That is so cool. I am brand new to painting. I want to paint my honda shadow exactly like that, but I don't understand what the coat of spray adhesive was for..I have never seen that done before. What does it do?

I followed all of your steps the job looks awesome until you put a light or sungun on it . I see white specs. Is that just the way it cures? I sanded the clear and polished. To the eye it is excellent. Can you show your work after the final polish and see if you have any specs? I want my project to look awesome

Nice. Instead of painting the flames on after the tank is painted base. You’re doing it in reverse. Painting the background on after the flame colour is on

It is a preparation for the top coat.

what was in the little white pump sprayer? alcohol cleaner? just curious
It's a wax remover. It is to remove sebum.
It's a little different from an alcohol cleaner.
