It's a modern version of that down home Mississippi blues sound from the 60s and 70s, of old Black guitar pickers playing either on their front porch or in some smoky dive bar in the middle of nowhere. These were REAL musicians who played from the heart. No fancy equipment, no groupies, no road show. Just playing because they loved making music.
