    You da Man ! I've been carving for a few yrs now , I watch many carvers but you seem to be the only one who will stop and explain what you are doing even showing and explaining on something else so you can actually see and understand how you got the effect and technique ! That sets you way ahead of the rest teaching this art !! Thankyou ,I'll be watching your vids bet on it .

    Great vids! I tend to carve in an abstract/semi recognizable style it’s about form and texture for me. As you said don’t worry what others think or say, the wood will lead if you show up, do the work, then show up some more. My business gives me the winter as an off season, if I light my stove, turn on the stereo and put myself into the current project I’m no longer bored, the blues vanish and I grow as an artist. If I keep watching your videos maybe people will say “that,s a owl!!!”

      Been tryin to get the live stream thing workin... been sick as hell past month, got test results back confirmed lyme disease ...lol... guess I'm tougher than I am smart, never took a day off, but haven't been in much shape to be makin videos. Just been goin to work &sleepin

    Your lighting is way to bright on the subject . Cant see any detail on this end, it just a bright blur . Aw there ya go when ya held it to the camera it was in focus.
