Probably about once every 7 months I go up to the Quakertown Farmers market. I will say it's nice and quiet up there and it seems like there's no trouble up there either, like no gangs no violence or anything like that. Just a nice quiet peaceful little town
I’m from Jamaica and I love it here because it reminds me so much of my home land except for snow , I have two boys and they love it here, great town to live and raise kids honestly, everywhere has its good and bad but I really love living in Quakertown
It's really just sprawl. Just moved out of Quakertown after 15 years and am now realizing how annoying it is to live there. Quakertown is alot better than it was 10 years ago or so, but still pretty lacking. Traffic is nuts, housing is way overpriced, but they are admittedly trying to give more in terms of entertainment to the community. 4/10 stars
I've lived here for over 20 years. Raised 5 kids here. You can always find something to complain about if that is your goal. I love it here and if you don't you SHOULD leave. The parks and ball fields are what drew us here. I coached little league football and baseball here, fun times. Schools were all but 1 within walking distance for kids. Holiday parades right past my house, love it here. Nice job on video!
The nice homes in Quakertown are WAY over priced. A lot of young drug addicts. Rush hour traffic is HORRIBLE, for such a small town. Since several major roads cross through the town. The only thing that is positive about Quakertown, is location. When it comes to getting food, fast food, casual sit down, fancy sit down, you have options. They have chain restaurants, and nice private owned. And as far as grocery shopping goes, you could easily never leave the town, and have everything you will ever need. And driving to big cities isn't to far. This video lied though, to ACTUALLY get to Philly, is more then 47 miles. Its more like around 60, if you want to get to the city part of Philly. 47 miles to the suburb out skirts. As far as entertainment goes, bowling or movies. Other then that, its doing drugs in the basement on a Friday night.
