Yes, it is so true that hairdressers usually manage to cut the hair shorter than we want it to be! We end up waiting weeks for our cut to "grow out" the way it should've looked the day we got it cut and that can be so frustrating. What I love about this is that your method is very practical, and you really do end up being able to control the length so that its just right, not too long and definitely not too short.
Thank you for this well thought out step by step tutorial. Even though I don't have my hair cut like yours or V's I know I can use your tips for measuring and getting something I would like to try, that softer fringe look without the heavy layering.
