Thank you for sharing and very interesting. For sure the articulating arms is for microphone not for heavy mono digital microscope and lens. Could get away perhaps with 100x lens. The heated blade is a good idea, alas, it did not work. The rest have their uses and perhaps will be useful for some.
I filled up the pot up to the brim with tin and lead, now I can use it to desolder big components with many legs right of a PCB by putting the underside of the PCB on top of the liquid solder. Perhaps this would be useful for one of your projects as well!
