Kristen, this video was just awesome in a myriad of ways and on every creative level. Right from the start, you had my attention with the momentary photographic insert of you in your new dress. The fabric was so lovely: its colors perfectly mixed to be truly eye catching. Just a stunning combination of model, pattern style, fabric selection and image projected in the beautiful video background. Please do not think me to be overly effusive. This exciting intro never lost momentum from start to finish. Your wide variety of content ultimately won me over. Not just because of the number of choices in shirt dress patterns presented, but moreover because of your balanced comprehensive review of what seemed to be a fair swath of the entire industry's shirt dress pattern offerings--whether it be produced from the big four or indie companies. I really would never have believed that one kind of dress style could actually look so different, so intriguing, and so particularly gorgeous on so many women being their own kind of beautiful selves. If ever their was an argument won hands down for the fact that beauty isn't just in the eye of the beholder but is in every woman, through the ages, sizes, and uniquely designed people in their customizable shirt dresses that were lovingly created by designers of fabric and styles for them...this video does it. What an absolute montage of exquisitely powerful reasons to sew for oneself for most any occasion. Thanks for taking us through so many patterns, a shirt dress is so versatile, for us with the upcoming Spring/Summer and the Northern hemisphere with their cold weather ahead. My favorite dress is a shirt dress. Very many years ago, I made an aqua colored dress with a same color chiffon type over dress. (I am not explaining it well). It looked fabulous and was very flattering. I even wore it to a wedding.
