What do you think of these modern style Adirondack chairs? We love the way they turned out. They add such a nice touch to our fire pit area. What kind of seating do you use around your fire pit or outdoor gathering areas? We would love to know!
Love the simplicity of the design. I am going to make one in a loveseat length style. Will most likely use smaller boards for seat and back though I think.
What kind of wood did you use? It looks beautiful with the stain.
You probably dont give a shit but does any of you know a trick to get back into an Instagram account??
I was dumb lost the password. I would appreciate any tricks you can offer me
@Jason Frank instablaster :)
@Jaxon Kane i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm in the hacking process atm.
I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
0mg!! thank you for showing the cuts with the speed square I love Ana but she shows everything so fast that I couldn't get the angles right
You’re welcome! I’m so glad it’s helpful!
I’ve been wanting to get a label printer for my small business for the longest time and finally pulled the trigger. I’m glad I did ! This machine is great ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxw55tQTywUAAOsbrlwxONZULry77sFF1Q and the blue/green color matches the rest of the accents in my office. My favorite part is how small the footprint is. It’s less than 1/4 the size of my regular printer.Set up was fairly easy. Seller will email you a link with video instructions Which I found to be more helpful than the written instructions. I use a Mac and had no issues. They even included an adaptor for USB to USB-c which is great because I’m always losing mine! I had a few issues getting the labels to print properly and wasted quite a few sheets. You need to play around with the settings to get everything adjusted just right. If you have the wrong settings, it’ll crop off the edges or feed through blank labels. These aren’t issues with the machine though, just user error.
I made a pair of these from your plans on line. Easy to build and very sturdy. I used treated lumber so the chairs would match my new deck. I bought 8 2x4x8 and 5 5/4x6x8 deck boards. Thanks for the plan they turned out great.
Beuce
So glad you tried them!!
Great video. Good detail. Helped me get the angled cuts on the feet just right. Just built two of these and honestly I highly recommend weatherproofing them before assembly (if you get untreated wood). The angles and crannies you have to get to once assembled is not incredibly simple. Also, pay VERY close attention to what he is saying and doing at the 7:15 ish mark. It's a crucial tip!
Glad it helped!
Thanks. Explanation was very clear. This is very helpful for beginners like me.
Glad it was helpful!
I loved it, I'm from Brazil and I love this chair. I will make one for myself.
thanks!!!
Built one this weekend thank you for the plans turned out great
Built these today. Very nice
Another great video by this couple. Wonderful simple idea, thanks
Thank you very much!
Cute chair with affordable wood. Great narration. Take care ❤️ 🇨🇦
Thank you! Yes super cute and affordable! And win all around 🙌🏼🙌🏼
They turned out great!!
Thank you! We really love them!
Great chairs!
If you clamp your speed square to the board you can use it as a guide for the saw.
Fantastic tips - thanks!
I’m definitely doing this design
Man what a great information. You should be a teacher, plus video is great not only tells you what to do but demonstrate it.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the video
Really great walkthrough.
Thank you!
Awesome tutorial thanks y’all!
Can't wait to make me some. Great job
Wonderful!!
Nice work guys👍
13:13 Am I the only one who felt that the stain is missing in the second chair(under the seating) 🤔
Ha yep! It was! We fixed it
- Remember to wear eye and ear protection...!
. But what about boots? That circular saw is kind of close to your feet...
- Nah, don't worry about it. Feet grow back out.
😂😂😂😂😂
Lol y’all crack us up with these comments
Why not use the pocket screws to attach the top of the arms, instead of doing screws through the top?
Pocket holes in that joint wouldn't be as strong because you are attaching into the outer grain of the chair arm. Simply filling the holes with putty helps to hid the top screws.
Great video like the ideas a lot. Do you have list of how many lumber and what lumber you use in this video to complete a chair?
good evening excellent video what kind of paint is oil or water thanks
I miss your homeschool content!

@@RaisingNobles I did not know this and totally missed that announcement. I will hop over there :)
Condition the wood before staining
Thanks for the tip!
What's the purpose of removing the triangle at 4:00 mins? Your seat slats aren't going to bend round it. I've seen this done when they've used thinner slats.
Dude, wear shoes when working with tools, toes come in 10 packs only - not in single replacement packs.
Take your shoes off when you rest in your smartly made deck chairs !
Settle down tough guy
Ok mr know it all wood working champion calm down tiger
How have these held up? I’m considering building some but wondering if 2x6 would be a better option
They are very sturdy and have held up very well. We move them every time we mow the yard so they haven’t just been sitting. We’ve been very pleased with them!
Hello, could you tell me the measurements of all the cuts?
Safety Glasses, ear protection, check...barefoot check... :)
So eye protection, ear protection and BARE FEET??!!
😬 yes
is anyone else bothered by the spot on the support that has no stain on it? you can see it at the end under the chair.
good eye, we did that to see if anyone noticed 😜
What type of wood did you use?
Just pine
Man builds chair, woman takes credit.
Soyboy builds chairs, master takes credit.
@@kdmigloo two douchebags reply on UA-cam
Doing it again, would you stain before assembly?
You definitely could. But we found it easy to stain after
@@RaisingNobles Thanks for the reply! I'm pretty new to all of this, and worried about not having any sealant/finish on some of the under sides possibly allow it to rot or something like that.
Gotcha. Yeah we used a stain with a sealer in it for weather resistance. They have been holding up quite nicely and we’ve had a very rainy summer. We don’t keep them under a cover and the water rolls right off the wood
This is a great design but I'm sorry. I cant go with stained pine. It just wont hold up. Right in the area where you will connect with screws , debris will get in there and that joint will NOT stay dry. I have trusted and been burned so many times with untreated in the elements. They won't last 4 years. But if your area has a roof over it then thats better but .....
I use cedar with a spar varnish with UV protection and stainless steel hardware plus tightbond III glue. They survive direct Texas sun and rapid swings in temperatures.
👍
What do you call that blue device at 5:45 ?
Kreg jig
safety first, glasses hearing protection and bare feet. You might want to reconsider that.
That Is looking like an Ana White chair to spec?
Good job!
Sorry not good at the reply thing here.
yes it is an ana white chair, we don't give dimensions in this video so you will go to her website to get that info. we were sharing how to make her chairs without a miter saw.
Sandy
👍
You have to be more carful!
The way you work with the skil saw is just wrong from the safety side. You are a few more cuts from a kickback, right into your bare foot legs.
Be carful, and wear protection!
Ah, you missed something.
Oh yeah?
@@RaisingNobles 13:13, see?
Wood makes splinters and your bare footed this is where I stopped watching
Kh7 needs a better commercial. I'd rather use the dollar store shit.
not at all
You have your safety glasses on, hearing protection, etc. EXCEPT you are not wearing any proper footwear!! I do not see the logic in that. The chairs however look great.
you may wanna wear some shoes next time you make some cuts on that circular saw. Disasters don't discriminate based on experience.
Thanks for looking out
🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ safety goggles and ear protection...... and bare feet. 🤣 I cant with you..
😂😂😂
