All throughout my 20s I was too generous financially, taking on responsibilities for ppl who were older than me and I was suffering because of it I had no savings and once I started to setting my priorities straight none of those ppl are talking to me, they're my biggest enemies, some has even went throwing dirt at my name to ppl who knows me in order to defame my character so we gotta have balance in life
My grandmother just turned 97 on the 15th and her husband, my grandfather is many many years younger than her. They got married in the sixties and stayed married. He provided a very very comfortable life for her through working hard, investing smart & saving money for their future. He cares for her hand and foot till this day. I’m sure that him being financially responsible played a big part. Knowing my Caribbean Sagittarius grandmother don’t play that. These conversations are very much needed and knowing that a man is responsible and considerate of both of you guy’s future really allows us women to operate in our femininity.
Please! You are not telling the full story. The age gap between your grandparents and when exactly they met. Time matters. A woman who is 44years is roughly 6 years from menopause. I agree. My then boyfriend whom I worked with, running his private practice (MD) We made more than enough money. He was a very generous man. We supported family, friends, churches, the communityetc…. And never suffered in any way. In fact we were given what money could not buy and that was the joy of seeing people’s lives change or made easier. We lived in Louisiana at the time and also lived and helped many through Hurricane Katrina. She does not appear to be suffering because of his given heart. Seems controlling, gives him an ultimatum in order to possibly give him a baby. Ultimately even if he confirms to her will there will be something else she will find to complain about.
I've been in his shoes before, and if it was my son, I would not support it. My only hope is that he lived a little before getting serious with this woman. I was 32 when I dated a woman in her mid 40s, but I already experienced dating women young than me, traveled overseas and met women, and was way out of my player stage. It didn't work out because she couldn't have children due to health reasons, and I want children of my own and there were controlling issues on her part.

I admire his heart to give back, which may have been his intial driving force to obtain his goal(s). He may just need to consider the way in which he's giving and of course the amount. He is giving his 10% in a free for all form, but maybe he could choose or start a foundation to give to at a set time every month or quarterly. There was a time I used to give £3k (three thousand pounds) a month, but when I fell on hard times, there wasn't anyone available just to have a conversation with, it was a shock for me. All throughout my 20s I was too generous financially, taking on responsibilities for ppl who were older than me and I was suffering because of it I had no savings and once I started to setting my priorities straight none of those ppl are talking to me, they're my biggest enemies, some has even went throwing dirt at my name to ppl who knows me in order to defame my character so we gotta have balance in life

My grandmother just turned 97 on the 15th and her husband, my grandfather is many many years younger than her. They got married in the sixties and stayed married. He provided a very very comfortable life for her through working hard, investing smart & saving money for their future. He cares for her hand and foot till this day. I’m sure that him being financially responsible played a big part. Knowing my Caribbean Sagittarius grandmother don’t play that. These conversations are very much needed and knowing that a man is responsible and considerate of both of you guy’s future really allows us women to operate in our femininity.

This means her ability to have children healthy children is in the past ( roughly 10 years ago). So what are we talking about here?
I love them as a couple. He has such a beautiful spirit to want to give back but I also see his girlfriend’s point of view to save up for the future. They honestly didn’t really help him. She put most of the concerns on self and future investing. Yet there was no counseling recommendation. He grew up as a caregiver at a young age. He struggles with boundaries and people pleasing. This must be addressed at the root, “childhood” trauma. If he’s given an ultimatum without therapy. He’s going to be broken hearted because she will leave, when he has already be struggling with childhood trauma at that 🙄.

I agree. My then boyfriend whom I worked with, running his private practice (MD) We made more than enough money. He was a very generous man. We supported family, friends, churches, the communityetc…. And never suffered in any way. In fact we were given what money could not buy and that was the joy of seeing people’s lives change or made easier. We lived in Louisiana at the time and also lived and helped many through Hurricane Katrina.
She does not appear to be suffering because of his given heart. Seems controlling, gives him an ultimatum in order to possibly give him a baby. Ultimately even if he confirms to her will there will be something else she will find to complain about.

I've been in his shoes before, and if it was my son, I would not support it. My only hope is that he lived a little before getting serious with this woman. I was 32 when I dated a woman in her mid 40s, but I already experienced dating women young than me, traveled overseas and met women, and was way out of my player stage. It didn't work out because she couldn't have children due to health reasons, and I want children of my own and there were controlling issues on her part.

I admire his heart to give back, which may have been his intial driving force to obtain his goal(s). He may just need to consider the way in which he's giving and of course the amount. He is giving his 10% in a free for all form, but maybe he could choose or start a foundation to give to at a set time every month or quarterly.
