, like it’s from a film or movie. I was going to say dramatic feel but that’s kind of a given because it’s scenes from the game relating to their alternate reality storyline. But the editing and coupling with the music lends to a cinematic feel on top of the drama.
The lyric video editing reminds me of their No Era Nevermind MV. It’s just a super upgrade on the graphics likes from level 10 to level 1000. The VFX and cut scene timing match the song’s beat. It’s like their dance MV, perfectly sync and choreograph.

If you noticed the planets colliding that foreshadows Namjoon and Suga crossing paths which was never supposed to happen like when you time travel and your not supposed to change anything because of random events that can "Change History", so here that crossing paths cases the planets to emerge a new brighter future. Meaning BTS and Army never existed until they changed time and space creating their own world where we exist for and by them creating endless love and support. 😄
The scenes are from the game. The game has a story line about BTS journey so they recreated some events from their life so those are edited to make this video. In the game their is also a alternative universe where they act out how their life would be if they were not in BTS and has their own different occupation

I think this song is about what their world or careers would have been when they didn't meet yet. But then they got bored of it or it failed. Then, they start to eventually interacting and crossing each others lives. Then, after years of struggle and hardship they turn into an extraordinary and inspiring boy group.

that was what made me break down and cry. That was what made me cry so hard as it was such a beautiful message and until now I still cry whenever I see this MV. The whole video and song was so beautiful and I cannot believe that it would be that beautiful of a MV.
Heartbeat is a beautiful song and video, and I just think this would be my all time favorite song and MV. ❤️💜

about RM's scene with the police behind, i like how when he gets on his knees, like he's giving up, we get a minor chord on the 7th (Am7). we know minors always give this sad feeling but when you have a 7th it gets more hopeful. idk if it was intentional but i found that interesting

My favorite thing about this video is the closer you pay attention to the background you see small hints of past song titles and more thing just about us armys and it really feels just for us even tho it’s a commercial
I was amazed with how much feelings and emotions I saw on Jin's face in this MV. Esp when he was in the elevator looking sooo apologetic and embarrassed, and when he was at the beach desperately looking for something. Give him an acting project already!!!😁😊

I love watching PD analyze videos and point out so many tiny details I might have never noticed
So,most of the scenes were shot in 2017 but we’re supposed to imagine it’s them from 2012 and the concert clips are from their 2019 love yourself tour. The part where they were practicing choreo in the studio with the under side showing them doing the same choreo at one of their Love Yourself concerts made me emotional. Because it felt like it was saying “Look at these boys working so hard,these boys never thought they’d be here.” You can look at the top part of that scene as 2012 bangtan,but realistically knowing that even that 2017 bangtan shooting scenes for this game/MV had no idea they’d come this far and so fast too is quite something.
I think this video has something very deep to say, this boys will gonna meet each other again in every life they’ll live in the future.
Heartbeat and Spring day are my *most* favorite BTS mv and the most favorite BTS songs actually.
I wish we could hear Heartbeat live...
I remember when I first saw the music video I started to cry because of how they put out army bombs as the stars in he galaxies. BTS always makes us feel included and whole like I finally feel like I belong here after years of feeling like I didn’t I finally feel like I belong and it’s all because of the amazing people/ friends I’ve meet and made while loving BTS for the past 4 years . My life has changed.

If you’ve played the game you’ll know how it has it’s own parallel universe thing where each member has their own stories, a world where they’re not BTS.
I don’t even know how to explain how beautiful this music video is and how perfectly it makes it seem that something’s wrong without BTS and how they boys are destined to meet and come together.

It was so symbolic. It showcased all these different planets of different colors moving and gliding. It started out showing the boys in their respective Another Stories (individual stories in which they never met) and then things started getting a bit trippy and the boys began seeing celestial images in the sky and planets very close to their earth. Then planets started nearing each other, and scenes of the boys encountering each other in other Another Stories began. But then a huge collision occurred and all the scenes from the alternate realities started to convert to the BTS story scenes! It was so fluid! It sent a powerful message of what happened because the boys' worlds just happened to collide together. Their dreams became one dream.
It is truly the most beautiful thing I’ve seen this year , bts puts so much into these things for our enjoyment, we appreciate them very much 🥺💜

Without a doubt their best video and maybe in all of kpop in my personal opinion.The video is so beautiful and I mean that in both a emotional and visual way.I don't think I've ever felt so choked up and almost cried (happy tears) while watching a music video.A lot of people will probably roll their eyes and think I'm just an "Army" which couldn't be more wrong because I love so many other groups as well. As an "Army" (you can view that as a - or + idc) I've never been more proud and it's amazing to see how far they've come as artists and as a group.

this is one of those mv's you can watch many many times in a row and not grow tired of! it's seriously so beautiful... spring day will probably always hold my #1 spot, but this one now has a shared #2 spot together with serendipity... or maybe knocked it off its spot, I haven't decided yet
so i believe this music video is about what would happen if bts had never met in an alternate universe. In the game, it transports you back to 2012, and you as the player is supposed to bring them all together. In another part of the game they explore what wouldve happened if they had never met. In that version they all have different professions as illustrated in this mv. Tae is a farmer, Jimin works in a mochi shop while pursuing dance on the side, jungkook is doing taekwondo etc. They talk about how they were destined to meet, and even if they didnt meet as bts they believe that theyre soulmates and wouldve met anyways in other circumstances. Thats at least what i think and what ive heard others think!
BTS is truly one of a kind and they are so, so special.

This work of Bts is the most beautiful i've seen, is SO MUCH amazing, make me cry
if you did not know, this mv was actually them following their storyline in their game, showing them in an alternate universe where they are not bts and eventually fate leads them together showing that being BTS was their destiny no matter the circumstances.
the story behind the video is how all the members are in their own universe and later, you see them stumbling in each other’s universes all confused because the multiverses start to morph into each other, during the bridge, you can slowly see the 7 different planets - the multiverses - morph into each other and they all get back together in one universe the moment Jimin hits the high note. From that moment on, you can see all of them together again as Bangtan Sonyeondan, practicing and performing. There’s also a whale floating at some point and that’s most likely a reference to their song Whalien52 and the lonely whale who can’t be heard considering his cries are 52 hertz so they wanted to show how the guys are very lonely on their own without each other... I personally also think the fish we see before that scene is linked to Hoseok’s music video of Daydream in which he’s also surrounded by fish, being caught like a fish in a net of desire with thirst in life (as someone on twitter had said). At one point- you can also see the guys on stage and there’s almost something like a planet behind them but in a flash, it actually shows it’s an army bomb so that’s another thing which shows they really did this for Army’s and showing their gratitude

When I saw this MV I wanted to hear your take on it. I really enjoyed it. It really is a work of art. It was nice to see to some of the things they've said they would do if there was no BTS, Jin becoming a salary man, V a farmer and I was sure that Jimin was the one who wanted to be a police officer but I loved how they put it all together together for everyone. I loved watching the worlds collide and creating a new planet. It's a tale to me of 7 guys with a dream and the army that became their fan base. Very well done.
