Predicting a Portugal vs Netherlands match is very interesting. They played each other the last time there was a tournament in Germany in 2006, the match was so dirty that it has it's own page on Wikipedia (known as The Battle of Nuremberg). 4 red cards and 16 yellows. Those numbers stood as a record until Netherlands vs Argentina at the last World Cup.

Solid predictions all around I’d say! I think mine line up pretty well with what you went for (from what I can remember lol)
I feel like every summer that ends up being one of the best always has a major international tournament. 2014, 2016, 2018, 2021, I always hear people say those were the best summers over the last decade and it makes sense LOL☺😝😁
My predictions:
Hot Takes- Denmark makes the final, Croatia does not enter knockout stages, Germany lose in ro16.
France win it all beating Denmark 3-1
Opening goal minute 15 camavinga volley from griezmann cross
Mbappe pen at minute 40 after Vestergaard fouls dembele at the edge of the box
Hojlund scores top right corner from edge of the box minute 51 after short pass back from eriksen
Zaire emery scores tap in off deflection of christensen header to clear the ball after a griezzman shot minute 66

Despite the outside noise assuming us English folk think we'll cruise it, we generally don't have much hope beyond maybe the semis, always nice to see someone with more confidence than ours, though 😅
Great videos as always, I'd like to say:
- Georgia, Slovenia and Austria will definitely pass the group stage, Turkey, Scotland and Czechia are more unlikely to pass imo
- One between England, Germany and Spain may flop hard
- Italy against all odds may reach the final again
- France is the favourite but in tournaments like this one single wrong match can ruin everything (as already happened in 2021 against Switzerland)

Also what’s ur reason behind the first point? Georgia, Slovenia and Austria are the worst in their group and Turkey are pretty decent in a bad group
Group A is like a free for all. Could be what we expect but the exact opposite can happen too.

I've got France beating England and Germany beating Poland to make the finals, with France taking it. I'm kinda just resigned to them winning it but would LOVE to be proven wrong (hopefully by England but I'm not counting on it)
I'm pretty pumped for the Euros, but I'm more excited to find out what South Shields have been up to...

Our defence (England) is diabolical - our first choice CB is injured, first choice LB is injured, our first choice RB will be playing LB, and it's likely to be a partnership of Guehi and Konsa which might not even be strong enough to escape the group. Rest of the 11 is fantastic but defence is not anywhere near good enough

ASMR suggestion: you should make a fantasy EURO team and talk us through selecting and picking players with budget and costs, etc. i think that would be really fascinating. to see which players you rate the best - especially when you have a limited budget. whether you choose a strong XI or have a good team with a great bench. etc.
i love picking fantasy teams during international tourneys. 😊
I like the Euros as a chance to watch good football while having low fan stakes for me since I have basically no connection to any of the sides competing, and can basically flip a coin for who to cheer for in a given game, or pick an underdog and hope maybe this will be the day for something big. At least you know one prediction will be right ifyou've predicted England to win and not to win it! 😀As an England fan I would hope we can get to the semis but can't see the defence seeing us through against France. We don't tend to be the team to back in those big knockout games either.

it's just me or Switzerland it's not that bad like I'm from Portugal and when we play against them I know that will be or a draw or a lost
I think we will get a shock winner. None of the big countries are convincing. England will bottle it at the quarters as always. France are nothing special. Portugal too old. Spain, Italy, Germany not a patch on the teams they used to be. I'll take a stab in the dark and say the Netherlands will win it.

Southgate just doesnt have any tactical awareness to beat france, hes a glorified adult day care supervisor. The only attacking player that plays as well for Southgate as he does for his club is Bellingham. Its evident that the other players performance levels take a larger drop down when theyre on the international stage.

I think leaving Poland out is fine. their best player, Lewandowski, will miss at least one of their games. and he’ll be harboring a bicep injury the whole tourney
Poland plays better football when Lewandowski isn't on the pitch. I am Polish and always been doubtful about this team, but recent games without him have been the best I've seen in a long while by Poland. He just doesn't have the hunger and is nowhere near as impactful as other world class players for their national teams are.

I hope your prediction is right! I'm English though so I'm naturally cynical and don't think we will. I think our defence isn't great and Pickford's distribution worries me, but we do have the best no.9 in the world (imo) so who knows.

WRT our bench players, they are much better for club than country but that is reflective of gareth southgates "tactics" than the players imo. The squad itself is great, even the defenders, its southgate that ruins it.

Yeah it’s a tough topic when you have player like maguire who might be playing shit for Utd but well for England and the opposite for some players. We also have a lot of new players (Gordon, Watkins etc.) so who knows how they perform internationally. I just thought the original guy must be lacking a few brain cells to say we don’t have anyone on the bench.
