The thing about Shotgun spread is that there are some situations where it's beneficial to have it wider. If you have a wide spread, that will allow you to hit multiple enemies from further away and you can make an argument that when it comes to fighting large enemies like El Gigante, the spread will help you hit weak points easier or just not be a detriment in any way because they are likely big enough to get blasted with the full spread regardless of how tight it is. In that case The Striker is excellent at just spraying down a crowd of dudes with it's ammo capacity, fire rate, and spread pattern. The Riot Gun is actually the worst shotgun for fighting a group of regular goons, contrary to it's namesake because it's spread is so tight, but it does have the best Single Target DPS and excellent Single Target Burst damage. The Skull Shaker is what I'd call "The Panic Button" because it's big damage per shot and wide spread will really bring the heat when you're surrounded if it doesn't outright delete every enemy in front of you, a good pick for the Cabin section with Luis. But the one I've been vibing with the most was the W-870 because it did the most damage per shot and felt like a great all-rounder, the spread is wide enough to hit 2 guys standing next to each other if you aim in between then, but tight enough to center on a guy to take pot shots if you're shooting from further away, plus it hits bosses and elites hard and is forgiving when firing at weak points or plagas headed enemies. I feel all the shotguns have a use-case dependent on your playstyle, and it's not about which is best, but rather which one you vibe with the most or what one rounds out your loadout the best. @@ratso8193 but in the OG game when you upgraded ammo capacity it gave you a full mag for free so if you waited to upgrade till your weapons were empty you would get free ammo the old striker exclusive gave you a free 100 rounds
If it had the big loop for the flip cocking it would be dead on other than that it is a perfect replica. I bought and built an 1887 replica it’s a lot of fun but pumps are better
I know that its number is the highest one.. but in practice, way too often I'd get in an emergency and try to blast my way out, and.. they'd shrug it off. Despite that big number. Now, maybe I wasn't close enough. But the other shotguns would clear a path just fine regardless.
Another benefit of running the Striker maxed out is that it lets you dump all your ammo but also lets you slot in all your ammo too. Running stacks of shotgun ammo ruins inventory space for all the larger shotguns; however, like you said, the Skull Shaker alleviates all of the inventory space problems.
in the original, it wasn't just the ditman glitch that made the striker one of the best weapons to have, it was also the fact it took less space than the other 2 options and the fact the merchant would give you a free clip refill on every ammo capacity upgrade. by the time you upgrade to 100, it gets to the point you could allocate one slot to shotgun ammo and sell off the rest to make space for health and other ammo types instead and in the original there was no typewriter storage, things were either on leon or they weren't. Also as said in the video, long as any pellet hit the target it dealt the same damage.
I agree -- I recently tried the skull shaker for the 1st time on my 6th playthrough and maxed it out. I effing love this thing. It's so powerful (headshot machine), and it's sooo effing compact. It's great with the cat ears. My fav shotgun by far.
The spread of the Riot Gun should be the baseline for more shotguns in gaming, the comical blunderbuss-like spread of so many shotguns in gaming has annoyed me for as long as I can remember.
New subscriber here. I love how you also gave a little more insight on the weapons vs the original so that newcomers who never experienced the original game can get a sense how Capcom went and balanced the weapons for the Remake. Keep up the great content!
I watched alot of re4 remake weapons most of them have different opinions but this game very balanced the guns so it up to you the players to find out what you like
There is apparently a hidden benefit to capacity in that the game judges ammo drops based on the amount of spare ammo in your inventory, not counting what is loaded into your weapon. So the Striker's main benefit is being the most compact shotgun aside from the Skull Shaker while also holding a lot of ammo to try and influence the RNG to... drop more shotgun ammo. It's a weird overlap but apparently the design intent? I'm definitely a Riot Gun believer and the Skull Shaker is beyond stylish, but I would like to take the Striker on a run once.
Yeah the first time I used the Assault Rifle I got so much rifle ammo. Had a full 32 mag in no time. I guess it's a pretty good way to make the fast firing weapons more viable.
The capacity is great on the striker as ammo drops depend on the ammo you have in your case. Meaning you have 48 rounds stocked up and the game still drops shotgun shells regularly. Makes the cqbr great as well.
Finished my first run with Striker for nostalgia sake. I found myself getting into close encounters a lot anyways, and boy did it ever crowd control entire rooms with a single shot. Also made stupidly short work of the boar headed enemies.
I feel like each shotgun is good for different things The classic is just a single target powerhouse, peak ammo efficiency and decent space economy. You want big numbies, you pick that one The riot gun is more for taking out multiple dangerous targets quickly. It has great accuracy, fire rate and damage, but that accuracy also makes it the worst shotgun in the game for getting a horde of peasants off your ass. its also the biggest shotgun The striker is (excluding preorder weapons) the most compact of all the shotguns and holds the most ammo (to the point that the space its ammo would take up means it would be just as big as the other shotguns, which is a big plus for me since im a massive hoarder), but also does the least damage and has the worst spread. The thing is, that worst spread also makes it god tier for making space. Each blast won't do much damage and youll go through your ammo fast, but it hits so many people at once that in a second or two the whole village will be on their asses wondering if anyone got the plate for that truck that ran them over.
It depends it's between the riot shot gun and the striker. If you're good with your shots and good at parrying the riot gun will not fail you. But if you're not familiar with the parrying system and you constantly find yourself getting swarmed the striker will do good for crowd controlling.
The OG RE4 used to have THE one Shotgun that out-powered all others in almost every category, it was the DeFacto Shotgun, which was the Striker, so it was counterintuitive to get the lesser Shotgun, that made it so the other 2 Shotguns were useless for the most part, except if you wanted to play with their “Exclusive” upgrades which would still not render them as much useful as just a straight Striker throughout most of the playthroughs. Now with the remake, I found myself favoring the Riot Gun more so than the Striker, due to its longer range shots, but that doesn’t come with its concessions relative to the Striker, which it has much less bullet capacity & damage, this gives every weapon its own advantages/weaknesses. I like that so much about this remake.
I forced myself to use the riot gun and striker on different runs and the striker is so short ranged I basically only panic use it going to try to skullshaker, never considered the inventory space till now
That's fine man.. I hate getting too powerful too quick. Part of the fun for me is the struggle.. I wanna be running for my life, surviving by eating this egg on the ground. I don't blasting fools away like some kinda hero!
I was doing 2 different playthroughs side by side, since I wanted to use different guns and the Skull Shaker is easily the worst gun to run in a NG setting since it's worse then W-870 or Riot Guns until you get past the hedge maze and unlock all the upgrades. The low damage and high spread cause it to eat up a ton of ammo during the early game and starves out your other weapons to keep crafting shotgun rounds to feed it
Depends on your style of gameplay which shotgun is the best for you. It's meant to suppress a group of mobs Infront of you, and push them back in close quarters, and for this the striker is king, literally cutting them in half.
Doing a run with Matilda right now and I can tell you this thing shreds boss like a TMP with stock on crack. The only downside is having too much fun and realizing you are running a bit low on the handgun ammo
Exactly it's all about what you value in your shotguns plus the game gives you more ammo the less you have in the case aka 48 rounds in your shotgun means more shotgun ammo in general.
Shotguns are good for giving you some space, stunning stronger foes and finishing them off quickly. With the different shotguns you pretty much trade range for the ability to hit multiple opponents and knocking them down.
In Dead Island, shotguns were basically your super-weapons. In other games, that role would be played by a grenade launcher or rocket launcher. In Dead Island, shotguns trample upon everything! They're overkill for ordinary zombies and bandits. Best reserved for badasses, bosses, and minibosses. They were balanced with other guns by their limited reserve ammo.
I use the CQBR more than any weapon because of how broken it is. When fully upgraded, it can delete any normal enemy in one headshot, any mini boss in 3 seconds, and it can kill Salazar in less than half a clip if you hit his eye with every shot. You need to be really careful when using it though because you can shred all of your rifle ammo if you hold down the trigger for a bit, but that's no problem if you have cat ears or commit almost of your gunpowder/L resources to rifle ammo
Striker, as mentioned in the video is NOWHERE near as good in the OG. I personally use shotguns as a crowd control rather than to just obliterate a target. It really has helped me in Novestador room and in island tbh because you get swarmed so easily 😂
Nice comparisons. For me the best shotgun is riot gun. It helped me with pro s+. My load out was: Riot gun Sentinel 9 Killer 7 And the most op weapon The Sweeper lol
I will say the striker has some real benefits on a first playthrough where you might not have the funds to get all the exclusive upgrades. It has the highest standard damage output of the shotguns and I would say you shouldn't treat it like the other shotguns. I basically only use it for extreme crowd control where the spread can tag 3-5 enemies. It's also a great Krauser killer. Last use I have for it is shredding the first regenerators(before you get the special scope) to stagger reveal their weak spots.
Using that against Krauser was amazing just getting 6 point blank shots into him was fun, but yeah I use it for crowd control to the point where I get a bunch of enemies to come after me in a straight line and just unload
I wish the W870 had the same tight spread as the Riot Gun. It's easily the best looking shotgun (RE4 Riot Gun looked good, remake Riot Gun looks awful). I hate being forced to use Riot Gun because it's objectively the best for maximum damage (all pellets hitting target).
I consider the wide spread of the Striker to be a perk, not a flaw. I have rifles and magnums for damage, a handgun for exploiting weakpoints and standard enemies, and an SMG for continuous damage against a single target. What I want from my shotgun is _crowd control._ If I'm trapped in close quarters with multiple enemies, every other gun can only shoot one target at once, no matter the rate of fire. A shotgun with a wide spread can stagger half a dozen foes with every pull of the trigger, giving you critical seconds to escape or counterattack. (In the original, this was especially prevalent during the "wrecking ball" segment of the Island section).
Ive done the test. The damage is the total of the pellets. You can really tell when you are up close trying to hit one guy then trying to hit several and not killing any of them but staggering them lol
Spread on the Strikers make it better for Crowd Control. If you're getting Swarmed, there's a good chance you can use it to stagger just about everyone in front of you with a shot or two. Riots better for doing Strong damage on single target, as well as letting you play safe from the target since you get a little more range.
I use striker only because the riot literally makes it pointless to carry another gun sometimes especially in a cat ears playthrough you dont need any other weapon.
You know, something that's great about this remake is the ability to store weapons. It gives you so much more flexibility when it comes to choosing your kit. I've been doing replays of Standard and trying out different guns in different situations, and I'm leaning towards the Riot Gun for my general purpose shotgun, but I've found that the Striker absolutely mulches Krauser. I didn't have much luck trying to knife him like in the original, but once you get a stun in on him the Striker's incredible capacity and rate of fire pumps out huge damage in very short order. The wide spread isn't a hindrance since Krauser is basically always in your face anyway. I'm still refining my technique of course, so I'm open to better or more efficient strategies.
There's really no bad options in the game. Everything is viable and has it's pro's and con's. It all just depends on what YOU want. Personally I would recommend the Skull Shaker (if you have it) or the Riot Gun. Both are just my personal favorites out of the situations i find myself in. 🙂
I think the skull shaker is the best. 19 damage max with the upgrade ticket and 6 Shots with a ridiculous spread and it’s way smaller so less space taken ip
The way I did was yes the W-870 is the most powerful however it takes up the most inventory space. I use the Skullshaker. It takes the lest amount of inventory space. Yes it's not as powerful but once you get the clip, reload speed & fire rate upgraded you're pumping out 2 or 3 blasts in the time it takes the others to fire once. The shotgun is only good for one reason & that's crowd control when u r surrounded.
It was the skull shaker at first, but the W-870 wins it for me. The gun is the definition of simple but cool looking, and it reminds me so much of the Classic DOOM shotgun in both sound and feel.
This dude is a major clutch tbh I had a general idea of what weapons were the best apart from pistols. I wasted all my money on my first playthrough of hardcore I bought every new weapon sold the old one then had to resell the new one and rebuy the old one by the end of the game I had like 10k pestas
Great video. I personally like the Skull Shaker and Wooden 870. The Striker disappointed me in the remake. In the OG, it was similar but significantly more powerful , and you can't beat that 100 round drum. In the remake, it is a mere shadow of its former self. I bought it on my first playthrough and regretted it, sold it, and upgraded the Skull Shaker.
I was excited to get the Striker when I did my first playthrough and no lie went back to the Riot Gun before completing the game. The Riotgun just gets the job done for me in terms of shotguns.
DUDE i just noticed. Everybody, hit "examine" on the Riot Gun. You can see it has a ghost load! The ghost load is done, generally in the USMC, by: loading a full tube, DROP a shell into the elevator tray, and while the bolt is pulled to the rear, chamber a shell by hand. But do not pull the bolt all the way back.
Honestly didn't get much use out of the shotguns in any of my playthroughs until I had the cat ears for my professional without bonus weapons run so I could get the handcannon, before that in all my playthroughs I was really stingy with the shotgun and rifle ammo, always saving them for when I actually NEEDED them, I mean it made the bosses really easy since I always had the best ammo for them (although I always bought a rocket launcher for verdugo). I preferred the standard shotgun you get in the village, I mean it had the best damage, and frankly the spread wasn't a problem because I always use the shotgun at extreme close range.
Idk if this is true but it looks like Leon spins the Skull Shaker to reload the lever action - easter egg to T2 movie? I don't have a preference of shotgun, honestly, each serves its own purpose. The pump action will always be slower at rate of fire but is more reliable. I do like the M3 in this game, you can tell they really wanted that semi-auto to shine and it really does. Also, the striker was known as the "street sweeper" due to its wide range and ya'll can appreciate it more this time lol.
most of these weapon tips dont work when playing on hardcore or higher, where you have to get the best our of every shot, so weak weapons like skull shaker are just useless, riot gun is ok but i wouldnt call it the best, shotguns should be used to push enemies away and give breathing space, shotgun really is only used as a "dps" weapon very early in the game, once you get rifle or tmp it just becomes a rushing in weapon and pushing enemies away weapon, which the riot gun cant do well because of the very tight spread
To be clear, the skull shaker and sentinel 9 pistol are both NOT considered bonus weapons, only dlc. I know this because I used them both to play professional mode amd was still able to unlock the handcannon. The only weapons that are considered "bonus" are the primal knife, Chicago sweeper, handcannon and infinite rocket launcher.
I didn't really bother with the shotguns in game except for quick CC when I was in a bad spot, 870 until I had the striker and only really use it for a group that got to close in a tight spot. When the game launched I kept seeing everywhere that the Skull Shaker was a terrible weapon and not to bother with it, low ammo and lower damage compared to 870 and riot. I just kept using the Skull Shaker though because I read the stats and figured out what I would be able to do with it with it maxed out. I think people didn't take into account that if you reload properly you could fight almost non-stop, the staggering mixed with fast firing and reloading is great.
Saw another video and the person said the Skull Shaker is the worst shotgun. But after seeing it in this video, it is actually a pretty great gun, especially early on when you lack inventory space. Definitely leave the original first shotgun, just not that good, especially with bad rate of fire even fully upgraded... Having the Riot gun is definitely worth having for tight precision and damage control, especially for really tough enemies and bosses. Not going to waste money on the striker, unless have extra money from playthroughs and fully upgrading guns.
Fully upgraded Striker is actually only two blocks larger than the skull shaker... Until you have more than 48 shotgun shells in your inventory. Which I don't think I ever have
I liked the Striker more in the original. The Riot Gun is my favorite in RE4 remake. I like the way it looks too. Can't get ammo from upgrading weapons anymore, so Riot Gun.
The riot shotgun was arguably the best shotgun in classic resident evil 4. Main reason being it's accuracy and range with the pellets will most of the time land on your target.
The Riot Gun was actually very good in the OG, too - my top favorite. It's just that the Striker was very decent for the smaller size in addition to the speed bug.

But its pretty good for crowd control since it hit everyone and does way more damage in my opinion while riot gun more of focus target type
If you max it out the game will give you a large amount of shotgun shells to make up for it.
@@ratso8193 but in the OG game when you upgraded ammo capacity it gave you a full mag for free so if you waited to upgrade till your weapons were empty you would get free ammo the old striker exclusive gave you a free 100 rounds
That is 1 of 2 complaints I have about the remake (the other being the removal of "kicking open doors")
@@kotobakana because its slowing you down? Why you prefer kicking door instead of opening it instanly?
the animation on the skull shaker is amazing. isn’t it the Terminator 2 shotgun?
Yup, basically.
Yup, cut down Winchester 1887 lever action shotgun
Fun fact Arnold almost broke his hand doing that. Be awesome if they added a Bonnie and Clyde special as a dlc.
If it had the big loop for the flip cocking it would be dead on other than that it is a perfect replica. I bought and built an 1887 replica it’s a lot of fun but pumps are better
@@teuflhunden the chicago typewriter is the closest we’ll get to a weapon they’d use
Skull Shaker is incredible and I love using it. But anyone else think the W-870 is actually very underrated?
It’s actually not underrated at all, it does the most damage at max level
Both are solid options! 🙂
@@JellyJman yet few people use it
@@JellyJman That doesn’t make it not underrated, it’s just the fact that no one uses it late game or in New Game Plus.
👍
I love getting up close and personal so the striker is still a go-to to me.
👍
Head shots with the riot gun feel so amazing, but I love mowing everything down with the striker it never gets old.
The Riot Gun in OG was a pump action like the W-870. In Remake it’s a semi-auto.
👍
It looks to be modeled after the Benelli M3, which is actually a dual action shotgun. It's both semi-auto and pump action. Interesting gun lol
Thank you for making a real video with real presentation not just text and stats alone.
I'm surprised you don't have millions of views on this!
What made the Striker amazing in the orginal, when you upgrade it, you are given 100 rounds for free, enough to go through the rest of the game 🤣
👍
Yeah, the removal of free ammo when upgrading was pretty disappointing considering they expect you to do speedruns to unlock everything.
I agree -- I recently tried the skull shaker for the 1st time on my 6th playthrough and maxed it out. I effing love this thing. It's so powerful (headshot machine), and it's sooo effing compact. It's great with the cat ears. My fav shotgun by far.
Nice! 👍
Straight to the point, great vid dude, good work.
The spread of the Riot Gun should be the baseline for more shotguns in gaming, the comical blunderbuss-like spread of so many shotguns in gaming has annoyed me for as long as I can remember.
Blunderbuss 😂😂
I haven't heard that since school 🤣
Riot gun has it all:
tight spread
amazing damage
reliable fire-rate
👍
It absolutely *shreds* the armor Plagas
Just wanna say I like your format for videos. No long intros, just straight into the info. 👍
Excellent job demonstrating all the shotguns.
Helpful to know the stats, the perks, and the spread of each shot.
👍
The capacity is great on the striker as ammo drops depend on the ammo you have in your case. Meaning you have 48 rounds stocked up and the game still drops shotgun shells regularly. Makes the cqbr great as well.
Once I got the Riot gun it's the only shotgun I've carried in my inventory. It's the best in my opinion.
Nice! 👍
I can’t tell how satisfying it was on my first playthrough having a fully upgraded skull shaker and one cycling Ramon
Riot gun for range and boss fights, striker for close encounters
Finished my first run with Striker for nostalgia sake. I found myself getting into close encounters a lot anyways, and boy did it ever crowd control entire rooms with a single shot. Also made stupidly short work of the boar headed enemies.
👍
I feel like each shotgun is good for different things
The classic is just a single target powerhouse, peak ammo efficiency and decent space economy. You want big numbies, you pick that one
The riot gun is more for taking out multiple dangerous targets quickly. It has great accuracy, fire rate and damage, but that accuracy also makes it the worst shotgun in the game for getting a horde of peasants off your ass. its also the biggest shotgun
The striker is (excluding preorder weapons) the most compact of all the shotguns and holds the most ammo (to the point that the space its ammo would take up means it would be just as big as the other shotguns, which is a big plus for me since im a massive hoarder), but also does the least damage and has the worst spread. The thing is, that worst spread also makes it god tier for making space. Each blast won't do much damage and youll go through your ammo fast, but it hits so many people at once that in a second or two the whole village will be on their asses wondering if anyone got the plate for that truck that ran them over.
Striker is still crazy good. You can mow through brutes in seconds with no issue due to the fire rate and damage.
Striker works great for me even with bosses. Easy to get multiple shots in at the right time.
thanks for these vids I really love the content!
Glad you like them!
It depends it's between the riot shot gun and the striker. If you're good with your shots and good at parrying the riot gun will not fail you. But if you're not familiar with the parrying system and you constantly find yourself getting swarmed the striker will do good for crowd controlling.
Both are good options 🙂
👍
Riot gun's tight spread makes it like a discount magnum. And that's a good thing
👍
I forced myself to use the riot gun and striker on different runs and the striker is so short ranged I basically only panic use it going to try to skullshaker, never considered the inventory space till now
Just something to think about. 🙂
Problem with the Skullshaker is it needs the final perk to shine.
Whats the final perk?
@@LordFarquaad_ X2 damage
That's fine man.. I hate getting too powerful too quick. Part of the fun for me is the struggle.. I wanna be running for my life, surviving by eating this egg on the ground.
I don't blasting fools away like some kinda hero!
I was doing 2 different playthroughs side by side, since I wanted to use different guns and the Skull Shaker is easily the worst gun to run in a NG setting since it's worse then W-870 or Riot Guns until you get past the hedge maze and unlock all the upgrades. The low damage and high spread cause it to eat up a ton of ammo during the early game and starves out your other weapons to keep crafting shotgun rounds to feed it
agree, i think Skull Shaker is not for damage output but only for defening in close range melee attackers.
Waiting for the other weapons great stuff mate ❤
Ty Ty, you're too kind! ❤
Depends on your style of gameplay which shotgun is the best for you. It's meant to suppress a group of mobs Infront of you, and push them back in close quarters, and for this the striker is king, literally cutting them in half.
Damn the Skull shaker looks nasty kinda like the full power Matilda from the last video lmao. Thanks for all the useful insight & tips!!
Doing a run with Matilda right now and I can tell you this thing shreds boss like a TMP with stock on crack. The only downside is having too much fun and realizing you are running a bit low on the handgun ammo
I honestly see the striker as more of a group stagger type shotty because of its intense spread
I still love the Striker, but Riot gun is a beast, without question.
👍
Riot gun was my favorite in the og and love with what they did to it in the remake. The M4 benelli in general is my favorite shotgun design
Striker, as mentioned in the video is NOWHERE near as good in the OG. I personally use shotguns as a crowd control rather than to just obliterate a target. It really has helped me in Novestador room and in island tbh because you get swarmed so easily 😂
I'm tempted to drop $2 for that 1887
I like the striker because it holds so many shotgun shells and keeps my inventory freed up
Nice comparisons.
For me the best shotgun is riot gun.
It helped me with pro s+.
My load out was:
Riot gun
Sentinel 9
Killer 7
And the most op weapon The Sweeper lol
Stryker/Drum fed gets my vote. Fires fast and does superb dog as long as you are point blank as you should be.
The dlc shotgun is not bad either
👍
The thing is how often do you get swarmed and use a shotgun? I rather use a flash
@@JellyJman playstyles differ person to person, idk the striker chops people in half at the waste if they are close enough so I go for that
👍
I ran the skull shaker because of the small inventory space lol I got to use every ammo type in my first playthrough
👍
I think the skull shaker is the best. 19 damage max with the upgrade ticket and 6 Shots with a ridiculous spread and it’s way smaller so less space taken ip
👍
Striker, because it is the best doing the main role of a shotgun: hitting hard several enemies at close range.
Nah the skull and the w780 do that better lol.
👍
Despite the nerf on the striker. I still love the gun. To shotguns are strictly crowed control
👍
That is a beautifully organized inventory
I think the Skull Shaker is my favourite and the Striker was my favourite in the original game
Nice! 👍
The skull shaker is my fav shotgun... love the action with you fire it just like in Terminator 2
Same! 👍
I can not listen to any person talking about a shotgun without hearing Bill Burr saying " You need a shotgun, It's got a good spread"
👍
most of these weapon tips dont work when playing on hardcore or higher, where you have to get the best our of every shot, so weak weapons like skull shaker are just useless, riot gun is ok but i wouldnt call it the best, shotguns should be used to push enemies away and give breathing space, shotgun really is only used as a "dps" weapon very early in the game, once you get rifle or tmp it just becomes a rushing in weapon and pushing enemies away weapon, which the riot gun cant do well because of the very tight spread
I always run Silver Ghost, Riot Gun and Bolt Action
👍
I like the striker because it doesnt take up as much space as the riot gun and with all of that ammo youll never run out
you are the RE4R lord god
To be clear, the skull shaker and sentinel 9 pistol are both NOT considered bonus weapons, only dlc. I know this because I used them both to play professional mode amd was still able to unlock the handcannon. The only weapons that are considered "bonus" are the primal knife, Chicago sweeper, handcannon and infinite rocket launcher.
Wow With the riot Shotgun I was Too close to Enemies I didn't know I could be a little further away that's great news
Yea, it's got the best spread for longer range. 🙂
I mainly use the Riot, but after looking at this, I’m gonna try the Skull Shaker!
It's really fun! 🙂
Striker, TMP, and the 2nd sniper. Not what I remember.
I did infinite ammo striker runs to back in the day. It was littery like playing doom lol
It goes for a full Shotgun Playthrough
W 870 = Magnum
RiotGun = Sniper rifle
Skull Shaker = Tmp
Striker =Chicago Sweeper
Not going to waste money on the striker, unless have extra money from playthroughs and fully upgrading guns.
man i love your vids
Fully upgraded Striker is actually only two blocks larger than the skull shaker... Until you have more than 48 shotgun shells in your inventory. Which I don't think I ever have
I liked the Striker more in the original. The Riot Gun is my favorite in RE4 remake. I like the way it looks too. Can't get ammo from upgrading weapons anymore, so Riot Gun.
👍
The riot shotgun was arguably the best shotgun in classic resident evil 4. Main reason being it's accuracy and range with the pellets will most of the time land on your target.
The Riot Gun was actually very good in the OG, too - my top favorite. It's just that the Striker was very decent for the smaller size in addition to the speed bug.
👍
