I did that a lot of nights dealing with hyperacusis for months, looking at my sleeping medication pot, I had to take some out and put the pot in another room to not swallow them all. Months after of that every night I went for a suicide decision walk, but I was too scared to find out what was waiting for me on the other side and told God (I was agnostic) that whatever the reward was for dealing with this crap better be worth it because I wanted to find out what it was. I'm still finding out, but God gave me a gift to get me through those difficult times. A near-death starving 2 week old kitten was on our property, and the day we brought it inside, the very next day it snowed and was very cold. The way it survived also was a miracle because it lived in the engine of our car to stay warm, and that car drove around a lot. Because of that kitten, we found out it had a brother, and we went to a animal shelter place to buy him so they could be together, but really I think he loves me more than his brother. I got a kitty I could hug and get my focus off myself. Don't listen to your thoughts telling you to succumb and it'll be all better, that life isn't worth living. God has given you a child for this purpose to make you WANT to live. Seek the Lord and not your thoughts.
When I was in high school I was bullied and after 3 years of suffering and being alone I was at the end of it all. The whole world seemed dark and it seem like there would be no escape. But behold, a light a shinning hope in the books of the Bibles that was in my room salvation. For in the life of Gods peoples I saw a common ground, I saw the light of hope through trials. I had a dream that I would be a knight for the kingdom of GOD. Even tho I didn’t understand it kept me going and now here I am stronger than ever. “Last hope is the best hope” is a catchy phrase. Unfortunately, if your last hope is “divine” hope it may as well be no hope. What most people who need help don’t seem to realize is when someone finds purpose or “salvation” or redemption, etc they’ve made the change themselves simply as a result that meshes with their worldview and personal needs. There is no such thing as divine intervention. People change themselves because they want to change. The Will to change is the driving force and that comes from the Self, no god.

I did that a lot of nights dealing with hyperacusis for months, looking at my sleeping medication pot, I had to take some out and put the pot in another room to not swallow them all. Months after of that every night I went for a suicide decision walk, but I was too scared to find out what was waiting for me on the other side and told God (I was agnostic) that whatever the reward was for dealing with this crap better be worth it because I wanted to find out what it was. I'm still finding out, but God gave me a gift to get me through those difficult times. A near-death starving 2 week old kitten was on our property, and the day we brought it inside, the very next day it snowed and was very cold. The way it survived also was a miracle because it lived in the engine of our car to stay warm, and that car drove around a lot. Because of that kitten, we found out it had a brother, and we went to a animal shelter place to buy him so they could be together, but really I think he loves me more than his brother. I got a kitty I could hug and get my focus off myself.

When I was in high school I was bullied and after 3 years of suffering and being alone I was at the end of it all. The whole world seemed dark and it seem like there would be no escape. But behold, a light a shinning hope in the books of the Bibles that was in my room salvation. For in the life of Gods peoples I saw a common ground, I saw the light of hope through trials. I had a dream that I would be a knight for the kingdom of GOD. Even tho I didn’t understand it kept me going and now here I am stronger than ever. “Last hope is the best hope” is a catchy phrase. Unfortunately, if your last hope is “divine” hope it may as well be no hope. What most people who need help don’t seem to realize is when someone finds purpose or “salvation” or redemption, etc they’ve made the change themselves simply as a result that meshes with their worldview and personal needs. There is no such thing as divine intervention. People change themselves because they want to change. The Will to change is the driving force and that comes from the Self, no god.
