Hell I stumbled onto em through Linkin park faint cover with crossfaith then started listening to coldrain hell I learned about fire force through their mayday song and the damn anime is dope they need a fire force video game.

人気になるにつれて大衆にうけるようどんどんおとなしめでポップな曲になっていくバンドが多い中coldrainだけは毎度裏切らない。

Not underrated at all. They just failed to put out consistently good albums (meaning not generic post hardcore sound like the majority of the western bands) and botch their previous chance to produce a good album when they got an international record deal. Pretty much like what happened to One OK Rock International record deal. If only they stick to their Japanese roots in regards to sounds...
I have been listening to them even before they got recognition by having one of their songs as the soundtrack for Pro Evolution Soccer game. I count that as long enough. Their early works are a tad different you see. They are somewhere in between in regards to the westerns post-hardcore and Japanese post-hardcore. Albeit by Japanese standard they have more western influence as compare to other bands. That makes them rather unique. The latter albums and Ep not so much as theirs sound got more and more westernized.
But it does not mean that they are not a good band though. You can ignore what I said and continue to listen to them. I'm just here to make conversation on youtube :)
Muhammad Syafiq Fair enough, we've been listening for around the same time then, honostly they have stayed pretty much the same, being alt-metal/post hardcore from the beginning but i think the western influence came from them getting slightly heavier, not really from them releasing in the west, i mean, through clarity was the release they started getting heavier, and that was only a japanese release, Vena, for me was showing their melodic side with songs like Gone and Wrong and was a solid album imo, the 2 songs on Vena II i can agree that they weren't there best songs, but still solid coldrain songs, with this song it feels like they are kinda returning to the heaviness of the revalation while using more Japanese melodic styles like the first 2 albums

I had the pleasure of meeting Masato and some of the other band members after a show 1 month ago, I gave them a handshake and told them how much I loved their music and this song in particular, they told me next time they'd come they'll make sure to put this song on the setlist. An excellent and nice bunch of guys who have amazing energy and stage presence 🤟
i may be new to writing and producing music, but this band has and will continue to serve as a reminder to continue. Coldrain is worthy of the best.

Until the endのときはバンドのサウンドが変わったと言われ批判が多かったが、あのアルバムがあったからこそいまのcoldrainがいて、ENVYがある。信じてついてきてよかったと思える一曲。こんなに短い4分は初めてかもしれない。
These guys are so damn underrated. Their music vids' views are so low, i feel bad somehow. They need the recognition they deserve. Best band for me.

I have only found about Coldrain yesterday, I am officially in love right now.
Some of their more melodic songs are ace as well! "Gone" and "The Story" from Vena is my favourite.

正直に言ってしまうとcoldrainの新曲今回はあまり期待していなかったが予想以上にカッコよすぎてビビった
今でもラウドロック界のトップランナーの1人だけど、今作で頭一つ抜きん出るじゃないかって雰囲気ムンムンのリード曲、、、日本詞のバンドが売れて行くこの環境でもcoldrainは絶対にぶちかませる。ニューアルバム、ツアー本当に楽しみにしてます！！ENVY最高！！

Alex Glase この曲はというか、coldrain全曲英詞です。それでもここまでラウドロック界で地位を築いて来ましたし、オリコンとかにも入ってましたよ。

Spotifyでこの曲が配信されて初めて聴いた時VENAⅡのUndertowで久しぶりにひしひしと感じてたSevendust節が更に強く出ててほんまに小便漏れかけたわw 完全に武道館に焦点あわせてる曲だと思う。特に最後のよこちの唸るようなワウワウパートが堪らないわ。細かいストリングスも最後のオーディエンスの声が入るパートもどこかこの曲が全身全霊のストレート勝負であることを暗示してる気がする！…わからんけどw VENAは全部のクオリティが高くてどれも良かったんだけど、これっていうぶん殴られるような超圧巻の曲が個人的にはなかったと思うから、この曲がFinal Destination、To Be Alive、No escape、Revelationみたいな新参をがっと掴む代表曲になることをただただ願う。でもこれはなまじ最初のインパクトが大きいから如何せんスルメ曲にはなりずらいと思う。だからそれはアルバムの他の曲に期待したいと思う！Fatelessめちゃくちゃ楽しみだ😇
そしてこの曲をみんなで友達なりSNSになりに拡散しよう！Masatoがliveで武道館埋まるかなって若干憂いてたけどそんなんぶっとばすぐらい色んな人にcoldrainの良さを教えてあげて、好きになって欲しい。間違いなくこの手の音楽では日本一のバンドだと思うから、まだまだでかくなって欲しいし、小さい箱でのcoldrainもいいけど武道館クラスの広大な会場を普通にこなすようなバンドになって欲しい！応援してます！
