@@bigboyfinesse8310 The question is: Are suboptimal big Drops better or worse than the 15th or so Two-drop...i Think around Pick 18 to 20 he definetely should have picked more middle Drops or the Risk of Running out of cards would be too High...Fantastic Early Game but in the Lategame you don't want to topdeck 2 drop After 2 drop..;)
16:26 I think focusing on how your opponent could juke you is just wrong there. You gain so much by picking the box and lose so little by not picking the book. When it's 1 cost versus 10 cost of value it's just silly not to go for the 10.
In my head i jokingly predicted that the opponent was holding a denathrius (worst case scenario in that game would be a big denathrius), and after it was played i was like "might as well play around a second one" WHEN I SAW THE SECOND ONE I BURSTED OUT LAUGHING
@@jofipa9953 Same. For better or for worse my standard at all times in hearthstone nowadays is "Assume big denathrius" as your worst case. Don't usually need to worry about the second one...
16:41 I feel like there are two ways to pick when your opponent plays a suspicious minion. First, the mind-games strat which is trying to understand your opponent's position and what they would pick based on what they think you would pick (often not best card). Second is when there is one card that is so much more powerful/value than the other picks, you have to pick that one because if your opponent wasn't mind-gaming (which is a decent percentage of the time) you might get blown out by that card. On a side note, I get the fun element of these cards but the 1 mana suspicious minions are kinda OP. Especially in arena but I think the mage one sees play in constructed too.
Yeh, I like this. It's a game of balancing out how bad it would be if your opponent played one card or the other. Is it really gonna be a big deal if the opponent plays a primordial studies? Then when you're playing the cards it's actually an interesting tell when your opponent guesses incorrectly. You know they would prefer a different card than the one you chose.
Yeah, you're bang on here. It's a much more nuanced pick than Trump touches on - it's not all about the mind-game aspect when it comes to choices like this. And yeah, these cards are definitely too cheap in arena for how much value they give.
You missed the aspect of a card being useful for you, but not for your opponent. Such as a shield slam when the opponent cannot easily get armour, but you can. Or ancient mysteries when your deck has a secret, and your opponent's class wouldn't
"Everyone picks the box" >immediately mistakenly doesn't count the opponent as part of the 'everyone' who would definitely pick the box because of the yogg factor.
The second opponent made me so happy! Picked the box when it was offered, then did the probably suboptimal play of playing the two ghosts facing each other for the flavor. Theyre my hero.
I never really understood forgetting whether deathrattle or reborn happens first. I just remember that every reborn minion with a deathrattle, like the 3/4 taunt that restores 3 on death, has its deathrattle trigger first.
Isn't Fireball Taunt, swing weapon into 0/4, then double trade the play at 25:40? We just saw the opponent pick a Fireball, so we should minimize incoming damage, no? The way Trump played it, he took 7 damage guaranteed, leaving him 3 hp outside of Fireball range. At this point, the weapon charge is pretty much useless short term either way.
Yeah he played Flame Ward spending mana without thinking about that first. He wasn’t even considering Kidnap in that play. Which is a shame since he played around Splitting Image perfectly the turn before.
On the second of the two Suspicious picks on the mage: I actually don't think either of you misplayed. Mage picked what they needed knowing that either pick is feasible, Trump used the info available to him to make as educated a guess as possible.
46:36 the misplay is that he missed lethal. equip weapon, taskmaster the mummy, 2nd taskmaster anything but the mummy = 25 damage with no board space remaining.
I'd like to think that when Akali comes down and yells "Flee, little cretins" or whatever it says, that it's actually referring to the fleas it has and it's very itchy. 😶
Am I crazy thinking a lot of the opponents are people at least intentionally queuing into trump? As he doesn't hide the name of opponent or play with much of a delay.
When Trump plays Discover and it suddenly cuts to the end of the rope moment are always the best parts of arena vidoes :^)
He will make roping great again
Aye nice profile pic
My anxiety skyrockets seeing him play to the last second of rope every turn
I always feel pity towards the opponent, but genius takes time
Holy moly the first game with the 2 Denathriuses
How is that even possible!
I think they didn't focus on that enough
unreal
And still lost! Lol
Started to hate this card this arena season, leaves you with almost zero chance to win after it is played against you
@@uri8107 yeah I think they should ban it in arena, it’s so unfun to play against
"Am I a control deck? I think I am" picks half of deck of 2-drops
To his defense though he had very bad options. Half of them were bad big drops and half of them were early game cards.

@@mbubu88 yeah i agree. i would have picked some picks differently too but it happened to be that his picks were terrible in general lol
Eh, gotta pick the best of what you're given. He was a control deck at that point, but that all changed when the 2-drop nation attacked.
I think all decks he ever picked were control decks

overthinking things is the Trump way
2 Denathriuses trying to Denathrius Denathrius is exactly something Denathrius would do
SPOILER Game 1
That second Denathrius had me laighing out loud. Quite the insane draft!
I saw it live and I was like "WTF is this guy deck?"
And he might have even won the game if he didn‘t keep him in Hand for a turn

**picks the book**
Even if I knew that my opponent would know I would pick the box I'd pick the box. Lol

Yeah he outsmarted himself lol
24:50 playing around Splitting Image was a pretty clutch play by Trump.
The titles of these videos never drop in quality. Bless Jens!
Arena content best content. Subbed for 10 years and i rarely watch anything else
10:22 was only thinking that this is going to be very bad when his opponent plays Denathrius lmao.
Okay and 2nd is ridiculous how is it even possible
in the last game dying because he refuses to sacrifice the sinrunner to a single 4/4 is the most trump thing ever lmao

37:29 that physically hurt
i busted out laughing so hard there he got so robbed lmfao
Not coining out that fairy dragon last game cost him the whole game 😂
1:14:32 the greed was just next level. How dare you hero power and pass here
I swear, any time Trump says "I can afford to take the damage" or something similar he always ends up losing. Undeniable greed.

What addon does he use for the Arena draft?

That first game double D was insane lol
First game was completely bananas. Awesome
We need 3 denathriusees
i have too many two drops, says he as he picks more two drops

Wtf that priest deck at 4-1 was insane !!
Kumiko is the main perspective character from Hibike! Euphonium if that helps.
Last game turn 5 pass.. what on earth is trump thinking
It's kind of shitty for them not to make a solo adventure for this set.... would of been nice
54:30 the spell MUST RESOLVE before any other effects come in to play.
If your opponents discovers "the wrong thing" because you then subsequently can't guess it, maybe they've picked the right thing?
we can t turn off golden cards anymore?
How the hell did that mage make it so far with so many bad plays?
Really good cards?
Haha 😁
Appreciated.
20:13 why does Trumps 8/8 say TEMP??
Damn some of those opponents had disgusting turns, especially the first 4 win guy.
46:16 missed lethal
1:09:57 Less than one percent chance for all three of those minion buffs to go to the stupid low-value Murmy card. Disgusting to behold.
0-0 start double Denatrius what is arena
The last game is just typical Trump 🙄 total throw
37:30 this is the reason why I stopped playing Hearthstone altogether
Trump played like a complete clown in that last game ☹
Me be that kind of smorc
Absolutely a miracle trump won that first game

Even if you try, you probably won't get them especially in arena
Game one, two sire denathrius... what the actual fuck
if i see a title where trump says something about warrior, weapon, and face, i know that is most likely not a good strategy
MORE ARENA PLS
