bricks could be stronger against bullets and weaker against explosives to add some dynamic to raiding
I think maybe bricks health could be reduced to less than metal, and in compensation, brick be a gatherable resource like wood and metal that doesn't require looting. Maybe clay deposits spawn along beaches, they could be dug up with a shovel, then standing near a fire allows you to craft bricks?

I feel like bricks should be strong against bullets, but weak to explosives
Whereas metal is weaker to bullets, but strong against explosions
@@Ageddevistation3323 most raids mainly use explosives to break structures. Bricks being weak against explosives just makes them even worse.

personally, if Nelson took out the part where you craft the parts to a house with the new item, it would make building feel way better since usually if i wanna whip up a quick base, half of my parts just chill on the ground after crafting

the buidling planner is definetly an improvement but the fact that you still have to craft the structures still makes it slow to build

Well the sky bases now are going to be harder to protect with claim flags, and the brick walls are going difficult to do, imagine in vanilla it would take too long for finding the materials to make one. But now in semi-vanilla servers are going to be insane, imagine a sky base that is built on the max height, the only way to raid one would be under the sky base to get in at least you bring more raiding gear, thanks for the update video P9

i already know imma hop into a server, go to shoot some guy and he pops down a whole ass base in 2 seconds... very good update and it might make pvp interesting, making everyone carry a floor, 2 or 3 pillars and 2 or 3 walls to just make protection lol

i feel like the rust building system is way better just because you need raw materials to make the foundations/floors/etc., but it's a step in the right direction.
also upgrading would be great in my opinion.
It seems very barebones of a tool with how it places. I’m not sure if this would stay for long.
Salvaging faster is nice though, and the snapping is a way better improvement especially for people who build for fun.

So this has to be a cool update. I haven't heard of this until now, and I think it's more realistic to have brick walls stronger than metal. I play mostly single player in my own worlds with a bunch of mods that are mainly used for crafting and storage, so having this makes it a lot easier for me to base build.

@@boloboluu Yes, I'd like to recommend you some realistic Modern military clothing, a mod named "Craftable Tools" that adds craftable gas cans, batteries, and wheels, and the "More Farming Mod". All of these are awesome ones that I've used on my singleplayer servers, and I've used most of these on a Multiplayer server.
A quality video and a quality update. Haven't tried the item yet but it's still a good improvement for the game's building mechanic. I wish Nelson reworked the raiding system a bit, because spending explosives or high caliber bullets on wooden structures is kind of not very logical. Maybe make it so that you could break them with axes/chainsaws but it would take much longer, or just something like that.
They used to be able to raid but alot of people complained that it was too op
Back in the day that was the worst let me tell you. A good solution would be normal guns like the Heartbreaker, Zubeknakov, etc. could break the walls

Yeah, well maybe it's better like this. I mean, it could've been cool if we could break bases (or at least some structures) with some instruments like in Rust / Dayz
I would think a problem to fix this would be an item (thinking a flamethrower) with a renewable yet difficult ammo thinking custom fule canisters like sticks (to add use) gasoline and some other explosive amunition. I'm thinking this thing can be found in Germany/Russia/Holman/Washington bandits. But the rarity of a hells fury with high damage to wood low damage to metal 1-2 health per percent. This would make wood raiding endgame but easier for endgame / late game. Also hells fury thinking like 1 time use ammo like the supper charged on galvanizer. And the nyko same thing as dfang with refillable high cal. And large buff to matamorez but increasing the recoil. Snipers doing more damage at rang if your that type just cu they are snipers
update says that , building will be demarcated to unique crafting system.. no need to palce structures in bags and stuff.. i cant wait for unturned 2 after watching how good dis is..
I think its pretty useless but if you cud make it so like rust you don’t need to craft the buildings but use the tool to build straight up useing the materials and not haveing to pre craft the walls … ect

you could already do that, you could bind structures on hotbar, it would be better if you can just have wood in inventory n place stuff

Fun fact: the screenshot of the Rust building plan (0:59) is like from 2018 (not sure when, but at least more than 1,5 years), the "new" one looks a lot better
I'm not sure of if this fast building tool is good or not, it don't add anything to the game outside of fast building, so people could instantly build back their walls when they got destroyed by raiders
I think that fast building wasn't really a thing before though. Unless you had a ton of people, placing structures was pretty slow, clunky, and frustrating.
If people are really concerned about it in pvp servers the owner can just remove it.
P9 aslo in the older update u can build roofs up in skylimit and now u cant ... That sucks bc half of my base has roofs and half dont
i already can see in my mind how the sweaters gonna make use of this very very very often
my personal opinion is that there should be a upgrade system that is like rust
I think it is time for Nelson to add a floor wipe setting to Unturned, so that we finally can get rid of op-skinny camp bases, and raiders who build over bases using metal plates

All walls should take more DMG but walls who need more resources what are harder to build should be way stronger a small 25 seconds timer on the C4 would be nice you could defuse it in 5 seconds

not really since you still need to build to parts, and colllect wood and there is still the delay to change which part you want to build and you also need to put a floor and 2 pillars in order to fully build fight unless you on un-even grounds which you only need to floors but still

Imma speedrun building a skybase.
To replace a wood hole for a metal hole i need to remove the ladders, the hatch AND the doors if you have doors on the next floor of your base. WHY? Before you only needed to remove the ladders and the hatch to place a metal hole. It was already extremely annoying.
