I got PR of 47 minutes adz and i was dying. you get 35 minutes and looks EZPZ. great ride! Edit: your HR down crazy fast during cool down, how fit you are!
It hurt, no worries :-)...but I didn't kill myself on this effort. In the end I think i'ts really individual how you look like when you are suffering. Some ppl are really good in keeping a poker face when they are actually on their very limit. Did a lot of tempo work this year which helped me with recovery between efforts.
Bro you did soo good, I would never reach that level, but the guy that passed you really pulled a dick move on you, he sat all the time behind you and then he attacked, whta an asshole, but great performance
insane power. how do you train your legs apart from cycling? do you do heavy weight training like max effort squats? i cannot imagine that u get this much power in your legs from cycling alone. ah läck du bisch ja sogar schwizer. i wellere gegend trifft me dich so ah?
salut, danke dir! jo bisher v.a. im winter chrafttraining ca. 2 x pro wuche (idealerwis 1x pro wuche über de summer biphalte). deadlift und squats mit 4-8 wiederholige bi 3-4 sets max effort...und denn abwechselnd no verschiednigs anders. hilft sicher, v.a. als master fahrer, aber die power kriegsch au mit trianing usschliesslich ufem velo hi. bin region solothurn/luzern/aargau unterwegs.
ah super, denn machis also nid ganz verchehrt. i han letschts jahr mit velo agfange und han dä winter viel mobilität & core gmacht aber ebe au squats, deadlifts. freue mi uf de sommer :D witerhin viel erfolg und was du usehausch is phänomenal!@@nhug5674
Nice climb… would you feel more comfortable if you started out lower wkg over the first few turns and then increase for stronger finish ? I mostly train on alpe doing laps.. mostly target 4.1-4.3wkg.. x 3 or 4 laps. So when I do a single climb race I can push harder. I’m 50yrs old, 65kg with a best time of 42mins.. but you made that look so easy.. I blame my age!! Haha 👍 new sub
yes, that was not perfectly paced. didn't exactly know what power I could hold for this effort, was a spontenous attempt. I think a negative split is often the best strategy for such efforts. keep it up 👍
A lot comes down to genetics, especially when we talk about w/kg. Sry man. Just enjoy your rides and races, eat properly, sleep, 2-3 HIT sessions per week, sweetspot as far as fatigue allows, fill the rest with endurance and hope for the best basically. No rocket science 👍💪
where did you get that number from? Im 59-61kg. Just got a new PB by the way in the Zwift Grand Prix where you need to verify your weight. ua-cam.com/video/T4AXH8af9vs/v-deo.html
6+/wkg avg is top 00001% of people on earth. Bravo!!!
It hurts my soul to see this guy warming up at 200+ watts. 😬
200+ Watts is a base ride for me also. But my weight is 82 kg. :D
Yeah zone 2 for me too but I am a 100 kg weightlifter so alpe du zwift I suck
I sadly sadly don’t warm up at 3,3W/kg 😅
That's my Zone 2 at arround 75kg too.
Yes!
Crikey, I'm new to Zwift and did this for the first time. I did it in 75 mins and I did not look that relaxed afterwards either. Absolute beast
unreal amount of dedication needed for this level, absolute beast!!
thank you, appreciate it!
ผมเป็นคนไทย แม้ไม่ได้พูดภาษาเดียวกัน แต่ผมโคตรชอบคุณ ผมปั่นจักรยานในร่ม กำลังลดน้ำหนัก สู้ๆครับ I AM FROM THAILAND.
Mega Krank💪💪 diese Leistung
Super contenu et surtout quelle performance 🙏💪👌🔥 chapeau
Merci!
Tip-Top to the top - great ride, congratulations and thanks for sharing!
i know Rowan Barret he is living nere from me in québec canada and he is an absolute goat💪
Love the music combination with climb suffering pain cave! Thanks for sharing ❤
cheers man! music allows you to push so much more, especially on long efforts like this.
6wpkg for most of that climb, monster!
凄い…自分も頑張ろうと思えました。ありがとう
great effort ! Rowan Barrett is a local legend here in Canada , he is very real indeed.
Bro is 52kg ?
@@drym3943 yes he is 117 lbs at race weight.
@@drym3943 yes i know hes real wheigt and it is 52kg

How old were you when PR 47 minutes?
@@CTINF mid 30s and my PR become actually 44.xx now - pretty much average time for amateur B class weekend warrior riders.
🔥🔥🔥
Beasts! My heart would explode
💪
How much do you weigh? 64kg? Congrats I usually do in 53 mins you are in another level
Only 18 minutes faster than me I'll take that

👍👍👍👍👏👏
Wow! But what was the time for Cannondale Echelon? He was first place…
You are not human....it is almost close to marco pantani 1995
Yea it's not real life cycling dude. Far from it 😂
stronk
kudos
mach weiter burder!
What platform do you use for Zwift
desktop pc with windows. total different experience than on tablet or notebook
100-110w for 30kph? I need 150-160w for 30kph. (I mean after the Race by 0%)
Rowan is the pride of mtl cycling!
Insane effort tbh, but these times ain’t quite realistic, shame that we are faster on Zwift
What's your PR on the actual Alp?
Amazing effort, really respecting you! But I wonder how accurate Zwift is if the record of Pantani was 37min on the Alpe d'Huez?
Thanks. Its not really comparable with the real alpe. I remember there was a video on GCN about it. Definitely faster times on Zwift than IRL.
Not comparable , when you going uphill the oxygen levels are lower and you have to do more effort to keep pushing
Nice climb… would you feel more comfortable if you started out lower wkg over the first few turns and then increase for stronger finish ?

Impressive gg
Do you use a Rocker Plate or no? Fantastic effort btw with a poker face =)
Thanks. No rocker plate, I prefer a stable system.
Dude how the fuck do I get there? How much do I have to train to be this good? I’m hovering at 3.6 w/kg ftp. I’m soooo far from this level.

@@nhug5674i did a lot of SST training in Zwift and have positive progress, what kind of HIT that you recommend from workout zwift?
Who is the canadian? Pretty strong performance! If someone can beat Niki in a climb, that means something
Dont know but definitely a bloody wheelsucker 😅
i believe he owns the mt ventoux KOM. the real one, not the zwift one
@@WHAT_1400 Yes, looks like he specialized in KOM hunting
Rowan Barrett. Charles Ouimet has a video with him
@@WHAT_1400 Richard Carapaz has the real KOM
Can i ask you what ftp you have ? Insane effort !!
thanks. around 340w currently @59-62kg
Dayumn son, 6w/kg looks insane na ?
thats insanely good
hey nice video! im just curious what trainer difficulty% was this on?
thanks. I guess it was around 20%
Near pro level wattage being at 59kg.
Name bike?
virtual or real? :D
Great work🎉🎉🎉
Bravo!!
Great video thanks 😊😊
Thanks for watching!

This is just silly 🙃

Ahh course you had to boost the number of red blood cells to increase/help with oxygen debt at altitude.. oh wait 😂
57kg? Really? Insane w/kg power nonetheless.

NO way that wattage = SPEEDS shown you were hitting over 50Kph at times.
to my knowledge, it is not the intention of zwift to represent reality perfectly. may you tell me where you get this idea from?
Pretty normal if you are drafting in a group, especially on declining slopes. Plus races sometimes have 2x draft enabled.
You weigh 53kg??
I went into cardiac arrest just watching this❤🩹
