    Thanks so much for this video. It was easy to understand without unnecessary "wordiness." Straight to the point. Much appreciated. Thanks again. God bless.

    I've been doing Ms. Fixit jobs for years and know more about anchors from this video than I ever learned before. Very helpful and informative!!

    I was all set to buy the wrong type of anchor until I watched your very easy to follow video. Then I went to Lowe's and bought the Toggler. Perfect advice, Mr. Hardware!

    Man why aren’t there more videos like this showing exactly how anchors work in walls? So useful.

    Installing mirror clips to put a mirror on a bathroom door and you just helped me determine to use mollies for my hollow core bathroom door. thank you.

    Very helpful! Most instructions only show one or two options; this offers comparisons so you can make an informed choice.

    Holy shit. Pilot hole with an ice pick. That's perfect for the self-driving anchors. That's the one thing I really hate about them, it's the fact that sometimes my drill ends up going through the wall when the self screwing anchor doesn't quite want to go. Revolutionary advice right there.

    I had no idea the togglers were actually so easy to use. I've had some for years now that I was going to use to mount something like a TV I believe, never got around to it because it seemed too intimidating. Thanks for elucidating that for me. I'm an idiot...

    which of the anchors would work best for screw holes that are stripped (gotten too big from the use of the door) and my screen door hinges are now loose. The door hinges are screwed into a 3/4 inch thich wood.

    My screen door hinges are loose. Screws won't hold anymore. Can I use a molly to connect the door to the hinge?

    • @MrHardware1
      @MrHardware1 Рік тому

      When I can’t get a bigger screw to grab in a metal door anymore, they make a tool that will insert threads in a metal door, usually a car mechanic owns one. Your other choice would be to move the hinge up or down half of an inch on both

    The problem I see with mollies is that they are too long for a regular hollow door. If I put them into my 1 and 3/4 inch door they surely would come out the other side.. So the only viable option for a door would be an Ez anchor I guess.

    • @blairgilbert7606
      @blairgilbert7606 3 роки тому

      Not really, the shortest molly is only 1" long, which I use for hollow doors all the time.

    Pretty informative. However, the cinematography needs improvement: poor frame rate, goes in and out of focus, muted audio some times, truncated video during jump cuts, failure to keep the action in frame sometimes. You're fired....as a videographer. You get a raise for being a handyman though.
