This woman is so extremely talented and yet most people don’t even know who she is. She should be a household name by now but let me shut up. Great reaction!
Found your channel today and immediately subscribed, incredible content I think you might enjoy: Aqui y jazz Rachelle Ferrell - Sister Lisa Fischer - How Can I Ease The Pain Live (she's just a vocal beast) I would also love an analysis of Florence Welch (maybe like a best of or sth), not as academic as the two, but she has such an interesting style of singing
Ledisi is from New Orleans...Nouvelle Orléans...nous sommes françias, ici! She is so brilliant and so underrated. Happy she got a Grammy this year, finally! What a beautiful song...
When she won the Grammy over some of my favorite artists, I was ready to be angry. I looked up her npr concert and any frustrations were immediately gone. Then I heard she was nominated FIFTEEN times! She's amazing and more than deserves this.
I’m excited because the only female version of this song that I know is Shirley Bassey, who smashes it in English with a version called “if you go away”.
Thank you Janice and no worries. While subs definitely help, it's that folks watch and enjoy my videos that I care about the most. Thank you for watching!
I can listen to Ledisi sing anything. I love her style, her dynamics, the different colors she creates. She is a veteran of live performances.

Agree totally. She’s amazing. I’m going to see her sing Nina Simone at Carnegie Hall in February. Can’t wait.

Ledisi is amazing. Please react to Balm in Gilead by Karen Clark Sheard, she does a lot of really cool things in that song.
