I saw this show back in 87. This video brings back memories. We ditched school and went to Universal Studios. Good show and good stunt men. Very well done show. It was the perfect show. Not overdone, just a good old fashioned western brawl and gunfight with humor. Thank you for bringing back good memories
I don't recall what year it was that Bob passed, but it has to be 15 years or more. Yes, Bob was part of that A team with Lance and Steve (who just recently passed) and it was a well oiled machine. It was fun to share space with them for 6 years.
@@yelirr22 It was 10/1/1987, the day of the Whittier earthquake. The first show of the day was cancelled because there were not very many people in the park. After awhile, a tram unloaded a group of guests after a tour and management decided to add a stunt show to give them something to see. Well, Lance Rimmer was nowhere to be found. Guests were in the seats, music was playing and we were scrambling on what to do. I actually was preparing to audition for Lance's part, so I was confident I knew the lines, but Steve was not comfortable doing a fight scene with a rookie, so Bob Rochelle got dressed to do Lance's part and I ran to the dressing room and threw on the costume for the funny man. I ran back to the arena just in time to climb up the ladder and start the show. Talk about an adrenaline rush. Too bad I don't have video of that show, huh?
To have the chance to share the stage with Bob...gahh..a real dream come true...

What a wonderful show. I remember it well as a kid. What ever became of Bob? His timing was excellent.

@@mattcreeks1446 So sad that they're gone. How nice that you got to do the show with them as well. Was Bob just as funny in person?
@@MattGourley Certainly. All of the guys had the potential to be side-splitting funny.
A couple of Matt's talking stunts and laughs!
@Matt Creeks it would be so great to hear some stories, I'm sure you are full of them

Thank you for posting this.
Saw this when I was a kid, back in the 70s’
Man, do I miss this show!
Indeed. We all do. Classic. Creeks was also an excellent Host on Star Trek --- as was Manny Almaraz!
I heard Universal closed it down. Is that true?
@@MH-zg5yw Yes. This particular show closed down many years ago. If it was revived today, it would be just as popular as it always was.
I know Lance from LA Fitness, Sherman Oaks. Great dude! Used to tell me the stories bout the stunt show
