I agree. Underrated, underappreciated. With the Eventide card Clout of the Dominus it's a beast. +2+2 haste and shroud for one mana. Not so hard to have a turn 3 5/5 haste flier with shroud, all you need is a clout, and Mishra's bauble.Pairs great with enigma dragon. So you can use your spells to damage again in the late game. Throw in a few Ledger Shredders for card filtering and a big flying body. Thats 12 highly synergistic creatures. Frankly I cannot understand why this pairing is not top meta. It's got a great sideboard including force of negations, dress down, all the best counterspells. Its as fast and impenetrable like Bogles, tempo as Murktide, and if you splash black for Terminates and a couple of discard spells it's even more denial, but still lands turn 4-5 very consistently.
Love this deck, super fun, dropped 3 lands, mixed in 3 Fable passage, 2 castle vantress, 2 castle embereth and a total of three temples. Replacing the three lands with 1 Borrower and 2 Raking claws, thinking of Lore Drakkis mutater for 2 return that instant/sorcery to hand.
Thank you so much! Was getting my butt beat every day not wining anything. The mutate deck was where I started winning. I will try this deck. new to your channel what is you name? thanks again.
Hello. Thanks for the deck. I did not follow the previews and this deck is quite cool to start the new season while all my others have like 20 - 30 cards that are now illegal!!
I would play one or two of the entities. It is a really powerful card, because of the prowess and also the scry... As a one-off I would like it. Really nice deck though! Keep it on!
4 Stormwing Entity, a second Brazen Borrower and with them some lofty denials/ winged words look pretty good. One of Experimental Overload sounds neat. You would be cutting crashthroughs and unsummons, maybe even one riddleform sphinx, it's a bit slow.
@@ratdoto2148 So I'm fairly new to the game, but I get the feeling like Experimental Overload wouldn't fit really well in this deck. I think the best way to use this kind of deck is to get sprites / riddleforms out and buffed as early as possible by using low cost instants / sorceries. The main problem with including experimental overload in this deck is that it's expensive, meaning that 1) You need more lands to reliably even be able to use it in the first place and 2) To maximize its usefulness you need a lot of cards in your graveyard, which won't happen until more of a late game kind of scenario, by which point you should already have killed your opponent. Experimental overload would work better in more of a control style deck where you can buy time to get out Double Visions and what not. I definitely agree with the Stormwing Entities though, they're amazing in this deck
@@Bayesic I only meant it as something to try, but I have found it to be a pretty good adition. It's a super good top deck in a game where both decks are running out of gas. This means It's usually bad against control, it's very good against other (but more traditional) midrange decks, and It's bad against aggro decks if it's in your starting hand, but good if both of u are in top deck mode. It goes something like this. I play the overload and I bring back a counter spell or a burn spell and use whichever one to stop them from killing the weird, disrupt their board state, or prevent their next threat. I only have one copy in my deck, you could have two but you definitely should not have more than that. Edit: In best of 3 it's a good sideboard card.
HGG I am not really experienced player and thats why I don’t understand how to play with 5 + 4 enchantment creatures in 60 card deck? It seems too hard just to get at least one Dragon. But in diamond ranked games, especially in diamond, my first creature get removed really quick (1 attack as a maximum)
you are 100% correct, also playing brazin borrower never feels good. this list is just not good. too many lands not enough threats, riddleform is Amazing but can't carry the deck alone.
@@SadSinStory Yep, I tried to play with 4x Borrowers + 4x Stormwing Entity. This is really fun to pump up Dragon + SE. Especially it was fun with Unleash fury (25 + damage by one lil dragon). Sometimes it worked, but its impossible to climb up to mythic rank because Dragon catch removals immidietly in most cases... I`ve got to mythic just yesterday with Dimir Flash deck ( "Ashiok's Erasure" my favorite card in this deck =) ). And Borrowers looks so cool in Dimir Flash
@@HelloGoodGame you are a way better player then i am. im some random f2p plat 2 shitter who only recently joined the game, but as a f2p player WHO LITERALLY used all of his wild cards for a izzet deck with somethihng like 200 games on the deck. This list is shit. not to mention ive mirrored match this list in play que against mine and it literally bricked because my starting hand had a shock a single "removal" . you're a good player but this list is just not it chief.
I have a similar deck but I prefer to run furor of the bitten instead of infuriate! +2/+2 enchantment for 1, lasts turn after turn, and still triggers the noncreature spell triggers. It makes the creature attack every turn, but if you put it on sprite dragon it can become a 4/4 flyer on turn 4 that only gets bigger, not many opponents have a way to block that so I don't mind the "attacks every turn if able" clause.
I run something kinda like this but more burn to piss off rogues and rdw 4 opt 2 stern dismissals, don't have borrowers 4 shock 4 spikefield hazards 4 frantic inventory 4 sea gate stormcallers 4 roll eruptions 4 sprite dragon 2 borrowers 4 bone rusher giants 3 storming entities
With this list? You don't. With an upgraded list you can tho, just bounce their Clover and counter their key plays. If you want to tailor this list to it add 3/4 Embereth Shieldbreakers, a bunch of Whirlwind Denials and 4 Borrowers. With a well made list you can get away with 18 lands, but I still recommend 20
I "tweaked" it a bit with one Stormwing Entity ihad laying around, two extra Borrowers i had cause i was experimenting with blue, two Castle Embereth (F in chat for my boi RDW) and three of the new UR Pathway cause i had 3 rare wildcards. It looks Really fun
im a f2p player, and my most successful deck is an izzet deck. IMO frantic inventory is absolute trash. Raking Claws is a budget ember cleave, and also embercleave is kinda hard to do since you are usually not going wide enough. i mean this setup is super cheap with 0 rares? cause the scry land is free. But IDK this list is ..... is weird ..... omen is also slow... but its also common idk. this is way too poor setup even for a f2p player, if you really want low rare decks that work you should try spam buying ikora packs and getting a zenith flare cycling deck, it legit only requires 1 rare and all cards are in those packs good luck f2p plebs.
Guy has to put a disclaimer about how his win rates are based off of bot matches at 0:00 then says the dragon's under rated when you see it in all rotation proof Izzet aggro decks. Why are you putting fluffed win rates in the thumb nail? I liked watching your farming guides early on and some decks but advertising that a deck does something then having to put a disclaimer about hoew he win rate is bot based is kind of dishonest, why don't you just take the win rate off the thumbnail and name the build seems more honest.

75% winrate against bots yes... I wasted my time and jokers on this deck. All it takes is a few controls by the opponent to make this rotten synergy fall apart. You end up with a hand full of useless spells that boost the creatures.
There is a discussion about that at the end :). Question about the 16 lands. Is it not better to have 18? That is giving you average of 2+ lands per opening hand instead of 2- lands.
