Brentford aren’t changing it to make it so people don’t feel the need to buy a new kit every season and their aim is to help them out in that respect to the current rising living prices. You may not like it, but it is intended so the fans don’t have to buy a new home kit every season. It was also put in to help sustainability and not require more shirts to be made

I respect Brentford for doing this, it's amazing what they're doing for the environment and plus unlike other clubs they're not ripping off they're fans (as a City fan)
Lazy from Umbro? Brentford made the choice themselves to help spare the cost for fans without the need to buy 2 kits for 2 seasons. Its a brilliant initiative in my opinion.

2 year kits are good imo. There’s a cost of living crisis and a lot of people find it difficult to buy an expensive new kit every year for their kids or themselves

both of you completely missed the point of why brentford didn’t release a kit. if anyone is unaware it’s because brentford didn’t want to force their fans to fork out more money for a new shirt every season. i think measures like this should become more of the norm. supporting your team (whether this be through kit sales, season tickets, etc.) should not cost as much as it does for fans, especially considering that the profitisation of modern football is very much alienating some (especially working class) fans. idk, personally i appreciate that brentford are doing at least something, but measures like this should be more common and widespread.

Lots of the “plain” kits have been purposefully made plain by the big brands with intricate detailing only included in the player spec £100+ versions. This is a dangerous trend I think because it’s making the cheaper kits more obsolete and encouraging the purchase of the crazy expensive ones.

Both of them contradicted themselves with the Liverpool and forest kits. Both kits are red with their won details to make it stand out as their cities. But thogden said that the forest one did do that and then completely discredited the Liverpool one. Also if thogdad likes the Liverpool kit how does he not like the forest kit. They are so similar and have similar meanings unique to the club

Personally I think Brentford should get spot 1 for doing the 2 year kit. The fact teams change their kit every year is a total money grab, especially when kits are getting more expensive every year. Football is suppose to be the working class' game, and yet fans are expected to buy a new kit every year for £60+. Disgraceful.
Look at the NFL. They keep the same kits for years. The cardinals haven't changed their uniform since they were founded in the 90s.
As a chelsea fan I didn’t like our kit at all but seeing it in preseason it’s actually pretty nice, also I really like Newcastle’s kit including the blue and sponsor

The thing I love abt Leicesters kit is that it is plain, classic and something which looks nice. Even they can't produce good kits every year. They also run out of ideas sometimes.

As a Leicester fan, I agree with Theo. Compared to previous shirts like 2019/20 and last season, it's just not interesting. However, it is better than Liverpool's.
