There are no real secrets on how to be a profitable trader. There is no secret strategy or holy grail strategy to help you become a profitable day trader in 90 days. The secrets just comes down to going back to the basics and be willing to put in the work.
I'll share with you a step-by-step plan on how you can be a profitable trader if you want to achieve it within the short time frame of 1 year.

Mam, in forex trade scalping is used
This is so helpful! I'm a beginning trader and I'm all over the place trading everything from crypto investing, swing trade, and scalping to stock investing and recently scalping low float rockets! Figuring out a routine and schedule is very helpful. This is my only means of income and so far I'm paying allot of market tuition but learning. I don't lose like I used to. Like you said, I need to treat it like my job and stay with it. Figuring out what strategy and asset class suits me. Still not sure.
One question. How do you find a mentor without paying $$$$ for a class and chatroom?

Am currently at the last stage and it's not easy especially spending some months journalling and practicing my strat cause last year I did those for sometimes but I got lazy and started trading without practicing and journalling cause I was seeing profits but as time went on I started to lose and that's because of I wasn't backtesting and journalling then searched for strat on UA-cam getting frustrated untill I settled down back and found out my strat us actually good...
So this year till March I will be going hardcore 😑💪😊 and become a fulllltime trader....love from Nigeria🇳🇬

Karen, thanks for this tips. Especially the last tip. I have come to the point where my immediate family member is against this trading. Telling me to go out there and do something else. Just when the whole trading thing seems to be getting clearer for me. I am a long term trader, and have tuned the strategy for my personality, both binary options trading and the swing trading strategy. Just for them to start with that preaching of go do something else instead of this. I am beginning to see what you explained in some of your initial videos . But this last one is more like an encouragement not to give up, cos I am near the light in the tunnel.

learn how the industry is set up for retail to fail (conflict of interest - hierarchy - investment banks,trading educators and motivational speakers, false internet trading & marketing impostors, learn the fundamentals, quantitative and qualitative analysis, learn statistics and probability measures, make up a set of rules, a systematic process assessing the stocks and other assets and wait for catalysts to enter. set your targets by ATR, as soft targets and you can take profit slightly above. Volatility sweet spot is 3 months to 1 year.
i started 8 months ago and have currently lost 14% of my account (I didn't use SL so on the last 2 trades I went from +16% to -14%). It felt weird to lose a lot of money within 20 days, but it's market tuition. Always nice for Karen to remind me of the right path :D
I feel content having to regain what I've lost with risking 1% and R:R 1:3- 1:5. Losing a lot of money liberated me from being greedy and attached to high win %.
Sometimes lessons need to be learned the hard way before it sinks in :)

Yes, I need to put in the work in this FX endeavour. I read those books years ago but realised I haven't been doing one thing which is taking Massive Determined Action just like Tony Robbins said. Growing up, listening to what my parents advised and seeing that the 9 to 6 job is giving dismal returns tells me that I need to change. Ever since I starting sticking to two setups that I curated based on my mistakes, I started becoming profitable. I focus on the setups. The profit is a byproduct of me following my setup. If I lose money, oh well. No strategy is 100%. However, at least I followed my rules. By following my rules, the reward is a lot greater than the risk. I now average 1-2k profit per week.

Too bad there are No mentor out there ( charge cheap ) for a beginners that have NO money BUT want to learn so they can have a better life.... But I understand all mentors have to worked their brain out to get where they are at .... CAN'T blame them for charging FEE SO HIGH.
And also because sometimes when it's free, people don't value it. And people will expect you to give them more for free. I've had people come and ask me to donate them money for their trading accounts and help fund their kids through school... every week.
