I've just discovered your channel reading your post in FSdeveloper. As retro flight simmer too I love the quality of your channel. Please continue your lavor of love for the simmer archeology ;)
Love your videos ! Very interesting, and high quality, take your time to make them. It's crazy to think about the amount of information we can find online nowadays, seems so obvious that I tend to forget it wasn't always the case
Very true, and a welcome thing if you ask me. With all my nostalgia for the time, it's hard to imagine going back to a time before so much information was readily accessible. Thanks for the kind words and look forward to more videos soon!
Unfortunately upon further inspection the data isn't perfect. Something I forgot to mention in the video is that a lot of codeshare flights are in the data, which means many dozens of repeated flights and some have conflicting schedule information. But it would still be useful for some specific things and overall the data is reasonably good. I wish I knew what source the data was from but even Flight1 didn't know when I asked them.
i have video suggestion: there is not a single video review for Flight Simulator 2002 on youtube, there are only tutorials and gameplays. all the other 95, 98, 2000, 2004 and X have been reviewed previously but this one has completely fell from the radar for some reason. it was an important installment in the series as it improved and introduced many things
This has a very LGR feel. I say this with the highest of compliments.
Wow this was really well edited! I'm really impressed! Liked and subbed 👍

Awesome! Perhaps you could do one on the original PMDG 737NG for FS2002 and FS2004
I do plan on covering that one in a future video!
Damn, we need to extract that for some 2000 AI in FS9 thru P3D...

You could make a video talking about Captain Sim's 707 for Fs2004?
Definitely on the long and ever growing list of topics to cover!

Thanks for the suggestion! I actually have a big box version of FS2002 and I have long wanted to make just such a video.
Awesome! Can you do Flight1 Super 80 Retrospective? I really love that addon
That would be an excellent video idea. Give me some time and I'm sure I'll get around to it eventually 🙂
