Totally agree mate. I play with quite a few high handicappers and I often say that you will find shots that are your go to shots and feel right and it's hard to get through sometimes.
Zane playing a cutty 6iron instead of a 8iron and a low flighted 9iron from 100yards is a great example of this.

What I find super interesting is how playing with a 'better' player can affect our own performance. JB playing with Tubes and Ange is always a very good scratch player. Playing with Zane (+5) his performace level is different. The only explanation is mental pressure of feeling you have to perform at your best to impress/beat/compete against the better player. Keep up the great content guys! Been watching all your latest vids. JB you are a proper funny LEGEND!!
Very interesting. I didn’t even notice this. I’m just getting into golf and I think this is the beauty and difficulty of the game. You’ll also find out within your group, who has integrity. This game reveals so much about who you are in your everyday life. Can you remain calm under pressure?, can you pull it back after messing up a few holes?, do you cheat? Are you consistent? The only downside I see to this game, is the costs. It’s blimming expensive isn’t it? 😂
