The thing I like the most of Gryphon, is that he speaks the language of his opponent.
The devs could had choose to do a WM again and made him speak English (or basic in Star wars terms lol), but it fits him well.

jesus this characters movements feel lighting speed on console. yet another hero to adjust to. 😌
To me his animations feel janky/stiff.
I don’t like him cause of how much of a cluster of other characters he is he doesn’t feel unique he just feels like a combination of reused animations with tweets and a different voice actor

I agree, not to mention makes law bringer obsolete as a tanky pole arm character, he eclipses him in everything. Speed, chains, has a dodge attack and a kick that confirms a heavy a better running heavy...not only

It makes sense since he learned from the other factions how to be a better warrior. And it doesn’t change on who is attacking, just different attacks, like other character voice lines

The most awesome thing about Gryphon is how his damage numbers seem to existed already before the CCU and never got changed since then.
Faraam doesn't stab you in the back, he remembers your ganking and retaliates.

I must say that at first I wasn't that exited for him, but now I'm really excited.
Just wondering, does anyone else feel like his kick is a bit fast? I'm on xbox, but I feel like his kick is pretty op, and it promotes spam for him. If you don't know what I'm talking about, he has a double light combo, or the heavy light, you also can't dodge early because of the undodgeable light, so it's pretty hard to dodge the kick.
All I'm saying is that they should prob slow it down a bit, or fix the following: Deflects, blocks, crushing counters, parries, and everything to do with defence really.
Honestly I played against mostly all gryphons yesterday and after an hour or two I pretty much have the timing down for it, usually by a certain point if I don't see an indicator I'll know he's kicking. It can be a bit annoying in hanks though
@@Beanpolr well then it's prob just that I'm not used to him then. But I do try dodging the second he does any combo that can lead to a kick. I honestly like him as a character, he is just a bit op if teamed with a light slam conq, and you are constantly fighting a 1v2 to 1v4 bc your teammate think it's normal for 3 people to boost a point.
If you haven't gotten the light slam conq and griffin combo before, it's pretty OP. (Unless you are a BP) basically what it is, the conq starts with a bash (or a gb if they want to mind game) and they begin their light spam after the bash, then the griffin starts doing his double light kick combo on loop. If you parry the conq light, you get hit by the kick, if you try to dodge or roll, you get caught by the light spam, and even if you get the parry on the conq before the griffin can kick, he can just bash you, letting the conq continue.
Completely. If you're put in a corner, you're going to die or if you light spam when you are on the ground, you're going to get kicked. Really annoying
The fact this animal can get 28 damage almost completely free because of a leg kick is shocking.. that leg kick he has is way to fast to be able to award him 28 damage. This should actually be nerfed straight up.
*I play on console so it may be easy to react to on pc, but on console it is an absolute nightmare
Its really not i never have s problem with it because they almost always go for a kick any chance they get yhu just gotta either predict it or dodge with reaction because its def reactable
@@htx.dee8k204 Not with 30 fps man trust me its horrible. His kick is barely reactable, it wouldn't be such a problem if he only delivered 15 damage but 28? That's absolutely insane. Imagine getting 28 damage free from a black prior shield bash or tiandi palm strike. It doesn't make sense
its completely unreactable even on pc,500 ms bashes after the ccu are not reactable.

Holden was never really into Apollyon's eternal war thing so after her death he was trying to get peace (campaign ending) but since the multiplayer takes place after the campaign it means he failed.
He left the knights and wandered around the world and was welcomed by people from the other factions that also wanted peace and learned with them.
It makes sense for him to get back to the fight with the whole Apollyon junior thing fucking everything up just when the factions where finally wanting to end the war (Hope season).
He is the leader the Chimera alliance needed.
I am calling it now, Faraam gonna main this hero. He fights a lot like Kensei, and his finishers mixup is better.
Gryphons cool and all but I’m just so happy I can be a PK main again, and maybe pick up Warden and Nobushi
I’ve been playing the testing grounds with Gryphon and I will say, PK is a beast now

Faraam looks like the damn protagonist. Its like he has plot armor with any character he plays, its crazy.
He honestly doesn't seem like he needs that big of a nerf if any, he seems pretty fair, at least you don't constantly get hit with poison then ganked into oblivion if you fight him, so far I really like him, a welcome to the knights, but seriously ubi needs to give the other factions heroes stat, the vikings especially.

It’s so good tho, 60 damage is no joke and if someone pops fear then it’s almost 90 damage and heals everyone in it, it’s pretty nutty

There is no skill needed in playing gryphon, his dodge is too op, his neutral “lawbringer shove” that is faster than a light. His kick which you can easily activate is a free top heavy. Basically free damage

I was really confused why it sounded like he was speaking Mongolian, interesting find on the FH Wiki;
“The Gryphon Hero is a polyglot, a multilingual individual who can either actively or passively communicate in multiple languages. This is emulated in-game where the Hero will speak specific lines in either Latin, Icelandic, Japanese or Chinese.”
Personally don’t like the character cause it just feels lazy and like they but a bunch of moves from other characters into one and made him “unique” by having him say the voice lines and use a diffuse pin but he just feels like a recycled character if anything

I'm really enjoying him. Of all the DLC heroes he has a nice set of moves. His executions so far are excellent. Now if we could get a Shinobi damage and stamina boost...

@@luke.4317 relax. He has a decent kit, there is definitely room for improvement. Ubi won't rework him apparently, so why not just simply give him more stamina and up his damage a bit? No reason Tiandi should have the ability to dance around the battlefield yet shinobi moves twice and goes OOS.

I've just thought of a hero that I think would be interesting for the game. What would everyone think of a Bare knuckles fighter?
Bc there was always cases in these kind of fights that combatants would lose weapons. Why not have one that prefers to fight hand to hand
He has voice lines from high lander, kensi and lawbringer. And reused animations. Tbh for the most part hes decent. But he feels to much like a jj and lb cos of the reused animations. It dosnt bother me as much as it disappoints me cos they was lazy and reused most animations and changed a phew frames on them. But he's fun to play at least 🤷♂️
Last thing we needed was another mix up intensive character, now the enemy teams of Faraam will never know victory smh
